This a great family friendly place! I was afraid it would be very loud, but was surprised to only hear low conversational murmurings. We were seated as soon as we arrived! Our server, Khia, was very sweet and helped us with menu choices! My husband and I both had the hamburger steak smothered with grilled peppers and onions. It was the best hamburger steak I've had in a long time! It had an amazing flavor enhanced by the peppers and onions that totally covered it! My sides were green beans and coleslaw. Visited Friendly on Saturday mid afternoon. Restaurant was not crowded at all. Has plenty of regulation size pool tables in excellent condition and plenty of TVs for the sports fans. The place was clean and seemed to have plenty of servers (especially for the small number of patrons). My wife and I decided to split the appetizer sampler platter when we were informed that they had no cauliflower or jalapeno poppers due to supply issues. We opted for cheese sticks, okra, onion rings, and macaroni cheese bites. The food was good (not great) and is clearly frozen food that is dropped in a deep fryer when ordered. Obviously none of the items on this sampler were made in house. Came with a small plastic dish of marinara sauce and a small dish of Ranch dressing. Service was slow which is hard to understand since the ration of staff to customers seemed quite high. If you want to shoot pool or watch sports then this a good place to go. read more

I'm giving four stars for the server Christy who always hustles and takes great care of us every single time we are there. She is the sole reason we return. However, if it weren't for her, the rating would drastically decrease. On one of our most recent outings, we arrived at 4pm when they stated they opened. The middle aged, short-haired bartender was one of the most inhospitable people I've had the displeasure of dealing with. She made us feel like our presence and patronage was unwanted. She told my partner that she could not choose the flavor of white claw she wanted to drink it would just be random. !?!? Seriously!? Never in my life have I heard of such nonsense. I put in an order for chicken tenders and it took over 45 minutes to get them. Mind you, we were one of two small groups of people in the restaurant. The kitchen staff was just standing around the grill waiting for something to do. It was so obvious that this bartender did not bother to put our order in. Christy showed up at 5 and everything went smooth as pie. There was ample staff there from 4-5pm yet no one wanted to help us. We had to keep walking over from the pool area to the bar to get awful service from the rude bartender. My suggestion to this restaurant would be a) don't open at 4 if you don't want people in the building. We definitely felt unwanted. b) fire that bartender. She is toxic and is killing your business. I've read other complaints about her. c) promote Christy because she is the image you want for your brand. read more

First, this place has be completely remodeled. It looks wonderful, clean and modern inside. I have eaten there several times. Staff was friendly and service was great. Prices were very competitive. Very disappointed. This place has billiard tables & big TVs all along the walls playing various sporting events. So you would think it's a sports friendly place BUT we were there Sunday watching a soccer match. There were only 5 of us at our table. When our team scored we all cheered & high-fived five each other. This was the first & only time we cheered that day. A short dark haired employee hurried to our table to tell us to be quiet because it was Sunday a church day & we could not be disturbing other people's lunch. He was very rude & confrontational w us. Im sure fans cheer when their sports teams score. If they do not want fans watching sporting events then they need to take the TVs down. We will not be meeting to watch matches at Unfriendlys again. We usually have on average 10 people w us and will be taking our business elsewhere. read more

Happened upon this place by accident and so glad we did. The food was good. The place is very clean and updated. There is a dining area that is separate from the pool tables so if you're just going for food, you will be able to enjoy your meal. The staff is very friendly. Can't wait to go back to try out the buffet. read more

if i could rate 0 stars i would, i came into friendly with a group of friends not having a clue who worked there and it happens to be my ex boyfriends mom that i had legal issues with. when i saw her i stayed clear away from her not wanting to start any problems and i was there for almost 2 hours waiting on a pool table and as soon as me and my friends get a pool table his mother calls the cops on me and trespasses me from the property because she's (lindsay brown) the manager. i would understand if i came in there starting problems but i didn't. i minded my business and stayed away because i didn't want any problems. i'm 17 and i shouldn't be getting banned from a restaurant because of the managers personal feelings about me. also it was very unprofessional because of the workers there laughing as i was walking out with the police officers. this place is just very unprofessional with the way they handle things. read more

We tried this place for the 1st time tonight. We were a party of 5. We ordered the nachos to share as our appetizer. The nachos were good, but not great. We all though the chili was not as good as it could have been, it almost had a sweet taste to it. For entrees we ordered a Southwest Chicken Sandwich, a BLT, a Greek Salad, a Wedge Salad, and an order of chicken tenders. The standout were the BLT and the salads. It would be great if there was an option to add a protein to the salads. The chicken tenders were a little chewy. Our server was in training but she did a great job. read more

Recently started a Sunday buffet which is very good. Wouldn't classify it as a large buffet, but the peel and eat shrimp is unbelievably fresh with great cocktail sauce. The salad bar items are very fresh, the meats are very good with really nice vegetables. For desserts, there are usually 3 kinds of cake and a fresh fruit cobbler. The desserts are wonderful. Although, this is Friendly Billards, about half of the building is for billards, and the other other half is a restaurant. I found the quality of the restaurant to be a very pleasant surprise when we first visited. Highly recommend the Sunday buffet. Btw, billards aren't played during Sunday buffet. read more

Went for lunch, not to play pool. Pool tables and arrangement looks awesome, if you went to play pool. The atmosphere was pleasant as was the wait staff. As far as food.... not so much. We ordered burgers cooked to order. Mine came out medium as ordered as did my wife's medium rare. But the meat was at best luke warm. The beef itself was good quality (not fatty) but had no flavor. The lettuce was more white than green and the tomato more green than red. I had a swiss and mushroom. It seemed the sliced mushrooms came right out of a jar without being sautéed much less heated, and the cheese was not melted in the least. I can say the bun was good and well red onion is red onion. The French fries looked really good, but tasted as if they had been fried with chicken or fish (not sure which it just had a weird taste). The dab of coleslaw was taste but not enough to be considered a side, maybe it was supposed to go on the burger to provide the missing flavor. For $25 bucks (including tip), I expected more than an edible burger. read more

I was in the restaurant Sunday and witnessed the incident that Robin S left the one star review My friends and I had no problem with the group watching the soccer game at first but there was one guy in their party who wouldn't sit He just stood there shouting at the tv But after a short time it became obnoxious I don't mind team spirit but his language crossed the line. If you want to show your ass. Watch the game at somebody's home instead of being inconsiderate of the other people coming out for a meal and conversation. We were half way across the restaurant and your male friend was acting like a fraternity kid who never grew up We are just glad we were not sitting closer. Common courtesy and consideration of others around you goes a long way. If I were the manager I would have thrown the guy in your party to the curb the first time he said something as the manager or owner was walking away the first time and then he continued to do it again when he was re approached. I'm sure the restaurant or the other patrons won't miss your money spent because others can enjoy their experience much more without you there. Next time.....go watch the game at a strip club....at least there people don't mind when people show their butt read more
