I've been frequenting this laundromat over the past five years and it's by far the best in the area. I commute to this location because the machines consistently work, there's always someone onsite to help, they are incredibly friendly and when you really just need someone else to do your laundry for you they make it easy and convenient. They just got new machines, the place is incredibly clean and it's just a reliable spot. It is really affordable too compared to some in the area with worse quality. Maybe they should have working fans and keep the AC a little lower. ‍ it's coin only-they have an ATM machine and a change maker. Bathroom never has toilet tissue. Laundry baskets are awesome, they allow you to bring it to your car to fill up and unload. The sidewalk is receded so it's easy to slide in and out. There are two entrances. Staff is always cleaning and are attentive. Biggest gripe is the mosquitoes like what the hell. And the fans don't work consistently. I think the location lends itself to the upkeep as it's near ASU. Ideal location (limited parking in the lot), clean and the staff members are friendly. After a 5-day trip beach camping, I had no plans to wash all those towels and clothes and with the help of a fellow Yelper, I told myself this would be ideal for a drop and go... The staff member on hand was really helpful as I haven't been to a laundromat in YEARS... I called ahead to make sure they wouldn't be closed and arrived around 9:30pm on a Sunday night. Note, prices are slightly higher on the weekend drop-offs, but I wasn't about to come tomorrow. The prices are a bit high but haven't compared them to any other locations. As I looked around, I like that they have large loaders to accommodate all your stuff so coming in here to knock out 5-6 loads in 90 mins is definitely worth it. The towels are what hit me in the pocket as I was coming straight from the beach and they are soaked with sand and water... I also put in some clothes and when all was said and dropped some serious coin to get just over 50 lbs of stuff washed (average of 1.60/lb... I'll let you do the math) The one issue is that I came home with some extra clothes and was missing a few socks. I have been going to this laundromat for a few years. The girls that work there are super friendly and helpful. I witnessed today an unhappy customer who had white residue on all of her 2 loads of dark clothes. She complained and asked for a re wash. The nice staff said she cannot help because she has to get permission from the owner. It took 45 minutes for the " owner" to get back for a "no" they would not rewash her clothes for free. My challenge with this is poor customer service and a staff person is so micro managed she can't make a simple decision to make a situation fixable. I will not be returning here because of how they treated their own staff and the customer. Again this was just what I witnessed. I also own a Tempe business and I would have made this customer happy and so would my staff. My staff knows how to please a customer to make sure my business continues to thrive. Dang it...thought I found a great place for reasonably priced dry cleaning (have never used the washer and dryers here, so can't and won't speak to that). I've been bringing dry cleaning items here periodically for the past few years. I recently picked up a silky dress I dropped off and upon arriving home, there are still stains in the dress. This has never happened before, so I was surprised. Decided to drive back and ask if the item could be dry cleaned again since it wasn't clean. The worker at the front desk called Tina (who is presumably the owner or manager, not sure which) and I spoke to her on the phone. She said "Yeah I know which dress you're talking about. The cleaners said they couldn't get the stains out and tried everything." I asked Tina to describe the dress she's talking about as I was skeptical she actually remembered the dress itself. She described a "cream-white" dress. Mine is a shiny gold....I asked again about trying again because clearly this isn't the dress she's trying to pass it off as. Nope! No dice. Not willing at all to even reconsider. Tina said "it's at an expense to the dry cleaning company" which is obvious...but shouldn't your clothes be CLEAN after dry cleaning? Especially a dress that ONLY should be dry cleaned? Also, checking my receipt from my initial drop off, the cost I paid to dry clean the dress was $9. Meaning it probably only is $3 or $4 for the company to dry clean the item and the rest is profit. Unfortunately, I'm not comfortable continuing to use their services if they won't back their items (and tell lies to their customers to try and convince them the item can't be cleaned). Tina has lost my business over $9 :/ P.S. Eco Laundry outsources their dry cleaning to a third-party. No clue where the third-party is located. It hadn't been an issue before now! Would have been nice for Tina to call the people who actually dry clean and let me talk to them directly instead of making a decision on their behalf about a totally different dress ("cream-white" is TOTALLY DIFFERENT from shiny gold)...... read more

