They have a rewards program linked to your phone number to get the coupon prices they offer in store, and it's simple to sign up right at the register. They've got a self-checkout area as well as standard checkout lines, and both move efficiently. They also have an in-store Starbucks, which makes a stop here even more ideal. They offer a pharmacy, a bakery, a floral department, and a butcher, plus a large produce section and a great variety of meats and cheeses for charcuterie. Randalls carries a vast selection of items, including a lot of my favorite brands. I noticed some new St. James tea flavors on my recent visit -- excited to try those! I'll always visit here, since my family lives nearby and this is the closest supermarket. Randalls usually has everything we need!

I've been visiting several different Randalls stores lately to get a feel for the different…read morelocations, vibes, and discount deals. One thing I appreciate right away: they're open until 11PM every night. So if you suddenly need milk, sugar, or something random late at night, you don't have to knock on your neighbor's door in pajamas and make things weird. But what I've really gotten into is what I call "clearance shopping." Randalls has a surprising number of items marked 50% off, usually because they're close to expiration, seasonal, or being discontinued. I've found great deals on sandwich meats, cheeses, chicken breasts & thighs, beef, hamburger, pork, bacon, yogurt, frozen meals, ice cream, and more. I don't have kids, so I'm only shopping for myself, and I've managed to fill my freezer to capacity. Their meat deals can be especially good. They often run buy-one-get-two-free promotions, and if you check the price per pound, they are very reasonable and competitive. In regards to 50% off examples I've scored large marinated chicken breast for under $3, enough 85/15 ground beef for a couple of patties for around $4 or less, and single marinated salmon fillets for about $3 - you easily pay $15+ at the local restaurants here. At those prices, even a vegetarian might briefly reconsider. They also have a solid wine selection with plenty of markdowns and digital coupon deals. I did some research and some markdowns are better than Costco offerings. Downloading the Randalls app is a must because you can clip coupons that come off automatically at checkout. The app also tracks your purchases and gives you occasional rewards, which adds up if you shop there regularly. Unfortunately I find the recent updates version is not as intuitive to navigate and find the digital coupons but the staff is aware of this and are always willing to help you. Now, I did recently read one of those articles saying we should avoid processed meats, donuts, frozen dinners, and fried foods. Unfortunately, Randalls keeps putting many of those things in the 50% off section, and my willpower is apparently also 50% off. Any leftover donuts and pastries are discounted to $1-$2 for a 6 or 10 pack. I mean come on now. Homer Simpson would go nuts and it's hard to restrain myself. I find this location, along with the Mesa store offers the best donut and pastry deals I've seen. The Ben White location recently changed their butchered meat discount from 50% to 30% so I do not buy meat there anymore. The staff here are all very nice, helpful, and professional. I've become a familiar face at this point, especially because clearance items usually need an associate to approve the discount at self-checkout. If you have a lot of marked-down items, it can take a little extra time, but they've always been patient and polite about it. If you go through the cashier it is much quicker. But make sure to keep an eye on the register because system mistakes do happen more frequently than not but the staff are very good about correcting it. Overall, I really like this Randalls as it's a great spot for late-night grocery runs, solid app deals, and surprisingly great clearance finds - which is catching fire as the other day I overheard a dad and his son calling it a treasure hunt. So if you like hunting for bargains, bring freezer space and self-control. Preferably more of the first than the second.

When we moved to Washington state there weren't any for a while but since then... last I heard there are two in the Seattle metro area. We have been to those but we don't live close to them so our visits to those are infrequent. But one evening while on our vacation to Austin we were wanting to go to a brewery but they didn't serve food. So we swung by this Sprouts here and got some of their very fresh and tasty salads and sandwiches to take to the brewery to eat on while we enjoyed our beer. Such a great blast from the past getting sandwiches from the deli section and appreciating the freshness, flavorfulness and crispness these organic oriented sandwiches are. I believe I had a turkey sandwich which was awesome! The small salad I got was great too! It was really great to go back to Sprouts again and enjoy their products once again!

There was even a hint of gooieness that you want from a cinnamon roll. For a dollar and some change it's a great size! As I noticed other people gathering around the hot food line, I couldn't help but decide on getting a plate. I picked up the ranchero bisteak and chicken Tinga and for my two sides, I decided on the plantains and nopales. Both of the meats I decided on were extremely delicious in flavor and the beef was exceptionally tender. I got red and green salsa and it appears that the red salsa is a tad bit creamy, which is not something I've had many times before. It was unique and extremely tasty. As for the green salsa, I have yet to try, but I am sure it won't disappoint. I do want to give this place praise because I have passed it up before, but it is not a place to be looked over. There's so many other goodies in here that you won't find at a regular grocery store so it's definitely worth coming inside and checking out especially if you just want something to do. The people were so nice exceptional customer service. There is seating if you want to eat inside and they were playing good music. I almost forgot to mention how exceptional the sides were. Often times people mess up nopales, but these were delicious.

I misjudged this place. It's been open for quite awhile (replaced a Randall's that wasn't far from…read moremy house), but I avoided it thinking El Rancho probably wouldn't have the things I needed. That is, until one day I needed cow tongues and pig/chicken feet for a Halloween party. I knew just where to go. My first impression was one of slight irritation. I am not shitting you, there is a sign on the door when you walk in that says "NO PHOTOGRAPHY." My immediate reaction was, "Seriously? What is so great about this place that I would want to take pictures?!" And that's when I looked to my left and saw the bakery. Holy Christ in a cake, the bakery looks IMPRESSIVE. There are cases and cases of sweets and pastries, and giant displays with massive cakes for every occasion. They even have a wedding cake display (wedding cakes reasonably priced around $500). I'll be honest, I wanted to take pictures. But I was also on a mission for tongues and feet, and I didn't want to get kicked out. So I refrained. For someone who lives in Texas I am totally worthless with Spanish (never took it in high school), so the signage can be somewhat confusing. But the layout of the store feels pretty intuitive, so it wasn't much of a problem. I prowled the perimeter of the store and drooled over the cafeteria part of it, where they sell yummy-looking tortas and tacos and other Mexican foodstuffs. They have tables where you can sit and eat, and several families with children had gone that route. The prices looked really reasonable and everything smelled delicious. As others have noted, the meat selection is MASSIVE. I had no problem finding cow tongues and chicken feet, though the only pig feet they have are sliced. Bear that in mind if you're looking for whole pig feet. I don't know why you would be, but hey, I was. I didn't see any smoked ones either, which sometimes you can find at the east-side HEB's. All in all I'll be coming back here. The HEB at Manor/183 is a massive pile of shit and is regularly out of things like ground cloves (which I had to pick up at El Rancho) and half-and-half. El Rancho fills the gap!

After reading through all of the reviews, I noticed there were very few photos and realized more information was needed. It should be noted that the name has changed to Super Mercado Los Vaqueros. The store itself is approximately 30,000 ft.² inside and marvelously decorated along the perimeter. Inside only Mexican music is playing and the signs and tags are in Spanish first and English second. As soon as you walk in the door and steer towards the bakery, you will be very impressed with the selection of numerous beautifully decorated cakes and baked goods. Next to the bakery, you will find a hot food buffet where you can get it to go or sit at one of six picnic tables across the way. Next to the deli is a very well laid out produce department complete with one of the largest chili pepper selections I've ever seen. They do have a good seafood selection along with numerous fresh and marinated meats on display. Yes you can find any of the items that you would find at your local H-E-B, but this store has things you will not even find at Whole Foods. I found the employees to be very helpful and attentive.
