The food was very good. The bar was delicious. The fruit freah. I liked that they give you more onion rings than most places where you get about 5. Our server was nice even with having full tables. This appears to be a newer or remodeled location. Very nice decor, well lit, and very spacious. We been here for a few visits now and the food had been great each time. Service had been friendly and helpful. We especially love the breakfast buffet on the weekends! read more

The service was horrible to say the least, our server had an attitude from take a seat. Tables were dirty all around us. The fish sandwich was good but this is the worse Frisch's in the area by far when it comes to customer service and keeping the restaurant clean and presentable. Next time I will drive to Tipp City since they seem to want to take the time to be cordial to the customer and I have seen the staff taking the time to bus tables and clean windows. read more

I was so excited to share this restaurant experience with my daughters who were in Ohio for the first time- huge mistake.Thursday, 26 September 2024 at 7pm there were about 15 patrons, and two wait staff. I could see three "cooks," and a young worker working the drive through. There was a steady business through the drive. Busy Thursday night. The food arrived...cold, and a bite was already taken out of the sausage patty I was served...clearly taken from an earlier diner's plate ...I asked for new sausage...I should have left then but I had just driven across five states...After we ate, I was ready for the bill...20 minutes passed and the server never returned. I got up to pay the bill and discovered 10 other patrons waiting to do the same thing, all talking about the disappearing wait staff. A patron walked in from the drive-thru, who had gotten fed up waiting for her food to arrive- she came in to demand her money back- she reported seeing two wait staffers workers smoking across the street...this is now over 40 minutes...eventually they cam back, loudly exclaiming they deserved a break. I ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken while my Wife ordered a Fried Fish Dinner. Both came with two sides, which gave us a chance to sample most of their options: French Fries, Cole Slaw, Sweet Potato Fries, and Apple Sauce. . Our Meals were exactly as you'd expect, the side dishes were somewhat better than cafeteria quality. . This sounds like a bad thing, but it isnt. Both the Fried Fish and Chicken Fried Chicken were above average and filling. We managed to save room for a slice of Pecan Pie. It was Fresh, if not fantastic. . Overall, the meals rated 6/10. Not great, not bad. The restaurant was average, too. However, the total meal only set us back $21 + tip. That's pretty phenomenal in my boo and deserves consideration. However, if you're looking for phenomenal eats, you're never likely to get it here. . It is what it is and if that's what you're interested in, this is your place. read more

we left a different restaurant due to the long wait (+ one hour). we had a party of nine people, there was an acceptable wait time for a table to accommodate us (about :30min's), but the experience went downhill after being seated. Two of the nine ordered the buffet, the other seven ordered from the menu. Of the seven menu orders, three asked to have the food made again due to being cold, one drink was wrong (ordered decaf hot tea, decaf coffee was brought instead, and when we inquired, we were told "we don't carry decaf tea, sono brought this instead"), other various items (butter, jelly, etc.) had to be asked for multiple times...not a place I would recommend We should have waited at the other restaurant read more

Impressively bad. Ordered a chicken sandwich and they were out of those. Ordered a chicken Parm dinner. They came out to the salad bar and scraped crusty spaghetti and which had clearly been sitting there all day and threw a chicken patty on top and brought it over and actually served it to me. Ordered the hot diggity dog. Let me say, skyline, gold star, any frozen hot dog concoction found at Walmart, you don't have anything to worry about. I ordered it with chili and cheese. My granddaughter and I stopped here to eat and waited and waited and waited and no one seated us. 2 other ladies had been there before us and a long time waiting and they told us the couple before them had just finally seated themselves. We continued to wait a little longer and finally decided there was no one there interested in seating us much less waiting on us. We finally left. We figured if they did not care to give us a seat and a menu we probably did not have time to wait to get any food. I would not recommend going there. It was not busy. Only a few guests are seated inside and a few cars are outside. If these places want to make it they need to have employees that will work and not socialize on work time. The restaurant is pretty clean. But when they clean a table off they should sweep the floor at the same time. Since it's Sunday, we decided to come for the breakfast buffet. Not impressed at all. The scrambled eggs were not fluffed when cooked so they didn't taste right. The sausage gravy was watered down too much, so you couldn't get the full flavor. The sausage patties were so dried out you could use them as hockey pucks. No one stirred the food occasionally to maintain the freshness. But the bacon strips were pretty good. So, let me start by saying that if I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. It seems like Frisch's in general are going downhill but when I say that this one is on the top of the list of worst restaurants out there at the moment, it's not an understatement. From the "customer service", at ALL levels, to the food, to the wait times...AWFUL. I have lived in the area for 7 years and have been to this Frisch's at least 15 times because I have always believed in giving second chances and I honestly just keep hoping that something will change, and that is on me. However, I can count on one hand the number of times my order has come quickly, correctly and with someone pleasant to hand it to me. Let me recount a couple different defining moments that not only have me swearing it off completely, but I will tell anyone who orders from here to go elsewhere. * Came in with family, including my son and his gf for homecoming. Came in an hr and a half before the dance for a "quick" dinner. There were maybe 8 tables seated but definitely not busy enough to warrant us walking in and standing there for at least 5 MINUTES with not one person out of the 10 I saw walking around the floor and behind the counter saying ANYTHING. And they saw us. Made eye contact, but still nothing. Finally, someone came and seated us. Took another 35 min to get the food and by then, we had to get going in order to make it to the dance on time, so we packed most everything up and left. *Picked up a doordash order recently. Pickup time was quoted at 4:31 pm. They did not hand me the order until 4:45, and it was shorted a milkshake, which I realized after I took the order to the customer. When I came all the way back to make sure my customer got his milkshake, the same girl who handed it to me proceeded to ask if I had a receipt (I gave the order to the customer, so no) then said she didn't have one. I pressed the issue because I knew we forgot his shake. So she walked to the back and started going off, saying "Y'all I'm SO done" "How she not gonna look at the order before she left?!" "These mf's just trying to get free stuff"...then when she went to get the ice cream, she says "this shit is rock hard". And there is the truth of the whole matter right there. She didn't make it the first time around for that reason. I spoke with the supervisor about this incident, because I'm standing at the counter and can hear EVERYTHING. when I say she handled this girl with kid gloves...I'd have told her to clock out and go home and we would discuss this the next day, if she still had a job. *This isn't the first time I've come in and heard some of the most obscene things being said in the drive thru (the worst part of the whole place). And there is no type of supervision to shut it down. Whether theyre too scared to or are part of the problem...Customers have a right to come into a restaurant to eat without hearing all of the obscenities all the time. If you hate your job, quit. Management needs to do better or the whole place needs to be shut down and just start from scratch where the employees are concerned. Honestly, I have nothing good to say about this Frisch's, and from the other reviews I've seen...it's been this way for awhile and won't be changing any time soon. I won't even accept a doordash order at this point and I encourage everyone to do the same. read more

