My experience here was subpar at best. The food was fine, but service was remarkably slow as the restaurant was clearly understaffed. I came at an off hour (around 2:00 pm on a weekday) so I wasn't expecting a 45 minute wait time for a single burger, and another 30 minutes for an ice cream Sunday. Drove over 2 hours to come eat here for breakfast! All of the Buffalo locations closed years ago. They have the best French Toast I've ever had. Actually walked out of this restaurant tonight. From the minute I walked in, I could sense something was wrong. The line for take out was out the door and as I walked into sit down, I could hear multiple tables of customers complaining about how horrible the service was. I sat down and actually heard the waitress cursing under her breath about her tables as she walked me to the table. I waited for 25 minutes and then got up and left. The waitress didn't even ask for my drink order during that time. This was the dirtiest Friendly's Ive ever been in. The tables were full of dishes from former customers and the floor was filthy. Do not eat here. Go down the street another 30 seconds and you'll find a bunch of other better places to eat. read more

Everyone knows Friendly's Ice Cream is straight up delicious, so I'll leave it out of this review. I was never a big fan of their food though. It was always dry, greasy, or bland. Not this time! They are making some great changes at Friendly's and my Dad and I were pleasantly surprised when we went for lunch yesterday. We decided on the 2 for $20 deal they have going on and boy did we make out! We had the Buffalo Tender Appetizer, I had the Fish and Chips, and my Dad ordered the Pepperjack burger. MMMmmmmhmmmm. The sauce on the buffalo tenders was great and there was plenty of extra sauce left in the bowl after we ate them all. My Fish and Chips was tender, flaky, and butter... everything I want when I order fish. But let us pause a minute on the burger. My Dad was going to ask for steak sauce (past experience with Friendly's food called for it), but then wisely decided to try it first. Wow. TONS of flavor packed in to the patty and it was cooked PERFECTLY. I know half a dozen restaurants that screw that up even after they ask me how I'd like it cooked (medium/light pink in the center). I took a star off for service. We walked in and one other family was waiting on the side, and another small group in front of us. The lady at the stand (I think it might have been a manager?) didn't put down anyone's name, just grabbed the small group in front of us and disappeared. She didn't re-appear for another 10 minutes. This left the Ice Cream counter lady to come over (after 3 more groups came in behind us) to figure out what order she needed to put us all down. After we were sat down our waitress was prompt with our food and ice cream, but didn't seem like she wanted to be there. We'll definitely be back for more than ice cream next time. read more

Got there for someone's birthday dinner and we were told a 20 minute wait in our car due to covid then they would call us in. We waited there for almost an hour and a half but no call. Many people arrived after us and went in and sat down and ate (With a larger party than us, we were only 3 people) so we left and got KFC. Much better I recommend KFC read more

I take my daughter here for ice cream often and I'm pretty unimpressed as of lately. About a week ago I ordered a hunka chunka pb fudge, they didn't put any peanut butter or fudge on top of my sundae!! How do you forget that?! Didn't realize until we were all the way home as we got it to go! So there was nothing I could do. Also you pretty much have to order a large because the medium is not what a 3scoop use to be. Sometimes it 3 scoops sometimes it's 2! Depends on who's working. But the large is always right, unless they're forgetting your toppings! Get it together! Friendlys is a tradition around here and we're already sad to see the others go! read more

Have attempted to eat here three times in the past year and have unsuccessful . Each time I have been told at least a 30 minute wait even though there are plenty of open tables there. Obviously, they are understaffed and can't seat everyone. I just don't have the time to wait that long just to grab a hamburger. read more

Poor service. Was seated right away but had to call a server to get drinks. Ordered food when drinks were ordered, we watched other people who arrived at the same time and after receive their food. We waited over 50 minutes and finally left with no food. We will never go back and probably will never visit another Friendly's. Better off going to a local restaurant diner then here. This is probably why you see so many of their restaurants closing. I am sure it will only get worse. read more

