I recently returned for my first set of contact lenses, and the entire process was made so easy and smooth by the incredible team. A special shout-out to Rubi, who did my contact lens training. She has the patience and heart of an angel--I know I was a bit of a challenge, but she never once made me feel rushed or uncomfortable. She took the time I needed, stayed positive the whole way through, and made the experience enjoyable. I was so happy to learn she's the front office supervisor--she's truly amazing and such a gem. While I was working with Rubi, Tim noticed my glasses were crooked and immediately offered to fix them--just like that, without me even asking. Been coming here for a couple of years now. There are plenty of glasses to choose from, you have to pay first before even seeing the doctor which is odd, they make you fill out new patient paperwork every time, the waiting area is small and uncomfortable but the Doctor and staff are nice. However upon my last visit, they hired a new employee and she definitely needs training on customer service. She is rude, rushs you through when she takes you back to exam your eyes - gives you major attitude if you ask her a question. Sorry I can't see what you're pointing at, it's dark and I don't have my glasses or contacts on! I had to return to get my glasses fixed and unfortunately, she was at the front desk and again she was cold, unwelcoming and full of attitude. 1 star deduction due this employee's rude attitude. Please re-train her on customer service. read more

The staff here is friendly but they are ALWAYS behind schedule. Between my boys and I we have had 7-8 appointments and have never been seen on time. The last visit, I was waiting for my son to finish and asked to see a pair of locked glasses for myself and even though some folks were standing around I had to wait until my son was done for some reason. Sadly, since they took my son back 45 minutes late we didn't have enough time. Nice staff but it's really frustrating to always be running late. read more

Thank you to Friedman Optometry for another excellent service encounter. I needed to get the lenses changed out in my glasses because I needed a new prescription. So, on the first date, Dr. Levin conducted a kind and thorough optometric exam and Tim ensured that the lens measurements would fit my frames. Today, I came in at the prescribed time, and Tim changed out the old lenses and fit the new lenses in 45 minutes. The process was friendly, super easy, and efficient. It's important to note that I'm usually pretty tight on time, so I appreciate that that the team makes an effort to be accommodating in that regard. read more

I would just like to get on here and thank the Friedman optometry staff for doing an amazing job. I was giving them a little difficult time because I had some questions about my glasses and I called them two or three times asking different questions each time and they all were very welcoming and kind and it didn't seem like they were getting annoyed. The doctor side was amazing! Friendly staff and the tech is great... but the business side is what it is. Cheapest frame was $200 on top of my $100 copay. They would NOT give me my contact lenses prescription and said there would be an additional $75 to teach how to use them. I didn't see any of these costs up front or I wouldn't of paid to get a checked for contacts. My bad. read more

I have a high prescription and she worked hard to try to get me glasses and lenses that worked with my insurance and would also look nice with my thick lenses. I have been going to Friedman Optometry for months now, and the quality of their work is poor. After going back and forth and waiting for three months for my glasses, the prescription is still wrong. They filled the wrong prescription, and the quality of the lenses is very poor. The doctor and opticians are very unprofessional and refuse to fix the work. I have asked for a refund and my old lenses back, but they informed me that they were lost. My old lenses were much better, and I could at least see. They cannot return my old glasses and are refusing to refund me. I am horrified by the terrible work on my glasses I have admitted that personal were very nice especially Jacqueline. She was trying to make me happier I appreciate her help, but I still upset because I still cannot use my glasses I spent time and money for nothing. read more

I went to get new glasses on a crazy busy Saturday & I was extremely frustrated. It turned out they had a visiting optometrist & ended up being severely backed up. Jacqueline, the manager ran out to check on me the moment she realized I was upset. She really has a way about her to put people at ease. I can't imagine how much work it is to manage such a busy office but I was very impressed she took time to personally check on me. The front desk staff can improve but everyone else was excellent & super helpful. I know it's hard to hire certain roles especially after the pandemic so I feel for all businesses. They have a huge selection of frames to choose from to fit everyone's budget. There's a person in the back who makes sure your glasses fit you perfectly...even if it takes 8 tries. The team obviously wants too see their customers happy & it shows. I think the manager being so involved really helps their business run smoothly. I mean, the place is extremely busy & based on all the positive Yelp reviews, they are doing something right. From my initial call to make an appointment, the eye exam, choosing my eye glasses and completing the transaction, each step was executed efficiently and every single person was friendly and timely. Betty assisted me in choosing my eye glasses. I was fortunate to have her aid. She looked at my prescription, asked a few questions and confidently gave me her recommendations, went over my warranty and the best ways to take advantage of the warranty. She also helped me make my selection for glasses. Betty knows her inventory better than the back of her hands.
