I came here on a quest to keep my keto diet while in town for a conference. I love the concept and was excited to try the cauliflower potato mash which theoretically should slash the carbs by half. I got steak and broccoli and the sriracha sauce. The steak took an extra 7 minutes and when it came out it was Lukewarm as others have complained. The up charge for cheese and almonds is pushing it. The bowl tasted good--not great. I would love for them to try a full cauliflower mash. It would taste even better than potatoes-i promise. For those on a strict low carb diet they have a kale slaw you can try for your base. I also had the zucchini brownies made with almond flour. It was undersweetened which I absolutely loved cause it means it's low carb. Will come back! read more

They don't disclose their calories on any of their menus both online or in person. Hmmm....

I've been curious about this place since I initially saw it was moving into a location I had enjoyed food at before. I had no prior knowledge of the brand or the types of food they offered, which made it a little confusing upon entry. My mother and I were immediately greeted and asked whether we knew about the style of cuisine they offered, when we responded with a 'no', we were given a quick explanation and asked if we had any questions. We both went with the 4 bowl which offers 2 sides, a protein, a veggie, and a sauce. An initial problem presents itself in the form of a "What out of the options will make the best bowl?" There's no pre-set combinations, which leaves guests to discover what may or may not go well together. A secondary problem was noticed when we went to choose items in the 'hot' plate area, the food is a bit charred from possibly sitting too long in the cookware on the heating element, though interestingly enough, none of the food could be considered hot in temperature and it was mostly lukewarm. Drinks were labeled as 'natural' soda and teas, pretty standard. Dining area was bright and clean, with retro style stools, chairs, and booths in a vivid teal color. Tables are a quaint pink rose laminate design, with green grass edge borders. Definitely a better layout than the last restaurant that lived in this space. Bathrooms were clean and brightly colored in a pink and tropical seeming design. Pricing is a bit high for the standard of food and lack of options. Portions in the 4 bowl were of a decent size, leaving an adult satisfied and not overfull. Overall, I'd eat here again to try a different combo and if I was in the mood for the flavors offered, but it wouldn't be a first choice. Based on what you choose for your bowl, this could be considered a healthy option. read more

Fresh Kitchen - 4 bowl - BBQ Chicken, Buffalo Cauliflower, Sweet Potato mash, Perfect Spice rice, Coconut Sriracha sauce. Drink - Strawberry Kiwi Tea - New American Near Me - Orlando, Florida

I come to fresh kitchen once in a blue moon when its convenient. However my last experience gave me so much anxiety. I know most girls would allow a man to pay for them but i asked the cashier to not let the guy in front of me - whom had stalked me at the gym - pay for me. I felt very uncomfortable because i did not know this man at all and i felt obligated to say thank you and have a conversation to a man that i tried to avoid.. The next time i came the same cashier i had the previous time let my friend pay for my meal. Again, i asked her not to let my friend pay for my meal but she ignored me and said "i wish someone would pay for my meals." I am extremely grateful but id like to have the decision to pay for my own meal. read more

I love fresh kitchen. It's like a healthy chipotle! I've been here twice now. I really enjoyed the roasted mushrooms, the BBQ Chicken, and vegetable quinoa. I love that you can pick different sizes depending on how hungry you are. Both times I've eaten here I've left feeling full and satisfied. Their food was so well seasoned and I was surprised how good it tasted! read more

I was struggling between a four or five star review for this one but I can't think of one reason not to like this place!! It is quickly becoming one of my absolute favorite lunch spots and each time is a brand new experience with the number of options they have. Their vegetables also change with the seasons so it truly seems like endless opportunities. I'd list off my favorites but I haven't had something I didn't like yet. The drinks are a great treat as well, super flavorful but not over bearing my sweet! I will echo what another user posted and hope they add butritional info soon! But honestly, it tastes so good and fresh I'm certain it won't matter what it says! read more

It's nice to have healthy eatery options when you are out and about. Fresh kitchen allows you to build your own bowl by picking a base, veggies, protein, and toppings/sauces. My daughter had a bbq chicken bowl and Did not like it at all. We threw hers out. I had a tofu bowl that was good, but nothing to write home about. I may return if I'm in the area, starving, and not wanting to eat fried fast food, but I don't foresee myself having a craving for what Fresh Kitchen has to offer. read more

