Best dry cleaner in town. Good value and great service, we take items there every week and always happy with the results.

I usually use the dry cleaner to launder shirts and have light starch added. For this Frenchy's is a decent value. On my last visit I gave them some items for dry cleaning. The four items totaled around $40.00. Along with the 10 shirts this made the bill $75.00. I paid it and this is the last time that will happen. I will be back to my usual place that charges half the price. The Cost of a dress to be cleaned was 11.50 which was a lot! I always bring the hangers back to help as well. read more

This is not a one hour cleaners. I needed a suit dry cleaned for a wedding at 4 PM today and it's 10:15 AM now. I was told they will not have it ready until Monday... WHAT? I assumed they were going to let me know that the equipment was down or something of that reasonable explanation. However, the manager let me know they stop doing dry cleaning at 9 AM on Saturdays. This is definitely not advertised on their website and why are they called One-hour cleaners if that is not what they do as their regular business model practice? I drove all the way out from Chandler to this Tempe location for this service. Very disappointing! read more

I'm a big fan of this place. Hey, it's not much to look at, but the owner is super cool, and the pressing by her staff is very good. Who wants to get their clothes back (and men's suiting) with wrinkles pressed in?? I have gotten that from other supposedly high-end places. Unless you request it faster, dry cleaning usually is done by tomorrow after 2pm and laundry the day after. This is not an inexpensive dry cleaning place, but it's probably middle of the road, and they have never messed up my clothes once... read more

I brought a brand new shirt here, never worn, out of the package and straight to the cleaners. It came back with a brown stain on the collar. They cleaned it a second time, the stain won't come out. THE CLEANERS put the damn stain on the never worn shirt. I'm traveling out of state tomorrow, no time to start over. I guess I can throw this new shirt in the trash. Here's this One Hour Martinizing franchise location in a brief sentence: good cleaning and reprehensible customer service. So, here's how my experience with this dry cleaner went down. I tripped and fell into some mud and soiled my suit and shirt. I needed to get my suit cleaned quickly for job interviews (it is my new favorite suit and the only one I have that fits well), so I decided to give this cleaner a shot since I'd had a good experience at other One Hour Martinizing locations in other cities. I dropped off my suit, pointed out the soiled areas, and hoped for the best. TO THEIR CREDIT, the person to whom I showed my soiled shirt did advise me to try washing my shirt with OxyClean before I paid to have them clean it. Anyway, I went back the following day to claim my suit. Again, to their credit, it was done on time, and once I finally got it home, it was nice and clean (though to be honest, a dry cleaner returning my clothes clean is not something particularly remarkable). It was during the pick up process that things hit the fan. I usually only carry my AMEX, and apparently they don't take AMEX. I gave the person working the drive-up window my AMEX, and after a couple of minutes, she came back and told me they don't take American Express. Frustrating, sure, but I guess I can see a merchant not taking a particular card. I didn't have any cash, but I offered to write a check. To my dismay, the clerk told me they didn't accept checks, DESPITE HAVING A NICE BIG SIGN ON THE WINDOW SAYING THAT CHECKS ARE ACCEPTED! At this point, I calmly explained that I didn't have a current ATM/debit card (I was waiting for a new one to be delivered from USAA - my online bank), but I again offered to write a check. A couple of minutes thereafter, I was told to come inside to talk to the owner. I asked for the owner to come talk to me in my car since I had a brace on my ankle from the aforementioned fall, but it turns out she was on the phone, not in the store. That's when things really took a turn for the worst. The owner of the store first chastised me for not carrying cash and for using American Express because AMEX is bad for small businesses. She then lectured me for still using checks because, according to her, it's the 21st Century and people don't use checks anymore (though apparently cash is still in vogue). She then told me that they would keep my suit, and if I took it without paying, that she would take it out of her employee's pay (which the employee confirmed is the case). Time after time I tried to reach some kind of agreement with the owner, but she refused to let me take my suit. She wouldn't let me leave some other collateral and return to pay with cash when I got my ATM card, and she would accept a check. She told me that I'm not a customer she knows and that she believed I would bounce my check. My problem with this place isn't necessarily that they don't accept AMEX or checks, but is rather with how they handled the situation. When they took my suit to clean it without addressing payment methods and then subsequently discovered that I didn't have one of the limited payment options they accepted, they were inflexible and uncooperative, and frankly, downright rude and insulting. I made a good faith effort to work something out, but was refused. To make matters worse, they refused to accept a check even though they had a sign posted that they accept checks! I left without taking my suit since I didn't want the owner to punish her employee. Thankfully, I was able to find a Visa card from a bank I no longer use that I keep around for emergencies and was able to settle my account with the owner. Still, it took a couple of hours to get this all worked out, and all the while the owner berated me and threatened her employee. This was a terrible exercise in customer service, and I won't be going back. read more

