Healthy food doesn't have to be boring and Fresh Kitchen is living proof of that! I lived in Tampa for five years and since moving to Orlando I've missed Fresh Kitchen so much! I was very excited when I found out they were coming to Orlando and the new location did not disappoint. It's a beautiful restaurant with great decoration and a very modern feel to it. The food, just like my go to location in Tampa, was fantastic!! The best base is by far the Sweet Potato Noodles. I usually get the kale slaw to go with (The 6 bowl is the way to go btw). The vegetables always rotate with the season but you do have the usual staples, like the mushroom and broccoli (my choices for today). I recommend you try all the proteins, but first timers will be extremely impressed with the tuna and the baked almond chicken tenders. I recommend topping off your bowl with their Holy Kale sauce, it is absolutely delicious! I will be coming back very often, very happy to see FK expanding to Orlando! read more

Fresh Kitchen - 6 bowl with sweet potato noodles, broccoli, mushroom, tuna, and avocado. - New American Near Me - Orlando, Florida

This place is good in theory. It would definitely be better if they came up with a way to order just what you want, without being forced to get some weird combination of foods. There is never a day on which I want two bases. I don't want two different kinds of rice.. Or rice and noodles... Or rice and kale. But I know that I will always be required to pick 2 - or get a double portion - if I get an adult-size bowl. It's obnoxious. The service here is hit or miss. Sometimes the employees are great and friendly. Sometimes not so much. read more

Fresh Kitchen just opened this week, and after looking at the menu, my wife instantly declared we were going there for lunch this weekend. She's a big fan of places that are allergy conscious, and all the gluten and dairy free items and the fact that everything was so clearly labeled was a big selling point to her. Being opening weekend, and lunch time on a weekend, the line was pretty long when we arrived, but it moved pretty quickly. The staff kept things moving along the assembly line which was set up similarly to one of those popular sandwich or burrito places that you all know, and some love. Pick your bases (grains/carbs), proteins, veggies, sauces and they pile it into a bowl for you. You can choose two bowl sizes: a pick four, or pick six. With the four, you choose two bases, a protein, and veggie, and a sauce. With the six, you get the two bases with two proteins, two veggies, and one sauce. Sounds great. The problem is that while everything we tasted was good (all topping out at "pretty good"), most of the options just don't really go well together. The selection for bases included three different rices, romaine, kale, sweet potato noodles, sweet potato mash, or quinoa. I suppose you could probably get two of the same base, but to us at least, none of those combos SOUNDS particularly appetizing. The issue compounds as you start adding veggies and proteins. I wanted a sort of Asian bowl, starting with the idea of the coconut rice and the chia seed tuna poke. The veggie selection includes broccoli, sesame green beans, buffalo cauliflower, roasted mushrooms, roasted brussel sprouts, or braised kale and beans. Sesame green beans might sort of go with tuna, but eh.. kind of a weird combination, and that's the only one that sounds like a remotely good match. But guess what - they were out of green beans. All in all, the food was ok, but the portions were not particularly generous. My four-bowl left me a little hungry, and the bill for the two of us came out to about $24. Fresh Kitchen bills themselves as "chef inspired food", and I think the easiest thing they could do to fix the problems we had would be to create suggested bowls - inspired by their chefs. Create a suggested tuna bowl, or suggested tofu bowl that customers can try as a reliable combination that goes well together. My wife's hype level for Fresh Kitchen went from a solid "OMG" to a solid "it's OK, but I'd rather go somewhere else." read more

I moved to Orlando over a year ago after living in South Tampa for several years so I grew to love all the offerings from Ciccio Restaurant Group. When I heard they were expanding Fresh Kitchen to the Orlando area (my go to in Tampa after the gym or when I just wanted something healthy and convenient), I was obviously ecstatic. Even more so that the first location was going to be in Waterford! I took some of my friends who have never tried it on Friday (11/3) and they all loved it! I usually get the Six bowl with kale, sweet potato noodles, mushrooms, brussel sprouts and a combination of either ahi tuna, BBQ chicken (they add sugar to get that nice char on it) or steak. They only had the Parmesan broccoli but I always preferred the broccolini (when it's available). The employees were enthusiastic and the decor was very vibrant and lively. Other reviews indicate the price points being a little high and portions a little small, but origins of this restaurant being from South Tampa is always known to promote a healthy and active lifestyle. So, I think that's maybe where the portion control stuff come into play, but can totally see people having gripes with that. At the end of the day, I am extremely happy that Orlando is starting to get more establishments with healthy eating alternatives. With FK and SOHO Juice Co. being from Tampa, it makes things even better for me to bridge the gap between my new and old cities. read more

