The atmosphere is warm and friendly, whether you are in the dining room or on the patio. I'm back in LA frequently now and come to Mazal nearly every time. In addition to the hummus you have to have spicy tahini (or the new-to-me adorable mini falafel and tahini plate). My other new favorite I'll definitely have again is the shawarma oyster mushrooms, air-fried and served on cannellini bean purée with mint chimichurri. Everything is incredibly fresh and delicious.
