We stopped here on our way home from Pennslyvania. I do not feel i made a bad choice but i am going to tell you how the 4 star experience gets knocked down to 2 stars. when we first walked in the place smelled weird. not pleasant, but i can not tell you exactly what it smelled like. the lady at the hostess stand very nice told us to sit where ever we wanted. we ordered 2 sweet teas and a soda. the waitress placed my sweet tea in the middle of the table. I did not realize it was there and apparently someone the nephew knocked it over. 1 star lost for the smell and who puts a persons drink in the middle of the table. Now what really gets my goat. My nephew ordered the chipotle boneless wings. He did not like them and we were told that we would be charged for another order of the wings. That always ticks me off because I work for a fast food giant and would not charge someone for not liking something. I paid 69 cents for 1 ounce of ranch dressing for my chicken chunks. the food otherwise was pretty good. the chicken soup tasted 60 % homemade. the fries were hot. The chipotle chicken chunks had more of a chipotle sauce than a chipotle bbq sauce that we are used to at our usual hauntss. The service was ok. i just don't think i will be back. read more

When my dad lived in Richmond, Indiana, it was always a challenge to find decent food when visiting. The pizza sucks, the Mexican food tastes like Lalo's (boring) and there are a whole lot of fast food chains. So, one night I want wings. Really bad!!! I look in the phone book and find Fricker's, who like BW3 proudly boasts a similar selection of sauces for their wings. But, they call them "Frickin' Chicken Wings" and have sauces like "Frickin' Hot" and "Frickin' Killer." Pretty "Frickin' Stupid" if you ask me, but hey, the founders' last name IS Frick, so I guess I can't knock it. Unlike BW3, Fricker's wings are served sauceless and also unlike BW3, their wings ARE meaty! I was impressed to find this Ohio based franchise in small-town Indiana. My dad had a ONE POUND Porterhouse steak for $11.99 and it was actually damn good, tender and cooked the way it was ordered! So, if you find yourself frickin' swearing because you're frickin' lost in rural Richmond, Indiana or one of their frickin' 15 locations in rural Ohio, frickin' better frickin' fuckin' stop in for some bitchin' non-shitty wings, damnit! read more

The food = great. I've lived in this area most of my life and have never gone to Fricker's until just last night. I got the boneless wings and was very impressed. They were saucy, unlike the regular wings, but the sauce (Medium) was super tasty and the portion was just the right size. It seems a little pricey considering the atmosphere, but not extraordinarily so. The service = Um. I know we were a large party (30-ish people from the local roller derby team), but I called the day before to give them the heads-up and we all came in at different intervals, giving them enough time to regroup. Regrouping was not in the cards for us, however. We had to ask for refills and silverware several times, and we had about four different servers, none of whom had communicated with each other. They did, however, reserve the proper amount of tables for us, which was nice. I'd go back, but I don't recommend this place for large parties at all. read more

It's your standard sports bar but you surprisingly kid friendly. We saw a lot of families in there. We were suggested their house chicken strips. There was a large variety of sauces to choose from with the strips. I chose the strips and honey mustard. It was reasonably good but not out of this world. We attempted to place an order to go at 3:30pm on Super Bowl Sunday. I asked the young lady on the phone the anticipated time to pick it up. I had factored in the need to order 3 hours before the start of the Super Bowl as ample time to complete our order. She rudely told me to call back at 6:00pm to order. Now, please explain to me how that is remotely better timing. Needless to say we placed our order elsewhere. When my father drove past this restaurant to pick up our food from another establishment he did not see a restaurant filled to capacity. It is a shame when employees take zero pride in their job or understand the importance of representing their employer in a positive manner. We will never spend our money at one of their restaurants. MANNNN. SO GOOD. I got ribs and wings, ribs were tender and perfect flavor. The wings were good, got the lil kicker sauce. Should have had them naked since the breading was bit much but still overall good. I really liked the fried pickles and fried cheese balls. The chili cheese fries were good, but pretty standard. Meal served with applesauce and baked beans and roll. A lot of food for $14. Definitely had leftovers. Great sports bar atmosphere. read more