Welcome to my new favorite place to eat at Waterford! I think they went through a huge rebranding because I remember going to FK when they first opened and was, frankly, underwhelmed. But this new line style not only works for me but it makes eating healthy accessible to everyone! I got the 4 bowl, which was plenty, with the romaine salad mix, sweet potato noodles (amazing), Parmesan Broccoli, BBQ chicken (loved) and the balsamic dressing (delicious). They had a lot of options if you are gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, whatever floats your boat! Right now I'm trying to eat healthier (and cut carbs) and when I had to meet a friend at Waterford I knew I could get an amazing meal here. The decor is gorgeous with rose printed tables and just an overall fun, laid back atmosphere. If you want to introduce someone to eating healthier without having to deal with someone being pretentious- bring them here! Already made plans to come back with the boyfriend read more

I was honestly obsessed with Fresh Kitchen for a while when I craved their food every day of the week. It is one of the customizable concepts, but their specialty is healthy foods. I absolutely love the decor around the restaurant with plants everywhere; it makes it look more welcoming and relaxing. The speed of the line is great! Since they only offer bowls and everything is already prepped and just needs to be served, the line moves pretty quickly. You have a choice between 4 or 6 and each has a preset amount of base, protein, veggie, and sauce. If this is your first time trying, do a 4, that way you don't have to make too many choices. My favorite base is sweet potato noodles. They so delicious! Another tip, if you don't want any veggies, you can substitute it with a base. I am not a huge fan of how their veggies look on a line, but they are fresh and crunchy when you get them in the bowl. They do change the options sometimes, so you might not always get what you like. As of protein, it is hit or miss, sometimes you get a fresh batch of chicken, and sometimes it is dry and tastes like it has been sitting for a while. The steak though has a lot of flavors and very tender. If you become a regular, try all of the sauces they offer, they are all good, and have a nice flavor profile. They offer healthier soda and a nice variety of teas. Overall, I love this place. I do think it is pricey, especially if you get a steak(+$1.50) or avocado(+$2.00) on your bowl, but I do feel good about eating there. So if you are tired of burgers & burritos, come to check this place out. read more

Fresh Kitchen - Bowl - New American Near Me - Orlando, Florida

This place was amazing. I wish there was one close to me. I had a chicken bowl and ate in. Then I grabbed a steak bowl to go and ate later for dinner. Everything tasted awesome and fresh. Some of the best food I ate while in Florida for a few weeks. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You basically go through the line and they build the bowl for you. You get a base (like greens or rice), veggies, and then some protein. They had some cauliflower and potato mash that I tried and it was the perfect base for the steak. Healthy and delicious. Give this place a try. read more

Yum! Ordered a four bowl and chose quinoa, broccoli, sweet potato noodles, and chicken teriyaki. Everything is pretty much chilled except for the proteins. I loved the more healthy options that are offered here and so does everybody else because this place was constantly busy! Service was streamlined so the ordering process was straightforward. Menus are available at the entrance, up above the kitchen, and by the register. Drink options are plentiful from aqua frescas to fountain orange cream soda! My only drawback is the saltiness of some of the items. I kind of expected the teriyaki to be salty, but for quinoa salad it's abnormal. Anyway, great meal option to have for the area! read more

I love this place! They serve quality, fresh food at a good price! If you want to start eating healthier, this is a good place to start. There food has flavor and there options are things I've never tried or even things I wouldn't normally want to try, but they make it taste fantastic. I love their house made teas and lemonade, definitely must try at least once! The siracha sauce with the almond sauce is amazing! The decor is just perfect, I love there colorful, happy vibe. Fresh Kitchen has been here for years and never gave it a second thought... was shopping in Waterford decided to give it a shot verse driving across the street and fighting the huge line at Chipotle during the lunch rush & i was pleasantly surprised! Food was fresh and great quality left feeling full but not in that gross fast foodie way... The BBQ chicken is amazing! This place has become a favorite of mine! read more

