I wasn't planning to leave a review, but I really feel compelled to share this experience…read more I submitted a request through Christy's website on Saturday for a cake I needed the following Friday. I didn't receive a response until the end of day on Tuesday. I also called her bakery multiple times and had no answer or response-- for 4 days! By that point, I already found another bakery to handle the cake, but had I waited, I would have been left in a very bad position. As a fellow business owner, I don't say this lightly ~ the level of communication here is pretty unacceptable. It takes legit, less than a minute to acknowledge an inquiry and set expectations. A simple "I'm totally booked out" or "I'll follow up" would have demonstrated basic professionalism and respect for a potential client's time and energy. When someone goes out of their way to find your business, fill out your form, and actively try to give you money ~ silence and negligence send a very clear message about how that effort is valued. You haven't earned a client here-- and maybe that doesn't matter to you, but word of mouth is the best form of advertisement, and that matters. My response to Christy's response: It takes less than a minute to fire off an email, or simply answer your phone. There's no such thing as "Easter Monday"-- it's just Monday. When someone reaches out with a clear deadline, a quick acknowledgment isn't optional-- it's expected. Even a one-line response would have been enough for me to plan accordingly.

I was planning my niece's Sweet 16 party and had a specific theme I was aiming for. Delana designed everything to match down to the T! I had ordered a 2-tier white chocolate raspberry cake which was delicious and was annihilated in a matter of hours. I also ordered a dozen cake pops and 2 dozen cupcakes. I didn't get a chance to try the cake pops but I'm guessing by the crumbs and sticks left behind - they were a hit as well! One of the things that I appreciated the most was Delana's commitment to making sure she was delivering everything we asked for - from the design to the flavor. We kept an ongoing dialogue about the details from the time I booked to the delivery date which sort of helped this control freak's nerves. It helped reassure me that everything was set and ready to go the way I had planned. For a party planner that goes a long way! I know there's a lot of local bakers in the area but considering the price and quality, this place is definitely one of my top picks. Why spend 3 times as much and not getting exactly what you want?

Chef Fleming arrived in Las Vegas from Denmark and worked as a pastry chef in a casino for some years But that was not his calling. The menu is enormous - everything from cookies, specialty cakes, cupcakes, sticky buns, Napoleons, eclairs, cream puffs, bread pudding, and on and on. This was exactly the experience I expected and wanted and needed. We came in our own crowns, and I'm honestly a little regretful because they have a whole collection of appropriate crowns, hats, and headbands to enjoy your tea as you should. The teas, The Teas! so many to choose from. You can smell them before and decide on 2. so beautifully presented in the most adorable of tea cups. In fact, a whole cubby room of tea sets to see! And the menu is delectable. I don't know if the menu changes, but as of this posting, it is the same I had. I won't say there was a stand out dish; It's a stand out experience! I guess my complaint is I couldn't finish it there, enjoying these unique surroundings; but in the other hand, plenty to enjoy later at home. I need to mention our hostess, certainly Fae- (I'm so sorry I've forgotten your name)- a flittering, fluttering bright spot to the day. Hare, Hatter, Caterpillar in one. I might have imagined her but there every step of the way to let us know what was happening, explain anything that needed to be explained and what was next. Of course it ends with a photo shoot on a throne with props! The little store is adorable and sells the teas and fancy tea thingies. it's always hard to tell how big a space is, and it is fairly small, but perfect for any high tea birthday, girl's day out, club meeting lunch, just because. You pay when you reserve because the food is prepared fresh to your reservation. My biggest regret is not stopping Chef as she passed through to say hello and thank you. Thank you, Chef, you and Fae, for an absolutely lovely experience. And one last thing, and most important to me, an incident did occur that needed a human heart and compassion, and they met that with grace I had a wonderful time and absolutely loved this experience and have shown off my High Tea pictures when someone had asked how I've been this month

**Review for Megan (Wedding Baker Extraordinaire!)**…read more From the very beginning, Megan went above and beyond. She was *literally on vacation* when I first reached out, and despite that, she made every effort to help me plan a custom wedding dessert menu. That alone told me I was in great hands--someone who truly cares about her clients. I tried to leave her alone as much as possible (she deserved her vacation!), but she was always so kind and responsive. Her sample desserts were absolutely gorgeous--I was instantly excited and confident that she'd deliver something amazing. And she did not disappoint. On the day of the wedding, Megan showed up right on time and took care of *everything*. I especially loved that she offered decoration rentals--it made such a difference knowing she had every detail of the dessert setup handled. It gave me such peace of mind. Bottom line: I LOVE Megan. She's professional, talented, thoughtful, and just a joy to work with. Highly, highly recommend.