Stopped in here on our way to Target with the fam. Basic bowl concept a protein, vega, sauce, type service. One thing that bothered me was the protein my wife and I both picked (steak/tuna) there was an upcharge for not sure y they jus don't price it right from the jump. Portions were a lil small for the price but the taste was good and fresh. The garlic white sauce was tastey. Probably will hit this place again there is a couple more ingredient combos i wanna try so we'll see. read more

If you haven't tried this place, you definitely should. I eat here several times a month and have never had a problem. The food is good, healthy, and decently fast. The only issues I've ever had are : - the white sauce has pieces of ginger in it that are annoying - the noodles are never warm (sweet potato noodles) - they have two registers but I've only ever seen them use one... All in all this place is 100x better than the last business in this location. I highly recommend the steak, especially if you don't see it out as then you get it made fresh Side note: I'd love for the broth to come back ... so ask for it and look severely disappointed when they don't have it . Maybe enough people asking would result in it not being seasonal. read more

The food wasn't bad, just wasn't awesome either. Plus , it's definitely pricey for a quick service and what you get for the price. My grilled chicken was over grilled and tough. You could not taste the sauce over the char. Though I will say the mushrooms were cooked and seasoned nicely. read more

I love this place! I always get the 4 bowl. Sweet potato noodles, brown rice, parmesan broccoli, and baked almond chicken. And HAND DOWN amazing! read more

Update (7/26): I was treated very rudely by the staff. Left a bad taste in my mouth if you know what I mean. I got a kids bowl add a veggie and one girl rolled her eyes at me and was like, "are you not getting a protein? You can't have two veggies" I was like, "I literally said add a veggie and I'm paying the up charge so yeah I'll have a protein." I felt embarrassed and talked down to and had to wait a good 10 minutes while they helped customers who arrived after me. At least I got it to go. read more

Came here for lunch today! Love love love this place! Delicious and fresh! I ordered the four (kale slaw, sweet potato noodles, roasted mushrooms, and tofu) with your choice of sauce. I chose the coconut sriracha sauce. I will definitely be back!!! Very clean and bright place. Indoor and outdoor seating. Only flaw is that their music was a bit loud, couldn't hear the soft spoken ladies behind the counter. read more

There was only one protein choice at 6:00 on a Friday night. Ridiculous. Had to wait twenty minutes and still nothing. Started losing my patience and demanded a refund. 4 employees were trying to figure out how to grant a refund and still could not figure it out. Not to mention, there were other patrons waiting in online orders that were 30 minutes late. Terrible management and terrible staff telling me to calm down!!!?? I'm calm sir, I just want my food and speak on behalf of everyone that is waiting. WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN. Opened up a dispute with my bank as well since they do not know how to refund someone...ZERO STARS read more

Fresh Kitchen must be my favorite to go place in Orlando! The menu is just perfect! Not too overwhelming, but at the same time you have enough to choose from. Everything I've tried so far was good. I usually order 4 bowls because it has everything you need : a protein, veggies, 2 sides w a sauce. Please, next time you're in WF, go to Fresh Kitchen! It's healthy and tasty! read more

Fresh Kitchen - Perfect! Fresh, healthy and delicious food! - New American Near Me - Orlando, Florida

Fresh Kitchen is my absolute favorite place, I never say no to this place. I typically get the quinoa and kale, with either the parmesan broccoli of the siracha cauliflower (sometimes both) with chicken. All of their chicken is amazing and the steak is pretty good but cost extra, the Italian vinaigrette is amazing and I would defiantly recommend the pesto tomatoes although they are a little bit extra. The food is amazing and this is definitely a place to try out. read more

I go here at least once a week since it opened. I honestly do love this place and always get the four or six bowl. My absolute favorite thing is the sweet potato noodles, Ive tried recreating them at home and it's just not the same!! I also adore the seasonal protein (blackened chicken) right now it has such a nice Smokey flavor to it. My only complaint is they can be wishy-washy on portion sizes. One day it feels like I'm getting the right portion per food item, the next it feels like I'm getting significantly less than normal which bothers me since I come here so often. I one time asked for the employee to put a little more protein since there really was way too little, and he said there will be an up-charge for that, which of course i didn't do. This bothered me since the price already feels high, but other than this issue I've had more recently, I love fresh kitchen. Great place to eat when you're stopping by Waterford read more

FK is a blessing and an answer to my, and anyone else's prayers whom cares about health, macros and taste! The options change from time to time but I think it's a great idea to switch things up and show everyone that food can be delicious and healthy and definitely doesn't have to be repetitive. Fast food more on the healthier side with a lot of flavor and not really expensive if you're one that has a large appetite like myself and orders a shit load of food for a single meal. 66% of the time a "6-bowl" (their largest sized meal) fills me up or close to it for $12-13 read more