Fresh Kitchen was really good! Not too much my style, I'm more of the unhealthy living kind of girl but nonetheless they were pretty good. Prices are decent for the food that you get and I really like that everything is right in front of your and it's fresh. Which is why it's called Fresh Kitchen right? The mash potatoes was really good as well as the coconut rice I had(definitely) different that's for sure! The teriyaki chicken was full with flavor and I had the green beans, my friend like them. I didn't, but I don't like Veggies to begin with, so take her word for it, she said they were really good! All in all, great environment good for a quick sit down, try to catch up kind of Getty with a friend or just to chill and have a quick bite. Really cute and trendy. read more

After trying bolay I had to give this place a shot. It is basically the same thing with a slight variation in options. I came in around 7pm on a Sunday night, thought it was really cool they're open until 10pm on Sunday's. The place wasn't too busy and I was helped right away. I went with the grilled citrus chicken, baked almond chicken, roasted mushrooms, kale salad, Parmesan broccoli, and brown rice with the holy kale sauce. Everything looked fresh and smelled great. The citrus chicken was juicy and flavorful and went really well with the kale salad and holy kale sauce. The almond chicken wasn't even dry for being baked, and the roasted mushrooms wow. Everything was delicious and the price was fair. I'll definitely be back for another bowl! read more

I absolutely love this place. So fresh and healthy. You can't even tell it is good for you as it is so good tasting. Seasonal items that they put in a 4 or 6 item bowl with sauce on it. You will love FK. read more

Food is good. Nothing like it around. Wish they would have more variety. Also a bit inconsistent at times with the quality, but generally a good. Update 1/5 Encountered a situation where they were out of an ingredient. I did not want double of the only other base I get so I continued on an mentioned that I wanted the mashed, that they were out of. I mentioned it and instead we moved my bowl to a kids portion. The employee dumped the pasta back into the pasta bin and rescaled out my "1 spoonful". Found it to be unprofessional. As a result I'm left with a kids portion, paying a nearly identical amount. Disappointed. read more

I love this place. It is a routine stop for a quick dinner that is tasty and a healthy option to fast food.

Love this place! Went to the St Pete location last year and was excited when they opened a spot in Orlando! Pick a base, pick a veggie, pick a protein, and add any extras. Gluten free options too. The portions are awesome for the $$ - if you get the larger sizes, can make multiple meals. My only tiny criticism is that the to go containers are a little flimsy and plastic (not sure if they're eco-friendly). Good spot for a healthy meal. read more

Fresh Kitchen is one of my favorite quick lunch places to stop during studying breaks or meeting up with friends. It's quick speedy service, aesthetic, and gluten free/added sugar free menu options is what keeps bringing us back for more. Here's how it works: first you're greeted by such a cheery and colorful atmosphere, then once you're in line there should be a small fridge towards your right hand side. In this fridge there's usually samples of their zucchini brownies or paleo cookies, you MUST TRY it; they're both delicious but the paleo cookies are my favorite, you'll want to buy some to take home. After you've had your quick little "amuse-bouche" then you get down to business, deciding how you are going to build your bowl. Bowls come in either 4 or 6, the 4 includes: 2 bases, 1 veggie, and 1 protein. The 6 includes: 2 bases, 2 veggies, and 2 proteins. Then there's choices of toppings for an additional price and different sauces. My usually order includes: a 4 bowl with: sweet potato noodles, coconut ginger rice, broccoli, and pesto chicken, topped with feta cheese and creamy white vinegar sauce. I've changed my order time and time again, but I always fall back in love with my first original order. The sweet potato noodles are cold almost glass noodle type of consistency and they are served in a sauce that has a bit of spice to it, which complements any bowl. The coconut ginger rice has a hint of sweetness, which makes it very unique, but I must say I've never noticed any ginger. The broccoli is roasted with Parmesan... need I say more? The pesto chicken, is a grilled chicken covered in a pesto sauce, which I didn't find super noteworthy... but it's still my favorite protein choice they offer. Finally, the feta cheese, I feel completes the bowl; it adds a saltiness and creaminess that really offsets the other flavors. At the end you can choose a sauce, which I feel can be pretty hit or miss. I usually get the creamy white ginger, which is good but again... nothing to write home about. The main reason why I have given Fresh Kitchen a 3/5 is the lack of nutritional information. I've searched online, and every time I have gone in I've asked for nutritional information and am always told something different as to why they don't have any available. For today's visit I was told that "they only have 5 stores open and they're only able to get nutritional information once they have 10 stores open" ... I'm sorry what? I'm not really sure how that makes any sense, since I've been to "mom and pop" places that do offer nutritional information and they certainly don't have 10 stores open. So for me that is a little sketchy, seeing that they're so proud to claim: "added sugar free, and gluten free" but have no nutritional information available. Will I keep grabbing a quick lunch at fresh kitchen? Yes, because it's certainly a healthier option that other places. But in the future I think it would be really beneficial to have some nutritional information available. read more

