We joked we could go back and just order several potstickers appetizers and be completely satisfied. But seriously, everything was very good. We got the King Kamehameha share meal. The Kaluha pork was moist and well flavored. The poke had a bit of hot spice which I love. They have several types of slaw to choose from. The place is cozy and plan ahead if you want to dine in since there are only three tables.

We found out that the kitchen is technically closed from 2-5pm, but they could still serve some limited options. The food is pretty good. I didn't know what to expect since it had been years since I had Hawaiian food. My cousin and I both had the combo plate which was their chicken and pork dishes. Yum!!! The serving was very generous. It's plenty of food for two, so we each had to take some home. I love leftovers! This restaurant is small, casual, cozy, and warm. They also have specialty items on their shelves for purchase. Plus awesome Hawaiian shirts! The people who work there are lovely - very friendly and accommodating. Overall, I was happy with everything and really dug the vibe. I will definitely be back!

Well shit, no wonder this place is nominated for a James Beard Award. I'm literally still thinking…read moreabout all the good food 24 hours later. It's actually shocking I've only just made it here because Ca'Lucchenzo has been on my to-go list for years. Lucky for me, my girlfriends planned a dinner to catch up and one of them chose this spot. Hot tip: make the reservation. Those go fassst! We went on the Tuesday night and it was full, with repeated table turnover. Delightful atmosphere. Very cozy, with warm tones, dimer lighting, and thoughtfully curated Italian'esque decor. Loved that there is a whole area where you can look onto the from-scratch pasta being made. However, that's over in the dining room and we actually sat on the bar side. There's maybe a dozen seats wrapped around their full-service bar, and then a small high-top tucked behind, where we sat. Our server, Malichai, new allllll of his stuff. When I tell you this menu is so clearly planned with immense detail, and changes pretty much daily, but this man knew every thing there was to know. We found that to be so helpful because as first timers it's hard to know what - and how many dishes - to choose. In the end, we landed on a handful of picks from the antipasti section, which we're all great shareable sizes. And then of course we needed pasta, so selected two of those to share as well. Can I recall what each dish was? No. Can I recall everything being extremely flavorful and enjoyable? Absolutely! From goat cheese and white asparagus, to creamy potato ravioli and the most insane/delicious focaccia of my life... we all noted how great every bite was. Oh and the drinks + dessert selection lived up to the hype too. I had a citrusy gin cocktail, and we finished with some sort of hazelnut chocolate cake. 10/10. Super duper excited to bring my husband here. He appreciates the craft of good food and boy that is what this place is alllll about.

The host was brilliant saw I was in a walking boot put down a wine box for my leg. Service was a big slow. The dinner was almost like 1 hour and 45 mins, there is quite some time between courses. Ambiance was cozy, it was quite busy for a Thursday night.

I would have liked the curry more without it. If you want to dine-in, it's a buffet only, but it looked really good, and especially if you aren't sure that you'll like Thai, Vietnamese and Laotian foods. Regarding parking for those with that anxiety, it ca be tricky. It's on a corner, across from a very popular liquor store. I suggest, if possible, coming in North Ave, heading EAST, and parking across the street from it. There's always parking on the side of North Ave. There is also parking on North 60th, but expect to walk a block or two. Good neighborhood though! Go try to this family owned business!

The lunch buffet is a huge selection of different Asian food mostly Thai. Spice levels are normal because they have all of the condiments on the side so you can amp yous up with heat. The first plate of food we got was cold and it wasn't from the one cold buffet. We politely told the waitress who at first didn't believe us. More people complained and they fixed the issue. The food quality and variety was great but cold food definitely takes away from the experience. I need to come back on a more normal day and try this again. The Tom Kha soup was hot and very tasty so it's worn a return trip.

We had a group of 8 and were seated right away on a Wednesday. We got there in time to order a few $5 apps from the happy hour menu. We all liked the elote fritters! The walleye and crab cakes were also good. We all tried something different. Between the NOLA Salmon, Ahi Tacos, Shrimp Cobb, Spicy Pasta, and even the cheeseburger sliders. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. They even brought out an Apple Pie for my dad's birthday! The only complaint I had is it was very slow. From ordering, to getting our food, and the longest wait was for our bill. With a 1.5 year old, we were eager to get going but waited about a half hour after finishing dinner to get the bill. Prices are pretty fair for the quality and quantity you get. Definitely would still go back, just not if we were in a rush!

Meh. But sandwich was solid. Others had chicken and waffles and double smash burger. Both were clean plated. Chicken and waffles were huge too! Surprised my bud finished them. He's like one of those thin people that could do competitive eating if they had a long distance version. Not speed just long steady stuffing that surprises you how much they can eat. Will come back. Try the menu. You will have mehs but you will have hits. Once you've been a couple times you will learn what's good for you.
