I'm so glad I found Delana at Sassy N Classy Cakes! My mother's 80th birthday had come upon us and being new to Las Vegas I had no idea where to go for a cake..not just any cake but a special cake for a big celebration of an amazing person. I visited a few local bakeries but I didn't connect with any of them. So, I scanned yelp and came across Sassy N Classy Cakes. I gave them a call and spoke directly with owner/baker Delana. I told her what I had in mind and she said "no problem!" and asked that I send her a pic. Delana also recommended some of her cake pops and brownies so I agreed. The day came for me to pick up the cake and goodies. A bit nervous here but, when she showed me the cake I was blown away! Just beautiful! And exactly as the photo! The pops and brownie bites were just as pretty! The true test was when we cut into the cake... it sliced perfectly! Didn't crumble, not sticky or undercooked. Just perfectly moist and delicious. I live in California and had thought I'd be able to be in Nevada with my dad today, which is his 82nd birthday; due to the pandemic, last minute it turned out I was not able to make the trip after all. As a result, I called the owner of this bakery on a lark after scrolling through Yelp yesterday evening as I was frantically looking for a way to get a birthday cake to my dad. She was so kind and despite me calling in the late evening, offered to create some cupcakes and deliver them today (less than 24 hours from my order).
