I stopped by here for lunch one day, I got one of their poke bowls and a side of lumpia. They have an option of fish to pick for your poke, I got their shoyu tuna, then you can pick if you want rice, salad, or half half. I got full salad and also came with a seaweed salad and crab salad. Flavor was good overall, fresh fish. The lumpia came with 10 pieces, lots of carrots in it mixed with some meat. Nicely fried and crispy, went well with the sweet chili sauce. Overall, good food.

Spicy Tuna Poke Bowl

My office has had this truck come a few times. I've had their poke bowl twice now. So I can in good conscience write an informative review. Color of the truck is inviting as it has bright colors and is just attractive. Really catches the eye. The people who run the truck are always pleasant and welcoming. They have a pretty good assortment of items on their menu. I just can't help but order the poke bowl because I'm a poke fan! The bowl is a great size. You can either choose rice or salad or half and half. I go half and half (for an extra fee). You get a considerable sized scoop of cubed spicy tuna. You also get a good scoop of seaweed salad and imitation crab. Everything is fresh and vibrant in color. I just wish they had wasabi. I'm sure I will order my same ole pole bowl next time they come. Then again I saw that sometimes they feature a poke nachos and use fried wontons as chips. Now that's my jam!

I ordered the spicy tuna bowl, half rice, half mixed greens with extra sea weed salad. This poke bowl was delicious the portion is decent & very filling. The spam musubi & lumpias were calling my name but I didn't give in. I'll have to try next time.

Overall, pretty good poke - tuna was not fishy and very flavorful with hints of sesame oil, but this brings me to one of the drawbacks which was that it was on salty side. Would also say some pieces of the tuna were kinda watery(?) not sure if it was from the defrosting process or the sauce getting absorbed. Good point on the rice - it was actually cooked well and not mushy like a lot of poke places! And the slight warmness of the rice complimented well with the other cold ingredients in the poke. The seaweed salad was also very crunchy and satisfying to eat. The ube cheescake was great as well - surprisingly not too sweet - the coconut flakes were good touch as well :)

Tried the fish and chips while attending the Los Gatos art and wine festival. Service was quick and efficient, the wait for my food about 10 minutes or so, and the worker gave me everything I needed (condiments, napkins, fork) without hesitation. The food was freshly made, served hot, the fish lightly battered and crispy on the outside, tender and flaky inside, and tasty with the tartar sauce it came with. The fries were really good as well, cooked to the perfect crisp, and just had really good flavor, without saltiness. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

Tuna shoyu bowl and macaroni salad

Fresh Catch Poke was at my work and I finally got to try the poke truck know around the bay! And I would definitely order from them again! One of the biggest reasons I was so fond of the truck was due to their large menu. Alongside poke bowls you can also get a tofu, chicken teriyaki, or kalua pork. There's an option for everyone which makes it a great truck option! I opted for the tuna shoyu bowl that came with imitation crab and seaweed salad. I loved the bowl because although it was simple it was delicious and filling especially for the price! I also tried the macaroni salad and LOVED it. I will most definitely be ordering it every time. Can't wait to order from them again soon!

So disappointing. This food truck was at SJ Made Fest and there was a bit of a line, but not miles long, so we chanced it. Big mistake. Lines are telling. First off, it's a food truck at a festival so it's wildly expensive. Fine. BUT it's not even good!! The fries were like they were made from frozen (not necessarily not tasty, but not worth the price and also not crispy). The rotten cherry on top of the cake was that one bite of tuna led to a hard icy center. Absolutely threw me off. Would not come back.

So let's start off by saying 3 stars means average. Decent prices at around $17 for poke bowls and quick turnaround. The lumpia tastes funny. It had a really weird plastic and flour aftertaste like it was fried with plastic or something. Really odd, we couldn't pin it down. Their kalua pork is dry and so is their macaroni salad. It doesn't have enough mayo and is basically cooked macaroni with a lot of pepper. The poke needed more flavor and the rice is a bit dry.

Love a good fusion truck. I've seen mixed reviews about the fried seafood they offer, but I definitely recommend the poke -- really good, nice amount. The kalua fries were even better, topped with some fruit it's great! Definitely follow them on IG to catch where they'll be next.

Stopped by when they were parked in front of Hapas brewery, I got their lumpia and poke fries. Their poke choice was ahi tuna, either spicy or not, I chose spicy. The fries have crab salad, seaweed salad, and mango salsa on them. I normally am not a fan of mango salsa but I honestly loved theirs! The poke was so good, it was definitely fresh, and I loved their lumpia too.

Non spicy tuna Poke bowl with rice as its base. Tuna was so yum.

