It is a lovely atmosphere to catch up with friends. Our server was polite and well mannered. They have a great lunch deal as well. I went with the Spicy Eggplant with coconut rice - Chinese eggplant quartered and stir-fried in a sweet and savory chili sauce. My friend chose this as well. We also started with the Roti Canai -Grilled Indonesian flatbread served with a curry dipping sauce. This is my favourite dish on the menu. I usually order this. Both dishes were excellent and fresh. I love the flakey roti and the dipping sauce has the right amount of curry in it. The eggplant was tasty as well and perfectly cooked. It came with rice (we chose coconut rice for an extra dollar) and a spring roll. The spring roll was crunchy and filled with veggies. All together a great meal.

We got a bunch of entrees, I honestly can't remember every single thing we got but it all tasted delicious. We ordered the Lemon Chicken Prawns, Crispy Chicken Strips, the Curry Chicken, Dendeng, and a noodle dish that I forgot the name of. I really liked how everything was served family style. Everything I tasted was a hit. I loved the crisp and texture of the Chicken Strips, as well as the Lemon Chicken Prawns. The Curry Chicken was flavorful, creamy, and had a little kick from the spice but it was great. The Dendeng was great too, loved the sauce that covered it. I'm also really impressed by the different veggie meats they used in all of the dishes, they all tasted good. Service was fast and all the servers were so thoughtful and accommodating. We also met the owner and he was so kind. We had a good time at the end getting to know each other. From our time here, we were met with very down to earth people here. I'll have to come back and try their buffet next time. Thank you for taking care of us! We loved it, consider us lifetime fans!

They carry a wide array of simulated meats (serious, there's every kind you can imagine) as well as sauces, spices, dried vegetables, and myriad other ingredients. The simulated meats are all stored in giant deep freezers, making it an interesting but fun experience to pop open the lid of each one and see what kind of delicious ingredients are inside. Since I first discovered this place, I've been back often and have come to appreciate some great staples such as their buffalo wings which are super tasty and the salty chicken strips which very closely resemble the ones from Padmanadi. I always find some great rotating things as well such as sticky rice, vegetarian bao, dumplings and a whole lot of random meat substitutes. I haven't bought their veggie ham or bacon yet but there are tons of things to try for a bigger feast as well. Over time, they have added a couple new coolers which stock more vegan cheeses and some familiar brands such as Field Roast and Daiya. Vegetarians and Vegans in Edmonton are certainly lucky to have a vegetarian grocer and the wide array of options available at Orii will surely fire up your culinary creativity. As a quick note, they recently announced a move to the Oliver area on 114 street so keep an eye on their website for more info on the move!

The toppings were fresh but maybe because we ordered delivery it just didn't have the as much pizazz as I expected. It was still a tasty pizza. For the kids we ordered the cheese pizza. The combination of orange and white cheese was nice, and it was very saucy. The slices were too big for my littles who had to fold the pizza to eat it. And once it got to us that chewy textured dough has just too difficult for them to chew. The beingets were delightful, same chewy texture. Liked the icing and Carmel to dip. I think this pizza place would have been more enjoyable eating at the location and getting the pizza hot and fresh.

What I don't like is that you have to go up and order. Which I forgot about and so I was wondering why no one was coming outside. These types of restauarants baffle me. I went with a friend who had the Kale salad while I went with Korean Hawaiian. It was fantastic. Crust was nice and chewy and housemade kimchi gave it a kick. For starters, we had the crispy yam fries and the Creole crab & spinach dip. Both were very good! I wasn't a huge fan of the chips that came with the crab dip, but honestly, that's such a small thing compared to how good the dip itself was. For mains, we had the chicken fingers and the peppercorn ribeye. The chicken fingers were SO good -- perfectly cooked with amazing breading. I wasn't a fan of the honey mustard, and unfortunately they didn't offer another dipping sauce, but the chicken itself was fantastic. And the ribeye... SOOOO GOOD. It was cooked perfectly medium rare, and the mashed potatoes that came with it were amazing. Definitely one of the highlights of the meal. The décor was great -- very modern and very 109th Street. It has that slick, upscale bar vibe that fits the area really well. The only awkward part was the hostess stand, which kind of puts you in the middle of a very active walkway while you're waiting. The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, though! Huge shoutout to our server Abby, who was fantastic and made the experience even better. Overall, really enjoyed our dinner at Cactus Club. A couple tiny misses, but the food, atmosphere, and service definitely made up for them. I'd absolutely come back!

It can get messy because there's more fillings than bun but don't worry because there are three washrooms to wash your sticky fingers. Seriously I haven't enjoyed a new place in Edmonton this much in a long time. As for the location... Well eventually it might be okay. It's fine during the day. I highly recommend Patricia Street.