One hour martinizing it is not. If you need it in an hour they can't do it. Their excuse? It's only their name! Hey, what do you think you'll get if you went to a place called "one hour oil change?" Brought in at 10:30 and they couldn't even have it done in 8 hours. False advertising. read more

I don't have much to say about dry cleaning but I use these guys a lot. They are quick, not to expensive and have been able to get out some stains for me and add on some buttons. The fact that they have a drive thru is very convenient. I am probably not an expert on the subject but for me they get the job done. read more

When my niece was married she got a few stains on her gown. She was very upset and thought that her gown was permanently stained. We took the gown into Judy and her staff where she cleaned the gown and now it looks like new. While she will most likely never wear it again we are all ecstatic. the charges were very reasonable. And Judy put the dress in a storage box so she has a place to keep her gown forever. RELIABLE, FRIENDLY, AFFORDABLE! I have been going here for years. When I moved to SE Chandler, I could not find a dry cleaner nearly as good. The drive to Tempe is worth it! The employees and owners are so friendly and professional. I have used them for alterations, mens dry-cleaning, womens dry-cleaning, delicates, competition uniforms and bedding. I have never had anything other than exceptional service. They have a drive-through which was convenient when I had small children. My kids now grown and gone so I prefer to go into the shop because I am always treated with a smile and quick friendly conversation. read more

I had nearly $1,000 worth of clothes stolen from this place! The story that I got was that a woman I did not know came into the shop while my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary, claimed my items, paid for the dry cleaning, then left with my clothing in-hand. Apparently, the dry-cleaning employee did not ask this woman for the claim ticket number. Why not? Instead, according to the employee's testimony, this woman somehow knew my wife's cell phone number. Unbelievable, to say the least. One might even say preposterous. Because the owner did take the incident seriously, my wife and I did learn the culprit's name, who neither of us knew, despite having the same Hispanic surname as me. In addition, the owner gave a description of this woman based on security camera footage, which we did not see, but which the owner described for us. Nothing sounded familiar. As for any compensation for my stolen property, when I pressed the owner for her policy regarding lost or stolen items, she only stated "I don't have one." Consequently, I have to replace the stolen items out of my own pocket. At this point, it's been about five weeks since the incident occurred. My clothes are clearly gone for good. I did file a police report for whatever that's worth, probably not much beyond having done my civic duty. So, will we ever return to this establishment again? In spite having patronized this business for several years, we feel that we're better off cleansing ourselves of this place. Unfortunately, this disturbing episode has left a stain on our relationship with this place that no amount of dry cleaning can ever remove. read more

$50 for dry cleaning five dresses? Way too high. One of my dresses that I had cleaned here had the bottom hem stitching completely fall out after I brought it home and put it on. Not sure if that happened there or before, but the price alone will keep me from returning. There's just too many other dry cleaning options in Tempe that are more affordable. read more

The jacket would have been finished about 24 hours later but I waited a few days to pick it up. The cost was $6.75... In and out. I found this place via Yelp, never been to this establishment before. Let me tell you about this establishment. I was met by the lady in the picture below, who I am assuming is the owner. Completely RUDE. Was impatiently with me even after I told her I have been been here before and it's my 1st time. Was rushing me to figure out when I wanted to pick my items up. Then just told me anytime after 1pm and walked off! I get there to pick up my 2 items and the lady tells me $10.95! For 2 shirts! Are you serious! Well I have to change my review. The first time I went the service was good for a cheap price. Since then the prices have fluctuated. Once I was completely overcharged. On this visit I had requested 2 items dry cleaned and the rest laundered. When I came to pick them up 2 extra items were dry cleaned instead of laundered. It was the manager who took my clothes so I'm assuming she decided she would choose what to dry clean and launder. This ended up costing me an extra 8 dollars. Plus I was overcharged for the laundered shirts. I didn't automatically write a review until this morning when I took my suit jacket out to wear and it is covered in little white hairs! I do not own cats etc so I know it is from the cleaners. Gross I have no choice but to wear it today, but I will not be back. read more

This is the best customer service I have ever had at a dry cleaners. I was in a bind, needing my dry cleaning finished the next morning (about 12 hours later). Despite coming in late in the afternoon, the owner understood my particular situation and guaranteed my items would be ready the next morning at 9. I've used One Hour Martinizing since I moved to Tempe 4 years ago. They always do a great job, and have my dry-cleaning done usually the next day. I recently got married, and several of my bridesmaids flew in from out of town so they shipped their dresses to me before the wedding to have pressed. The press-only option Martinizing offers is great, and the dresses looked perfect as always. I'm writing this because one of my girls brought her dress in her suitcase 2 days before the wedding. It was totally wrinkled, and Judy and her staff had no problem pressing it for me Friday morning while I waited. I have used their one-hour turn around service before, but I was so thankful they were able to help for such a big event too. Wow. What amazing service! The tailor handed me the suit my son was going to get married in and told me she doesn't clean or press clothes. These folks stepped in and bailed him out.