Finally! A 100 percent gluten free kitchen so celiacs and gluten-sensitive peeps don't have to think about what they're ordering or worry about cross-contamination! The food feels healthy and tastes great. The staff is extremely accommodating. The person next to me in line wasn't able to eat oil and they made something fresh to accommodate their diet. All with smiles. Super fast, courteous service and this place caters! Next party I'm throwing, I'm down for that. read more

Nice new addition to the Waterford shopping center. I'm having issue reviewing this place because while I liked it, I wish I could tweak it a little. The idea is great, and most of the ingredients for bowl selections are good- they just aren't amazing. What they are though is pricey. The new joke in our house is, "want to go get a $20 bowl?" This is because on my visit I put together a bowl, which really in my opinion wasn't very large or intricate, was $20 with a drink. Yeah... same reaction I had. This was due to the tuna being and extra cost, as well as the avocado. I'm okay with paying extra but when I get a bowl, the same size as other bowl places, and I pay triple, it's a little shocking. Again, I like the idea of this place and yes the food was fresh and tasty... just not $20 fresh and tasty. read more

Fresh Kitchen is like Chipotle but way healthier and tastier. They offer bowls that start at $8 and allow you to choose from meats that are growth hormone free and everything that's gluten. dairy and sugar free. I came in and ordered the 4 bowl (4 ingredients) which includes 2 Bases, 1 Veggie, 1 Protein and 1 Sauce and costs about $8. The 6 bowl allows you to choose from 2 Bases, 2 Veggies, 2 Proteins and 1 Sauce for about $2 more. I got enough to fill me up for what I paid and felt so good when I ate it cause it's just so damn healthy. My bowl came with their BBQ chicken, coconut rice (which was sooo good), sweet potato mash, parmesan broccoli, and then sauced it up with coconut sriracha. Everything in the bowl was so fresh and flavorful. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who's looking to eat healthy on a tight budget. This place offers so much for so little. They are in the works of opening another location closer to downtown Orlando (SODO district). read more

I always love coming here if I'm on the East side of town. There was no turning back after I had those sweet potato noodles. Although I don't eat a lot in general, I always get the 6 Bowl so I can split it between two meals. Who doesn't love two meals in one. I tend to get all of the least healthiest items like the almond crusted chicken but it is so worth it. I hear a lot of people order the holy kale sauce. If you eat really clean then you should try that sauce. I am a creature of habit so once one food selection works for me, I tend to always go back to that. I can recall coming here at least 5 times this year. You won't be disappointed. read more

When i was a little more lax on my diet I saw this place and was like.. fresh ... why do i want to have fresh diet food devoid of flavor so I never gave it the chance. Someone later forced me to go so i obliged them so that I wouldn't get thrown out of the car. Now I am thanking them for introducing me to what is becoming one of my favorite counter food service places. Ever single thing that you can choose from is just absolutely delicious. Every thing you pick for your bowl ( of which there are a ton of choices for those frequent eaters) tastes like it was made minutes ago... because in a lot of cases, it was. If foods that look healthy, but taste delicious are something you seek out, look no further. My only complaint is that there isn't a location across the street from me because i would probably eat there multiple times a week. read more

Great fast healthy food in the Waterford lakes plaza. They are pretty expensive for lunch but I think pretty reasonablr for dinner I mean even though it's kind of like the same but feels like its worth it more. There are a couple options for the customers. There are the different price points for amount of meat and sides you like. If you want steak or tuna poke it'll cost another 1.50 extra on top of what ever option you choose. Stuff like that adds up. The taste are flavorful with different spice uses such as curry flavors or having things roasted without using much fat. It's sometimes worth it to pay not to feel like crap after eating read more