Went here to pick up dinner! I got the "six bowl" with sweet potato noodles, sweet potato mash, broccoli, mushrooms, BBQ chicken and steak. Although it was $12 it was delicious! Note: six bowl is $10 and steak costs $1.50 extra. Worth it, in my opinion. Only critique: sweet potato noodles need a bit more flavor. read more

This spot is so good!! I would love to see more fresh options like this open up because it is such an easy and healthy option. I had difficulty putting together a bowl that "made sense" but I got the sweet potato noodles, coconut rice, steak, chicken, baked sweet potatoes, brussels and mushrooms with the coconut sriacha (yum) and the ginger something sauce. Although my bowl was random I definitely enjoyed the flavors!! My only idea would be for them to have a few signature bowls that really blend good flavors together since I had such a hard time picking what would taste good together. Hope to see some locations pop up on the west coast! read more

Absolutely LOVED Fresh Kitchen. I actually visited Orlando in October during the week FK opened but didn't make the opening night. The line was out the door (so you know it's gooooood) I recently visited Orlando for Christmas and had to try it! At first, I thought it was going to be another overpriced, organic food spot but it ended up being pretty reasonable! My grandmother and I went for lunch right before I hopped on my plane to Dallas. We both got a kids size bowl and it was super good + filling! I got the brown rice, almond chicken and broccoli with a ginger sauce (HEAVEN)! I will def be going back when I go to Florida again and grandma said she will go there for lunch without me HAHA! Also, loved their setup/color scheme! read more

I love Fresh Kitchen! Delicious food and it's actually good for you. The bowls are customizable so make yours truly yours. The food is light. The bowl serving size is perfect. Central Florida is blessed to have FK in town! Waterford Lakes and all surrounding towns in Orlando can enjoy great, clean food in a fraction of a time. The chipotle format perfected! Everything from the ambience, friendly staff and delicious food captivates your healthy state of mind. Walked in and had to try their already famous SIX BOWL packed with, - vegetable quinoa and sweet potato noodles - buffalo cauliflower and roasted Brussel sprouts - 2 proteins combined chicken flavors included the citrus - + the raving coconut srirasha sauce. Food was so good didn't even think about a drink so just drank good ol' plain water. For dessert? The delish Zucchini Brownies to die for. Next time you're in the Waterford Lakes area or my people from UCF this is the spot to hang and be guilt free with your buddies. I have always been satisfied with the exceptional food they serve here. The customer service has always been welcoming. Today there were customers in front of me who had a complaint about every step of the way. They treated the employees so ugly, and many employees tried to de-escalate a situation that was just brought on by angry people. However, the employees met and exceeded every standard I could imagine. Even with horrible customers, they continued to try and meet them a good experience. I applaud the employees on shift today. I tipped them what I could, but they deserve so much more. I can't wait to go back again. ALSO I AM EXTREMELY SAD THAT THERE IS NO COCONUT RICE. I LOVED THAT STUFF read more

Was in waterford shopping with the lady for an outfit for the night. Saw signs and balloons calling out FK or Fresh Kitchen so we decided to stop by. Good thing we got there when we did the line quickly grew to past the door. When you walk in think chipotle like line while waiting. Your choices are 6,4, or 2 pack. We decided to go with the six pack so we could try as much as we could. You get s base so we got sweet potato mash, quinoa, and ginger rice. Then added broccoli Parmesan. Then added protein, pesto chicken and citrus chicken. Added some bean salsa and the white and balsamic sauce. Gotta say it was refreshing and tasty. Place smells of cooked veggies specifically Brussel sprouts. We will go back for another meal as there's never enough fresh food restaurants. Very healthy restaurant :). read more

This place is great for when you forget your meal prep or just really want a healthier option to choose from for lunch. The set up is closed to a fast casual like Chipotle where you go down a line and pick your bowl options. Everything is made fresh and is off the chain! I would recommend the house salsa and jalapeño dressing at the end for a chicken bowl with lettuce and sweet potato noodles! They also have some cool pressed juices and craft soda to select from as well as some cold coffee/almond drinks that they also serve as non-dairy. If your having a sweet tooth that day, you can also try their yummy zucchini brownies. read more

Everything I've ordered from Fresh Kitchen has been remarkable, and the best part is it's all-natural and great for your body. You can choose two bases, from sweet potato noodles to quinoa salad. Then you pick two seasonal veggies to throw on top. Followed by two proteins, including the always delicious Almond-Crusted Chicken, and perfectly grilled steak for a slight up-charge. Okay I LOVE this spot, I was coming bi-weekly at one point and I recommend it to everyone but I will say, the quality of the food is not consistent. Sometimes I get it colder than room temp, other times it's super fresh, and I've had it burnt before too. I love that they're organic, non gmo, no sugar, but for the price I'm paying since they are a bit pricier than similar style restaurants I wish they'd be better at providing 10/10 food always. read more
