***Best Suit & Tux rental in So-Cal*** I needed a Tux for a Black Tie event within a week. I knew exactly where to go. The process takes about 15 minutes when you come in and 15 minutes when you pick up to try on everything and make sure you look great before the big day. I am a big guy and needed a size 16 shoe. Not many shoe outlets have my size and Friar Tux Shop goes up to size 17! When in doubt they can have things made to order if needed for your big day. I saw a guy twice my size come in for his high school prom and he was 6'10 and got fitted no problem. The deals are unbelievable and always changing with the seasons. I brought in my son and two of his friends to get ready for prom, and she made the whole process smooth and stress-free for all three of them. I really enjoyed my experience because any other time I would go to a tuxedo shop, or even the last Friar Tux, it was a little confusing and the tuxedo sizes were not right. The manager, Faith, was very helpful and assisted us with everything for me and my groom's wedding, which is going to be in September. I came in and got greeted by Stephanie and she informed me that she is new, but she went and got me help with another associate, Faith (who is the store manager!). I appreciated that from the very start, Stephanie and Faith were very helpful in answering my questions and their prompt attention! The prices are much lower than competitors and I felt comfortable all throughout the process. This tux rental experience was extremely frustrating. The order was completely wrong, which created unnecessary stress for an important event. Instead of taking responsibility for the mistake, the staff still required full payment and failed to offer any meaningful solution or accommodation. There was no effort made to fix the issue, such as finding a replacement or adjusting the order. The lack of accountability and poor customer service made the situation even worse. The gentleman who served us at the Brea store was named Danny. Danny was extremely helpful and supportive! He discussed all the options with my son and explained the entire process. This was important as it was the first time my son had been measured for a tuxedo. He made my son feel comfortable while still keeping me in the process.