3.5 stars to be specific. I feel generous because the food is very attractive and delicious. Fresh Catch Poke came to The Ring Central Coliseum and my brother and I wanted to try out the championship plaza with the food trucks. My brother immediately turnt his head to the Poke bowl images and got intrigued without hesitation. I love the images used for this little business. Makes me want to eat and invites me openly. Extra points for that, it's difficult to do, but there's always something on the contrary. When arriving I had to ask where the queue started and who ordered and what it because everyone seemed scattered and no beginning of the queue. I glanced a bit inside and two hardworking people were inside, I believe they were both the only ones. There was a patron in front of me as an individual was calling made orders. When the little flock parted ways , orders were being performed again. Service seemed good as it should. Prices are moderate for what they are but a little more on the high side. The poke bowl was really good. It was so minimalistic but yet had bursting of flavour. I had the non spicy tuna and I think there's a lot of flavour in there. The rice was a bit over cooked and that's not a fun feeling. But that was around two to three lumps. Lumpia Shanghai was delicious. Nicely done and crispy with a party of flavour and with some sweet chilli sauce. I had a nice meal seeing one of my favourite baseball teams. I would totally recommend if you have the palette for this cuisine of flavour and part of the world. I would come back again. My brother enjoyed it as well.

If you're looking for a catering food truck for a small lunch window that delivers high quality and very quick service, I HIGHLY recommend Fire and Rice. Their Hawaiian Asian fusion menu is unique and stands out compared to other Asian or poke trucks I've tried. The garlic shoyu chicken and tuna poke were my personal favorites. I tried some of my coworkers garlic shrimp & Miso tofu too...surprisingly pretty GOOD! With inflation being what it is, their food is absolutely worth the price, and they were also flexible and willing to work within our reasonable budget. I can't recommend them enough. For catering inquiries, It was a little difficult getting them on the phone so we played phone tag a lot. I suggest texting or emailing Micah or Jessica for the quickest response, as they're often busy on the truck or during service.

Thankfully this turned out to be a solid choice for pizza and they do the concept justice. It's not as saucy of a pizza, but they do well with a crispy crust and the flavorful toppings. Their signs hadn't been updated for pricing, but it was 8" for $13 and 12" for $19. Our number got called up pretty quick so we didn't have to wait very long for the pizza to be done (5 minutes tops). Some pepper/cheese packets available for additional toppings. The whole thing was given to us in a pizza box which made for pretty easy transport at the market. It's actually nice they they're not as sauce heavy as other pizza spots (I can't actually partake in tomato anymore, so the fact they had options for me was neat too). We settled on the Chorizo for a more cheese-heavy and tomato free experience. Toppings were very fresh and the bottom/crust had a nice airy crispiness that made it worth eating to the last bite. Had a medium amount of heat to it with the jalapenos, but not too much without them. Remarkably flavorful and really well done (the little chorizo bites were quite popping, but so were the cheese bits). Definitely grab something from them if you're on the hunt for good pizza on the go.

I was pretty excited by the reviews and the Mexican fusion concept, but to be honest found the pizza a little bland. Honestly the meat was flavorful and the amount of stuff they put IN the taco was acceptable given the price, however we did wish the tacos were put on the griddle a little longer to crisp them up a little more. I'd say they weren't perfect, but they definitely were worth the $ and tasty. Consume: Wish they gave you some when you order x amount of tacos like other places, but hey, it's understandable. The consume was pretty heavy handed in (I think) cinnamon and cloves (?). Not that it wasn't good, but it just wasn't what I wanted. It complimented the tacos very well so overall it was good but not great. Horchata: Delicious! smooth, cinnamon-y and just overall good. They executed this extremely well. Torta: OMG this thing was BIG. It looked amazing on the pictures on the truck and it looked amazing when we got it, but it looked better than it actually was. I'd say overall, the looks was a 5/5. The taste was a solid 4/5. Still very tasty, but didn't think it fully hit the mark. Service: The only two people in the truck were SUPER nice and very accommodating however there were a couple of issues on their end. 1) My total was $29. I gave the cashier $40. I was handed $9 back. After saying that I was shorted change, awkwardness ensued. It was an honest mistake and they gave me the right amount back so I just shrugged it off. 2) When I picked up my food, I ordered 1 Taco, 1 Torta, and 1 Combo (3x tacos, 1 Consume, and 1 Horchata). The person who gave me the food didn't give me the Horchata or Consume. Again they were VERY accommodating but I think they need to work out the kinks of their ordering. Overall, a good birria taco truck but with some logistical issues. We'd maybe go back but with so many options, we'd like to try others before coming back here.

Even during peak hours when the place is packed, I've never waited long to be seated, and the food always comes out quickly. I've worked my way through their menu: doner wraps, kebab plates, and a variety of sides; and every single dish has been a hit. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. The consistency here is impressive, which is something I value highly in any restaurant. I already loved Mediterranean food, but BAHO's Turkish offerings really surprised me. Fresh vegetables, bold and flavorful sauces, and perfectly seasoned, savory meats come together in a way that feels both comforting and exciting. Keep in mind that the doner wrap is served in a bag because it can get messy, but if you remember those old Carl's Jr. commercials: "If it doesn't get all over the place, it doesn't belong in your face". If you're lucky enough to be helped by Boris, you're in great hands. He's incredibly kind, hardworking, and clearly takes pride in making sure guests have a great experience. An excellent introduction to the menu that hooked us. Since then, I've brought my wife, friends, and family here, and every single person has walked away impressed.
