Such a cute store filled with tons of fun trinkets! I heard about this place through TikTok, and it definitely lives up to the hype. The inside was packed with an assortment of products, from stationary and candles to decor and toys. They organized products into sections (pillows, stickers, New York themed goods, etc.), which made the store easy to navigate. There are a ton of gag gifts, perfect for a laugh. Underwhelming. I thought this was going to be a cute trinket shop, it had some cute things but they were expensive. This came off to me as more of an elevated smoke shop, there were a lot of glass pipes and matches which wasn't what I was in the market for. This shop is a whole dark stone comedy on its own... i love to shop here they have the most beautiful and unique weed bongs, I recently purchased this book for my big D friend who is embarrassed to have a big piece and actually this book has help him and i love it for him. I love this store so much i bring a new friend every time i visit and they have become regulars here because how can you not love this store. If i could say something bad or negative i can point 2 things that i was not a fan off but not a big deal TO ME 1. The customer service is very much nonexistent as they only have 1-2 employees and they stay behind the register at all times. 2. The prices for their items are ridiculous but they do put and move things for huge sales or discounted relatively quick. So when i like something i wait 30 days and then i can afford it because who's paying 69.99 for a small candle or a weed grinder not me .... I went here once like two years ago and it was cute and had a few accessories but has greatly turned into a quirky head shop. I mean there used to be like a few pipes and other things, but the place is now 60% pipes, bongs, grinders, lighters, etc. There's still a lot of cute stuff though, I just don't smoke so the amount of the store that appeals to me is simply a lot less than it used to be. read more

I came here on Black Friday for a few reasons. I've never been to this store before, yet I've always wanted to go to it since I live not far away. Thought it would be a good idea to have my first visit when they were having a 30% off the entire store Black Friday sale! Very easy to get to. The L to the Morgan Avenue stop leaves you right across the street. There are a few janky steps leading down into the store so be careful going down them. The store was really busy when I got there. It's a decent sized store yet it felt cramped with all of the customers. Items here are either extremely overpriced or just okay. I don't mind giving small businesses my money at all, but $20 for a Snoopy keychain is a bit much. Getting that all out of the way, I really did love this store! If I would have went there with more money, I'd be broke because I would have bought 80% of the store. They have such unusual, fun and interesting items here. Thrifted clothes with changing rooms in the back. A table dedicated to Snoopy. A table for Hello Kitty. Lots of candles and housewares. Some beauty items such as face masks from the Creme Shop, sunscreen, soap, etc. LOTS of cannabis paraphernalia like pipes, rolling papers, etc. There's a table with NYC touristy themed items, but not in the cheesy Times Square sense. They had a book on pigeons that looked really interesting. Think I'll go back for that one. I went to the counter with a wide range of items. An on sale Snoopy candle for $20. A Larry David themed birthday card. Socks that said F*#K YOU for $10. A Christmas tree in a bag(grow your own!)for $15, and a Mariah Carey Christmas themed lighter for $8.95. With the discount I got everything for $50 which isn't too bad. Plus, they gave me free Hello Kitty socks for my purchase of fifty bucks. The cashier was so friendly and nice. They have a loyalty program so make sure you sign up for that. I hope to come back very soon! read more

This is one of those stores you visit not expecting to purchase anything, yet end up leaving with 5 random fun things you don't really need. Hello - I called your store to place an order for pickup of a Grateful Dead candle on October 17th. I gave my credit card information over the phone and had an Uber messenger pick it up for $30. When I got the a package it was missing half of the product - no candles were included. So I called your store back and the manager said she would refund me for the inconvenience - and only charge me $1 for the product. I then sent another 30$ Uber to pick up the missing candles. I gave your manager my credit card information to process the refund and she said it was alerting her that I purchased with a gift card which is not possible, because I had just placed the order less than an hour before using my Mastercard. I have been waiting for my refund since that day. Today I called and spoke to the same manager who said I authorized her to issue the refund as a gift card which is a) not true and b) not what we agreed on. To be honest the whole experience has me scratching my head / really frustrated. I commented on your Instagram and someone replied to me - asked for my Venmo last Thursday and then deleted the comments but still no refund. Can someone please help figure this out and be over? I'm out like triple my money on a $20 product at this point and it's fully insane. read more

Okay, I have officially had it. What happened to the staff in here? I love this store, and I go every few months, sometimes every month, sometimes 2-3 times a month. I love the gifts. But the last (at least) 3 times I've gone in, I am getting mean-mugged by the staff. They take their sweet time acknowledging me when I walk up to the register even if I'm the only one in the store and all three are right there, do not even say anything to me when I say hi at the register. Last time two were talking at the register, abruptly stopped talking and looked down when I walked up, clearly like pissed off or something. What is going on? I have dyed my hair neon red since this started happening? Do yall have a neon red thief you keep marking me for? This sucks so bad. I wanted to confront the staff this time but I really wanted to leave with having purchased my friend the cute gifts I picked out. I can't tell you how much my heart hurts as I vent about this. It reminds me of growing up in the south and when you are the only brown/black kid in a store, the staff will glare at you and even follow you around. It gives me that same feeling. I'm so scarred from that as a child that when I'm in a store I don't even TOUCH my purse and am super self conscious about looking/doing anything that could be misconstrued. What tf is going on.. Interesting clothing and gift shop that's worth checking out if you're in the area. We stopped in and browsed for a few minutes after having dinner nearby. I noticed that others complained about the workers watching patrons like hawks... well, on our visit, my friend and watched a guy pocket an item, and shoplifting here is a real issue. My friend reported it to workers, but the guy managed to slip out the door before they could confront him.... While I would never wear any of the clothes items here, the other gift items, cards and books are interesting and worth taking a look at. read more

