Just tried this place today and it was sooo good! I ordered the whole chicken with 4 sides and a soda and it was perfection! Great tasting charred chicken. Beans seasoned very well! Cool little Colombian place with everything as authentic as it's gonna get, especially the bakery. Parking is tight, the place is small so don't speed fast or you'll miss it. The service was really authentic too. For a moment you think you teleported to Medellin. First time there, arrived before closing on a Sunday night. Ordered takeaway, a whole chicken with rice and beans, arepas, platanos, and yuca frita. It came with green sauce that was tasty. First time here and definitely returning!! So glad I found a Colombian place nearby I really liked! The chicken was fresh and sooo good! The green sauce both are delicious and addicting! Had rice & beans on the side and baked potatoes. I tried a round bread with cheese (pastry) and I'm def going back for more! The chicharrón perfectly made, fresh and delicious! Mi esposo decidió que quería comer aquí porque veníamos de afuera de la cuidad (Dallas) y es Colombiano. Al final después de pagar, el señor Nelson fue muy grosero preguntando que si íbamos a dejar la basura en el receptáculo de basura y que solo era para la basura del local y no de afuera. Mi esposo solo respondió que el no sabía que era problema, lo cual el señor dijo que para el si es problema porque el "es el dueño." Nosotros sacamos nuevamente la basura del receptáculo y no la llevamos. He viajado por muchas sitios/departamentos en colombia y NUNCA nos han tratado así de mal. My husband only replied that he did not know that was a problem, which the man said yes that he should've asked and said he "is the owner." We took out the trash again and took it with us still. We have traveled to many departments (states) in Colombia and they have NEVER treated us this badly. ZERO customer service at this place. What is the harm to the gentleman or the business for another person to eat their food that they bring if they are still consuming at the location and the location is COMPLETELY empty! They should not over cook their chicken very dry. And the owner is cheap with the green sauce. He gives you a tiny little plastic cup. Rice n beans are flavorless. And the The only things that were good was the fruit drink and the guava pastry , but the drink was filled maybe 1/3, the rest of the cup was packed with ice. read more

This is my neighborhood go to spot when I want some good Colombian food. They have great bandeja Paisa. ( Think that's how it spelled ). Excellent chicken. One thing you cannot miss out is the creamy green sauce. I don't know whats in it, but you could pour it on anything and it will be delicious. We love Colombian food, but usually have to go to the SW side of town. Tonight we decided to trust Yelp and try Don Chicken. Wow! The food is delicious! We tried their chicken family combo and their beef empanadas. Everything was well seasoned and cooked to perfection; both their green sauces are so good too! This is our favorite Colombian restaurant. The BBQ chicken is excellent. We usually order the the family meal; you get a whole chicken; 4 sides & a 2L drink for $28 dollars! It serves 3 adults and 2 kids with leftovers. The creamy cilantro sauce is delicious. The lady that works/owns the restaurant is very friendly and always smiling. We have been doing take-out during Covid and it is always hot and ready at our desired pick-up time. I highly recommend this restaurant! read more