And voila! I found this place, there are plenty of parking places right in front of the laundromat, and there are a lot of washers and dryers in different sizes. A medium sized washer was perfect for my comforter, it took about 25 minutes, and in the meantime, I went for a grocery shopping. They allow you to keep your things in the machine as long as you find it on the same day. Cool! And the facility is super clean and spacious. read more

My family & I live in Scottsdale and our house is currently being renovated. We've been renting an Airbnb location in the interim which has no laundry facilities on site. We decided to use this location that is owned by one of my daughter's former ASU classmate's family. My husband and I along with my 8 yr old son & 12 yr old daughter (all in masks to prevent the spread of COVID) visited this site carrying in 4 loads of clothing. We set our laundry baskets on one of the tables not being used and my children sat down near the windows. My husband ran outside to the car to retrieve his laptop to work remotely in the interim. I needed coins for the machines so I approached the coin machine. The front desk girl, that had just witnessed my family enter the building, approached me and stated, "You have to be a customer to get change." I responded, "Yes, thank you." and proceeded to insert the $20 bill into the machine. It spit out my bill. She repeated herself and then immediately walked back over to the desk. Less than 30 seconds later two individuals quickly approached me at the coin machine. One adult man & one adult woman. The woman, who was immediately hostile, said "Are you stupid? She told you already that you cannot use this machine!" She was fairly close to me, so I took a step back, unaware who this person was. I thought she was an irate customer. She was fuming and her stance was defensive. I asked her, "What business is it of yours?" She said she was the owner (Owner Last Name: Staletovic) and was "tired of you people coming in to get change." I then told her that approaching a customer & name calling was highly unprofessional. She interrupted and said, "You are not a customer! You just walked in for change!" At this point, my kids walked over to me. The man put his hand out & touched my son's chest to stop him from coming close to me. I grew livid. I told them both to back up & if either of them put one more finger on any of us that I would call the police. I pointed at the table with our laundry baskets and asked them if they thought I would cart in four baskets of clothing in an effort to ONLY use the coin machine. She replied, "Those aren't your clothes! You just walked in to use the machine! Call the cops! They'll probably shoot you anyway!" I was appalled. My husband re-entered the building and came right over and asked me what was going on. I told him that I was being racially profiled. (It was obvious.) The man looked at my husband and said,"All of you get out! I'm tired of you blacks always saying we're racist when you guys are the ones that come in here for change & NEVER use the machines! We don't want you here!" I told them both that we decided to use their facilities because we remembered our eldest daughter mentioning that her old classmate's family owned it. I asked them if they had a daughter that graduated from ASU. They looked at one another briefly before the woman yelled, " So what! Get out!" It was obvious the owners were not in a position to have professional nor calm communication about anything! Clearly after being accosted immediately upon arrival at this business and having unwarranted assumptions drawn against us my husband & I decided to get our things & leave before it escalated any further (on their end). They just didn't want my BLACK FAMILY in their laundromat. We took our business elsewhere. This is a notice to ALL PEOPLE OF COLOR: Do NOT give your money to this establishment. The owners are unprofessional, hostile, belligerent and racists! They DO NOT deserve your business!! I also discovered that their Google & Yelp ratings may be padded with false reviews because we found several 5 Star reviews by the owners own daughters & several other former mutual classmates & friends of my daughters. Clean and large laundromat with larger capacity machines if you need em. They have vending machines for detergent, fabric softener, etc. in case you don't have them with you. There are change machines as well as a person on premises that can give you change for larger bills if necessary. They have free Wi-Fi to pass the time. A regular wash was $3 and the dryers were .25 for each seven minute increment. My only suggestion would be that they get more seating indoors or benches outside so that people can relax while they wait for their laundry. read more