I came into the store and was in complete awe. It is a very beautiful store with gorgeous merchandise. However, I did not appreciate BEING FOLLOWED THROUGHOUT THE STORE. I have worked in retail before and understand that you have to watch but the way it was done did not generate a comfortable environment at all.Everywhere my friend and I went, one specific employee was there. It got so bad to the point that she had ran into my friend trying to get where we were at. This is completely unacceptable. The environment made me so uncomfortable to the point that I left after 5 minutes purchasing nothing. Very cool Bushwick vintage shop with an interesting, eclectic assortment of items of both new and vintage nature.  Thought we'd just pop in to kill 5 minutes and maybe buy a card for a party we were heading to, and wound up killing a good 30 minutes perusing their wares.  The selection of sunglasses alone is worth the visit - you'll be torn between the cool, reasonably-priced options and the amazing, outré, unfortunately more expensive ones.  My wife wound up falling in love with and buying a sweet green 80s-style prom dress kind of get-up.  I wasn't able to make quite such a score, but I enjoyed perusing their assortment of men's clothes and thumbing through gift options such as the Dinosaurs Smoking Weed coloring book all the same.  And I did find a Buffy postcard, so major bonus points for that.   I will note that they currently have a 10% off Yelp Check-In offer which the staff seemed utterly unaware of and somewhat skeptical about - I won't say they made me feel like I was trying to scam them for a discount, but... well... they kind of made me feel like I was trying to scam them.  And they did mention the 8:30 closing time 3 times between 8-8:30 and kind of made clear they'd drag you out of the changing room half-naked at 8:29 if need be. But we got some quality stuff, and for (a legit) 10% off under the wire, so.. I'd happily come back if I'm in the area. Heck, I might even come a bit out of my way to come back. I've been a couple times because of its convenient location and each time the employees have stared at me like I'm going to take something and are flippant if I try to ask them a question. One star for the selection of items at this store; I was close to purchasing some items, but the attitude of the employees completely put me off, and I don't want to support a business that is selective about what they think the "right customer" looks like. If I could give zero stars, I would. This store had a "happy hour" afternoon sale and a welcoming, cute storefront, both of which lured me in. The inside was huge; you can easily spend an hour browsing and trying on clothes. Here's where things got unpleasant: -Everyone in the store was greeted and offered a complimentary drink. I was stared at until a new person came in behind me, at which point the new person was cheerily greeted; -Employees circled me while I browsed, but I was not offered help or otherwise verbally acknowledged. Just stared at; -At one point I unknowingly stood directly in front of the bar to choose some patches to purchase; I was again stared down in silence by the bartender; -An employee lit an unknown substance and repeatedly passed it over my head without saying anything. This would be a huge issue if they did this to someone with allergies or asthma; luckily I was more confused and uncomfortable than anything. I was stunned by the lack of care taken in trying to make new customers feel welcome. I put down my items and left with no intention of returning. read more

I was thrifting around the area and saw they had a Labor Day sale. Was really enjoying the place, it was adorable. I had never been before. It's crazy when you're having a great time and then you have an employee following you around the store as if you and your sister are stealing. It's funny because she wasn't even trying to be low key about it. She also seems like the only woman of color that works there which makes it interesting that she views other women of color this way. She was kinda nice at the end maybe she felt bad because she checked us out? Whatever. Totally ruined my impression of the store. Makes sense why a bunch of white girls run the store. read more

It could've been a cool spot, but I'd never step foot in there again. The employees ignored me and the friend I was with from the minute we walked in until we left. No one greeted us, no one asked us if we needed anything, no one would answer our questions, and we were repeated pushed past when looking at the displays. There was an event going on with a sale and free wine in shop. The customer ahead of us was offered a drink, the customers behind us were as well. Meanwhile the employees proceeded to look right past us. Not great, but not a deal breaker, we hadn't really gone there for this event specifically. But while we were browsing, a staff member kept walking past us and blowing sage smoke in our faces repeatedly for no particular reason. Didn't ask us if that was okay, didn't care that I was tearing up, just kept blowing the smoke at us. At this point we felt super uncomfortable and put what we were looking at back on the rack and left. The shop itself cool, I wish I could say I had an even decent experience. I found some awesome items from some smaller brands I got excited about; but I won't give my business to place that makes me feel uncomfortable or unwelcome. So I took down the names and can buy them from another retailer or online from the brands directly. read more
