My sister and I have been on a hunt for a good groomer ever since we got our dog. We finally found the right one! Whenever our dog got a hair cut, something would always be off. Her ears would be too long or uneven. Her mouth area would look weird. Her tail would be cut too short, but this time around she looked perfect. Everything we wanted for her hair cut was achieved. She looks so cute with her haircut and younger too. Everyone's been complimenting her and calling her a puppy. She also came back softer than she's ever has and she smelled so good. Javier was also nice enough to squeeze us in. He doesn't take appointments until 12pm and he was booked out all day. However, Wednesday was the only day we could take her. He gets off at his other job at 10:45am which is why he doesn't take clients until 12pm, but was nice enough to schedule us at 11am. He ended up finishing her cut within an hour in a half. Mallory had such a calming and loving manner with both of them, which is very important to me, especially with my Guinness because he can be a little slow to respond to people at first. Our first time...Javier was able to come and was on time for our appointment for our two dogs. He is very kind, friendly and knows how to treat dogs, especially ones who are shy and fearful. He actually sat down in the driveway in order to get our big bulldog to come to him. Aside from that, he uses really great products, and the dogs looked and smelled so clean (but not too perfumy). After my regular local mobile groomer closed due to COVID, we needed to find a new groomer asap to handle our two mini dachshunds. I called around and everyone was swamped with overflow and wouldn't take new clients. I tried Fresh Pup due to the great reviews and was surprised and relieved when they not only accepted me as a new client, but scheduled an appointment to come out within the next few days. Someone cancelled and they came out even earlier than promised. They were on time and professional. While grooming one of my dogs, they discovered a problem with her paw (one of the front paw nails was fractured and threatening to split and come off) and told us immediately. I texted him as well as leaving him messages wondering if he wants to reschedule and I will wait for his call .... and no he never bothered to reply my messages or text , I waited all day for him before I decide to leave this negative review ! This shows me he is flaky and highly unprofessional, if he was not interested in working with my dog for any reason he should not have made the appointment with me and then no show and no call just leaving me hanging all day, and not even bother to call or text me back when I tried to reach him! My puppy is a 6 mth old Yorkie he gets very scared when it comes to grooming his face he moves wiggles nibbles my hands he just gets very scared. When I picked him up he looked n smelled amazing.