I haven't been to this location in a while. The food was good as always however, the service was considerably less than good. I asked for milk for my coffee and recieved about a thimble full. Took my order and I received no napkins or flatware. Finally had to ask for a napkin. When I went to the counter to pay the cheque I stood for nearly 10 minutes without being acknowledged. Finally when I was noticed and helped the staff person was rude. I asked her how long must I stand here before being helped. Went to this location for dinner. After 55 minutes, never got our food. Voiced our displeasure to the 'shift leader'. She was rude and argumentative. But only after she finished eating her sandwich that the kitchen prepared for her. I guess it was more important to make sure the staff ate before the paying customers. We saw many tables get up and leave as well as people turning around and walking out after waiting and never being seated. Instead of Corporate giving this location a face lift and remodel, they really should have stuck a fork in this restaurant and called it done! How hard is it to keep something in stock that is on the menu and also FROZEN? Thank covid. What was once a restaurant that never disappointed is now given 2 stars. You can seat yourself once you order and pre- pay for food that could possibly leave you feeling less than satisfied. A friend and I had a not so pleasant visit to this particular chain restaurant. We marveled at how quickly our food was delivered to our table after ordering and watched as order after order was delivered to other patrons. We realized the food was not freshly cooked. My friends onion rings were cold after eating her second one. No problem because our sandwiches tasted so good. The problem began once we were almost done with our meal. We would have enjoyed having refills of drinks while we ate, that didn't happen. We continued to wait because we had ordered hot fudge cakes. 20 minutes had gone by. No refills of our drinks, no hot fuge cakes, my friend was about to get up and go to the counter to make a complaint when our waitress came over to tell us she would be bringing out the desert momentarily. 5 minutes later we recieved them. My mind is blown away! So many things that I feel are wrong! First off, when you arrive, you don't get seated, you have to place your order and pay for it at the register! One problem thus crested is, while lm looking over the menu, at the cash register, other customers are waiting to place their order, which means a back up of customers. Next it makes you feel rushed, because others are waiting to get their order in. Why not sit the people, with the menus, let them look at it at their leisure, no rush! So you've placed your order, to include drinks (with all condiments printed on ticket - cream sugar type of jelly, etc). When you pay, they ask if you want to leave a tip for your waitress, and how much? ( I don't know what service is going to be, so I have no idea on top?!)Then they tell yo to have a seat anywhere you want, give you a numbered sign and send you to dining area. Ok now you're sitting down waiting for a waitress to bring you the drinks you ordered, and waiting, and waiting, and waiting! If waitress is there to take your order, you know who to look for, but thus way, anybody could be your waitress!! Here comes your drinks, and the waitress asks you if there is anything else, like creamer, sugar, jelly, etc (remember it being on your order ticket? -this goes to quality of service - remember tip that you paid). Now comes the condiments that you asked for -twice! Now you wait for your food, and wait , and wait! No waitress comes back to check on you, (remember the tip you paid in advance? Well there's your service)! Now you get your food and now where the hell is your waitress? Looks like she did her job -remember you gave her tip already! Food was mediocre, and couldn't get anything changed because waitress has done her job and has moved on! So MANY things wrong there! That is one Big Boy I will not be going to again! Breakfast buffet is very much of the 'pile it high, kick it out cheap' approach. Which is fine when you consider the budget, but they're pretty slow to replenish it once a few folks have devastated it. Decent enough though, no worse than an average hotel breakfast buffet. Also, if it's busy the service slips dramatically as there's not enough waiting staff. Due to a large table taking up the waitresses' time we were told to seat ourselves, and promptly got forgotten about. 15 minutes later we left and went elsewhere without having been acknowledged. I love big boys but i hate rude people. This girl named Megan keeped pushing us to order and we only took 3 minutes or so. Then when we payed she was still rude hurrying us and all she did was take my card charge it n give it back right away, told us to pull up and wait.