I waited two hours on my waitress, my food tasted horrible to the point where I could barely eat it. It was cold and me and my family all ordered sundaes at the end. All of our sundaes were wrong, I am allergic to chocolate like deathly and I ordered no chocolate in mine and rainbow sprinkles instead of chocolate. I got home when I realized it was all chocolate, when I called nobody really helped besides offering an entree. No refund or anything. My waitress offered sides as if they come with our meal, but we were charged for every side. read more

Fairly dead inside when we showed up, little did I know, this was about to be THE WORST service ever experienced and longest I've ever sat in a restaurant. We were seated instantly and not a big crowd. After 20 minutes, we were still waiting on a waitress to show up. Finally she came and drinks and food ordered, almost 45 minutes passed and we finally received drinks and food. HUGE mistake to have ordered combos with the ice cream. Once the food was consumed, our waitress came back to get the ice cream order. Wow! Another 30 minute wait! Finally were about to walk out with 2 unhappy kids when it showed up. Very disappointing service, very frustrating visit. Bottom line: skip this dump! Very poor service! read more

This is the second time I have ordered at the outside window this year. Both times the wait was over 30 minutes and I was the only person there (no line). Both times my order was given to me and it was wrong. First time ordered peanut butter sundae and got hot fudge. This time I ordered a Jim dandy and a fribble. The fribble was strawberry milk. Nothing that resembled ice cream and was warm! The Jim dandy was served to me in a small take out container (the kind you'd put a hamburger in). 2 scoops of ice cream not the 5 it's supposed to have and was dripping out of the container because it was so melted. The manager came over when I said I wanted a refund and offered to remake the sundae in another hamburger container! Unbelievable. Skip this place and go anywhere else! read more

Fantastic service from start to finish. I always opt for the honey BBQ chicken super melt which comes with a sundae for only $9.99. The wait staff is very friendly and fast. They are on top of everything. The food came out quick, even with a packed restaurant they make sure that you aren't just waiting around forever. The food was fresh, tasty and well made with nothing undercooked. Friendlys is well known for its delicious ice cream and it holds up - creamy and delicious with many possible combinations. I highly recommend a trip to friendlys any day for breakfast, lunch or dinner. As a side note; price is very reasonable. Never had a problem like this before. Today the lumberjack breakfast was still pretty good. However the bathroom wasnt entirely clean. A previous customer's butt exploded inside the toilet bowl, and the lock to the bathroom stall was completely missing leaving a very visible 1 inch hole in the door. read more

I am sad to report my experience today was by far the worst yet. My family and i love friendlys and never really have too many complaints but tonight's overall experience was awful. From the moment my son and i walked into the door we werent even acknowledged let alone greeted by anyone. We waited patiently next to the hostess stand for someone to see us, lots of employess walked by without even a we will be right with you or anything. Finally a girl said how many? What's the name? She wrote it down and walked away... ok than! I looked around restaurant was nearly empty so i was confused but we waited without any questions asked for about 15 minutes when we finally got seated where we waited an additional 15 minutes without being greeted by a server. Mind you i watched multiple parties get seated including a big party and get drinks before our server leah (sp) said she would be right over. She finally came took our drink order and went to walk away when i requested to place meal order as well cause at this point we were starving and tired of waiting... minutes passed and still no drinks. Our server walked by multiple times and never brought our drinks over. She had 3 tables and wasnt even busy. I went up to the host stand trying to find a manger but there wasnt one in sight so i asked hostess if she could find me a manager. She looked at me like i wasnt speaking english or something. After her not responding but just staring at me i went back to my seat very confused. Few mintues later our server came with the food but stil no drinks! She said can i get you anything? I said ummm our drinks??? She said oh sorry ill grab them now. She left and i finally saw a manager. I told him about not ever getting drinks and he said he would have them right over. We did finally get our drinks after being half way done with our meals. Server never came to check on how the food was. She only came back after i stacked our dirty dishes up and she didnt even take them. She asked if we wanted dessert my sons came with it so he got one. The manager never came back to check on us and apparently bought our dinner for us which was nice but the server was awful. Being a waitresss myself i am very lenient and can relate but there was no reason for it. She wasnt busy and just seemed to not be with it. Some people arent cut out to be servers and this girl is deffiantly one of those people. So beware of Leah (sp) at this location!
