I had my first appointment there last summer, and it went well, all seemed fine. Dr. Heikali was thorough, nice and personable. But she left earlier this year (was told to be a full-time mom, so ... understandable) and now, three months later, they still have NO one there to conduct exams. Staff there is very nice, but ... seems they now don't have much to do. Odd that LensCrafters hasn't yet found another doctor for this location. Now I have to find another Dr. and office that accepts my insurance. The location on Pico in West L.A. has a wider selection of frames (but NO parking) as this is just in the west corner of Macy's. BUT I found Best for frames is Speert.com - save $$ and just have your prescription lenses added at a local lab! Total cost was less than the price of any of their frames. read more

Eyetiva was a savior for us. We had an emergency (part of contact stuck in my wife's eye) at 8:00pm on a Monday, and basically everywhere else was closed. Not only did the doctor fix my wife's problem, but did so with a great bedside manor, and at a price that our research indicated simply couldn't be beat. And it's in a mall! How convenient! My friend recommended this doctor to me. I decided to go and see her to get a prescription for glasses. Dr. Heikali is the sweetest optometrist and extremely knowledgeable. She gave me a ton of information about my options for refractive correction with contact lenses and LASIK. After I saw her, I was impressed with the staff. A lovely lady named Tynese helped with try on different frames until I found just the right pair for me! I was so excited to find out I can pay with my Macys card!!! Talk about being accommodating to your customer!!! Yes, I recommend Eyetiva (listed as Lenscrafters). As I was looking near work for an optometrist (to get an eye exam for a perscription at another location), I found Eyetiva and Dr. Sara Heikall at Lenscrafters on Yelp. Out of the many selections, Eyetiva was affordable (less $ than others in the area), they answered questions by phone and were very professional, they have online appointment bookings AND they are open late!!!! I made a 7:40pm appointment so that I didn't have to lose time at work! I had no idea that doctors stayed open late to accommodate the working class. I made the online appointment and that was quick and easy. I then received an email and call to confirm. When they called to confirm, they gave me directions to their store INSIDE Macy's at the Fox Hills Mall. They directed me by saying "enter Macy's and we're on the first floor near the shoe dept". I found ground level parking outside of Macys and I was in and out of my appointment in under 30 minutes with a prescription in hand! Dr. Sara explained everything and didn't make me feel rushed. I paid $75 for my exam without the extras. If you do decide to try them out, don't go inside the mall to the Lenscrafters store or you won't get Dr. Sara and you may not get her prices either. read more

I went to Lens Crafters and saw Dr. Sara Heikali she is The Best optometrist I have ever been to and I've been wearing glasses for 20 years. They have a very wide selection of the cutest frames, all the latest styles, very modern, updated & stylish and guess what you can use your Macy's credit card for your eye exam & everything including insurance. Wow.. You can't beat that anywhere. But, most importantly I received the most professional eye exam everrr. All of her equipment is state of the art. I was extremely impressed. Dr. Sara really took her time and gave me a deep education on my eyes, and made excellent suggestions and provided many options. Oh, and the staff is very friendly too. Super easy parking right outside the Macy's doors. I didn't have to walk through the mall. It's right across from the shoe depot on the first floor. I was helped promptly and taken in for my exam right away. I didn't have to wait around to be helped like at the other lens crafters. Very thorough exam and answered any questions I might have. Very clean and follows Covid procedures. They said you could even use your Macy's card there. I will return in 2 weeks to pickup my glasses. read more

Let me start off by saying that Dr. Heikali is awesome! She's very thorough in her examinations which I really appreciate. Makes me feel like my money is well spent since I don't have vision insurance. I came in my very first time in August for what resulted in being a mild eye infection. I was panicked but after the initial examination, Dr. Heikali had me come a couple of times after that to keep track of the wellness concerning my eyes, which is very comforting. I had another examination this month (November) for a renewal of my contact lenses prescription and I was treated with the same great care as before. What I love about this office is their night hours !!!! I had an exam at 8pm at night by Dr. Heikali when no other place would be open!! She was very caring and super professional. There was absolutely no wait. I had to fill out a health information form and I was quickly taken to the back to start my examination. After my exam, a very nice optician named Manuela helped me choose my frame and lenses. The team here was very helpful in staying within my budget and getting me what I needed. I had been fighting the fact that age is catching up to me and succumbed to the fact that my eyesight is no longer 20/20. A coworker suggested Dr. Heikali to me and told me I would love her so I decided to give her office a try. She was totally right!! Dr. Heikali is the sweetest optometrist and she genuinely cares about her patients. I felt a lot of positive energy from the moment she greeted me at the office. Her exam was thorough and I was pleased to get a copy of my glasses prescription at the end of the exam with her recommendations for Blue IQ and UV protection. I needed an exam after work and I searched on yelp and found this office to be open til 10pm. I thought it might be wrong so I called to double check. The front desk staff Anthony told me the doctor will be available til 10pm and has earliest availability for 6:30pm. I scheduled myself and went in. Everything went smoothly. I got my prescription from the doctor and selected my frames. Anthony explained the different types of lens coatings to me and I got the AR coating. The office was very chill. I feel good about my experience and will be telling my co-workers about it in case they want to swing by after work. read more

I had a very easy and relaxing experience at Dr. Heikali's office. I was pretty amazed by all the latest machines and technology at the office, especially the optos retinal imaging. My cousin recommended Dr. Heikali and I made an appointment for an eye exam. Dr. Heikali is superb and seemed to be very knowledgeable optometrist and very passionate about what she does. She gave me a very thorough eye exam and paid attention to all the details when she's talking to you. She addressed all my questions and gave me glasses prescriptions for distance, computer and near. She also discussed contact lens options for monovision and multifocal which I hadn't heard about before and tips on how to take care of my eye sight due as my job requires long hours of computer work. Apparently if you have trouble at distance and near, contact lens companies have created contacts lens especially for that. I also got my prescription glasses at Eyetiva Optometry for a very reasonable price. I cant be any happier since I have no eye medical insurance. I was pretty WOWed with the great service here! The licensed optician Manuela was very friendly and helped me get all the necessary measurements for my new glasses. I'm a happy customer and I'll be back here again for my annual eye exam next year. read more
