Don't feel like cooking breakfast at the camp site again this morning so we drove 10 minutes to get here. They had a dozen flavors of bagel. I had the Sun-dried Tomato with bacon, cheese and egg, it came out hot but I couldn't taste much sun-dried tomato on the bagel. Hubby had Cinnamon Raisin with sausage, cheese and egg. It was much better! Wished we could add something extra like pickled onions or jalapeños! Overall glad we've had this option in the area! read more

This little gem of a breakfast spot serves up fresh, delicious bagels at a decent price and with friendly service. I'm from out of town, but every time I stay with my brother, I make a stop here in the morning. The cheddar and everything bagels are my go-tos and they never disappoint. Add some bacon, egg, and cheese, and you have yourself a fulfilling breakfast. If you like crispy bacon, ask for it "well done" and they'll give it a little extra cook time for you. There are various booths and tables inside, so plenty of seating, and folks don't tend to hang around for hours, taking up tables while typing on their laptops or anything. The coffee is decent, but they're served in carafes, so sometimes you get fresh, hot coffee, and other times you get cooler dregs. They'll refill the carafes if you ask, but right now that's the only thing this place is missing to make it 5 star in my book. read more

If I could give this place 0 I would. Made an order over the phone and upon picking it up seeing I am missing an item. I go back to address my concerns and they told me I wasn't charged for it and I needed to place another order. I ordered a Taylor ham egg and cheese on an everything bagel and then a separate order of strawberry cream cheese on a bagel. Why would you put strawberry cream cheese on a Taylor ham egg and cheese? Instead of making things right they dismissed us and asked to order again even though it was their incompetent employee. Will not be coming back. Ridiculous. read more

Way to expensive. Over $2 a bagel....thats over $12 bucks for a half dozen. Bagels are good, not always the best selection. Obviously struggling business. *Front case of salads/cream cheeses are empty *Herr's rack empty (usually a sign of super busy or haven't paid their Herr's bill and not getting restocked til the bill is paid. *Chairs up on tables like they're closing 3 hours early (which they do often close early) *People are super friendly and super slow. Sandwich they were making for the 1 other customer did not look fresh and took forever. My Egg was dry and more like a premade patty they heat up, bacon tasted old. The bagel was the only good part, its a good NY style bagel. I regret no driving a little further to my favorite bagels shop. Will never make this mistake again! Go to The Original Hot Bagels Chestnut Hill Rd in Newark if you want excellent NY Bagels @ $8 a half dozen and $15 a dozen AND their sandwiches are cheaper, fresher, and fuller. THE BEST BAGEL PLACE EVER. The ladies are the sweetest people ever and always remember my order when I come in. They are super helpful to allergies and they clean the grill off every time for me for my dairy allergy. I go here about 3 times a week and my order has been perfectly made with love each time. Super friendly service. Decent variety of bagel and spreads, all made in house. I had the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich and my husband had the steak, egg and cheese sandwich. Both were made to order and quite substantial. The sign says "no public restrooms" but customers can use them. They are large and clean. read more

Just came from here and my Bagel was pretty decent like a 8/10 I wish they toasted it a bit so my juicy eggs didn't soak up into the bread making it a tad bit soggy. Nice establishment, friendly staff, and amazing bagel sandwiches... My favorite is the scrapple, egg, and cheese. Coffee is solid and it is right around the corner from my sister's house. I found that these are the best bagels in the area. The bagels and cream cheese are wonderful. Their breakfast sandwiches are delicious. For lunch I have only tried the chicken salad on an onion bagel, and the chicken salad was fabulous. By lunch time they are often low on bagel choices. The only thing they really need to improve on is the coffee. It's not very good, so grab some juice or stop by a coffee shop if you are picky about your coffee. read more

I love this bagel shop, I get an everything bagel and lox everywhere I go when I travel, especially NYC, heck even abroad, and this is one of my favorite places for it. They're bagels are fresh, perfectly doughy, they're cream cheese is perfect, I get the scallion one that's creamy with specs of scallion in it. The customer service is great, I think it's a lady and her son, family owned business which I fully support and they're smiles and effort to make great food keeps me coming back as a loyal customer. read more

I have tried on several occasions to buy bagels here. The bagels are fine but each time the service was lousy. One time I had to wait until the woman finished her phone call. I looked at her, she looks blankly at me while she continues to talk. Maybe she figured since I was the only customer in the store I didn't even rate a smile or a "be with you in a minute". Not sure how long the call went on but it was not as if she was trying to wrap it up quickly. The next time I tried them the service was prompt but the workers must be told not to smile. read more