We were on our way up to Michigan and passed by this place on the side of the high way. There were some rather attractive waitresses working there (ouch don't hit me). However, as far as food goes, it's pretty average. the service was fast and friendly though. Everything was a la carte. No, their burgers don't come with fries. Appreciated friendly service and carry-out was ready on time as scheduled. Meal was not too pricey. Porterhouse Steak, green beans and coleslaw were good 4* according to my husband. Chicken nachos were horrible. Would have sent them back if I was at restaurant and not traveling and on down the road. Nice alternative to fast food places. Decent prices, good food, and sports on TV. Stopped in while passing through. The ribeye steak sandwich I got was large and nicely cooked, and tasty. The person with me got a hamburger and was happy with it. Server was friendly and efficient. On the downside, we got BBQ nachos for an appetizer. Te BBQ was good, but not much of it on the nachos. Stopped in on my way to Chicago. I pulled in thinking it was Frishes Big Boy, only to discover it was Frickers, a sports bar. It turned out ok. I was able to watch the Ohio State game. Never been to Fricker's until today. Our son was thrilled when we can in because The first thing you see is a game room. He ordered a burger my husband ordered the ribs & Fricken chicken chunks and I had the chicken sliders. It was alright. It seemed clean, waitress was friendly. My husband said the ribs were good, very meaty. He requested the hot sauce with the chicken chunks. The hot sauce was not really hot especially if you like things kind a spicy. Our son said his burger was great. He also enjoyed the onion straws with the spicy ranch. He said he would recommend those. I probably wouldn't order the chicken sliders again. Not very tasty and I ordered them with hot sauce, NOT hot all. My husband said yes he would come back. Said he would like to try the big 1lb burger. My son loved it. I was told that this was a chain restaurant primarily located in Ohio. This was my first time eating at one of their restaurants. I ordered what was supposed to be there signature sandwich which was a breaded buffalo chicken breast. The flavor was phenomenal however the chicken breast was chewy. Fun place to go. My wife, daughter and I went on a Saturday night. I used to live close by but rarely went here. They did quite a bit of remodeling and it is very clean and nice inside. It would be a great place to watch a game. My wife had the Frickin Chicken which she loved. I had the Frickin Burger. It was good but I wished I had ordered the chicken. This place is basically a low-class Buffalo Wild Wings. My husband and I met some friends at Fricker's the other night for a quick dinner. It was around 5pm on a Wednesday so the place wasn't crowded at all. The service was friendly - I'd give their service a 4/5. The food though? Ugh. Not so good. We ordered the 20 boneless wings and a side of curly fries to split. We also had the fried cheese appetizer. Clearly, we were asking for a heart attack. The fried cheese was just so-so. I mean, it's cheese and it's fried so you can't go too wrong with it. It was supposed to be a mix of mozzerella and cheddar. The mozzerella sticks were about the size of a baby carrot. And there were 3. Then there were about a dozen of the "cheddar" chunks. Pretty sure it was just american cheese and they were teeny tiny little bites. Seriously, no bitter than the tip of my pinky finger. The fries were okay. Just boring curly fries. They weren't even curly really. Just some curved french fries. The chicken wasn't very good. We got the medium buffalo sauce. It must have been mild. There was absolutely no heat to the sauce at all. The chicken tasted kind of funny also. It made my husband super sick about an hour or so later. I could see the appeal of this place if you had a large party and wanted to drink and watch a game or a fight or something. The food is fairly inexpensive and they seem to have a lot of drink/daily specials. I don't really plan on going back though. read more

I had a tenderloin, fries and a sweet tea. I really like the food. It was good and and the sandwich was big. You have to pay extra for the fries but you get a lot of them. I did not like the sweet tea. I will definitely go back but I will not order the sweet tea. The prices was great and the food was good. I will never eat here again!!! The Pepsi was even gross. It was flat and lacking taste. The potato skins came out burnt and the bacon on top was hard as rocks. I ordered a pork tenderloin sandwich with a side of curly fries. The sandwich was huge and the price was cheap 4.99 isn't a bad deal. They brought it out fast, filled my drink several times, and brought me my bill without much of a wait. The restrooms are fairly clean. Although I did see some gross stains on the sink...not sure what they were but they looked super gross. I'd advise skipping the female restroom if you go there. I did love the food. The monkey fingers for dessert was fantastic. All the prices are very cheap and reasonable. In fact dinner for 2 could add up to only $15, which isn't bad. I give this place a four stars for food quality, prices, and service. They aren't five star because the restrooms are kind of gross. read more