Starting off by saying this place is expensive. Yeah, having a bathroom with a hand dryer is a perk, I'll admit that, but paying for a wash that doesn't really rinse your laundry (very visible soap suds during rinse cycle) and dryers that are unable to dry a t shirt in 16 minutes when set on high heat is ridiculous. It is March 4, 2021. 9:40 pm. I'm taking the time to write my review in the parking lot since I didn't have time to dry my clothes til the duration of the business hours. The young lady working was really rude. She closed half of the section of the laundry to clean and mop which is phenomenal. However when I went to the front of the store to fold clothes, there was cleaning supplies on the folding board. I go back to the back where the dryer section is. The border of the barrier happened to be RIGHT where I was drying my clothes. I moved one of the folding carts literally 2 feet to barely give me room to fold my clothes. She addressed me very rudely. Then she processed to dimming the lights as im folding clothes. There was NO warning that she was closing. She just rudely said we had to leave. The time was about 9:20 something. Google says clearly that it closes at 10. Think about it. If last wash is at 8:30, why wouldn't we have time to dry and fold really quick. She warned us about last wash which we put at 8:15 and if she gave us a window for that, why wouldn't she warn us about us being able to stay and fold our clothes. We didn't argue. We decided to bring it here so that everybody can see. We were left to hang, pun not intended. on top of that, the clothes wasn't even dry. Horrible. This is the worst dry cleaning spot in Tempe. Gave them a bunch of my clothes to wash and dry clean and specifically told them to hang dry my clothes instead of throwing them into the dryer. They ruined all my beautiful dresses by throwing them in the dryer. And when I presented it to them that all my dresses are shrunk and ruined they basically yelled at me and threw it back in my Face. So... we were unable to use the laundry machines at our apartment complex for a month, and aside from doing some desperation laundry loads at our friend's place, we had a large laundry pile of impending doom. Unsure of when the laundry room problem would actually be fixed, we bit the bullet and headed over to Eco Laundry to wash, wash, wash, and dry, dry, dry those massive piles of laundry! We were immediately greeted by the cheerful associate, who encouraged us to ask him for help if we needed anything. They have change machines, and vending machines with snacks, drinks, and laundry supplies if you've forgotten or run out of a few items. The machines were clean, as were the floors, and there were many different washers to fit your load needs (1, 3, 5, and 6 load washers). We went here on a busier night, but had no problem with getting the type of machines we needed, or getting a dryer. They also have carts for you to place your laundry when transporting it to the dryers. I was impressed by the associate here. I don't know his name, but he was a young gentleman with a thick (Scottish?) accent, but I commend him for his devotion to work! He was constantly moving from area to area, cleaning the floors, and cleaning the inside of the machines to make sure everything was spotless. They finally fixed the laundry room problem where we live, but if we ever need to go to a laundromat again, this is the place to go! read more

Now let me preface this by saying I don't "do" laundromats. I've been spoiled in that most of my life I've had a washer and dryer at my disposal. (Being little and going with mom doesn't count!) So sometimes when I get in there, it takes a minute for me to get acclimated. But I'll go every once in a while for my comforters. I went on a Saturday night (yes a Saturday night) so it wasn't busy at all. The employee working there was pleasant and very helpful. She helped me pick out the right size machine for my comforter (I didn't want to squish it in my machine at home - you can't get a good wash that way, plus you can ruin the machine!) While I waited, I surfed the web using the free wifi. My comforter came out pretty clean and the dryers dry fast like a NYC laundromat dryer, tee-hee. Over the past decade this place has been my go to for cleaning my comforters. It has always been clean, up to date, and had their machines working. The only thing I would change is have a few more of the "6 load" machines, maybe just two more, that would be great! If you use this place, be considerate, use a timer (on your phone or track the clock). There's nothing fun about keeping other people waiting for a machine, and occasionally you'll run into that person who will just unload the machine for you. Don't be mad at the person who unloads the machine, you should be more diligent about watching your machine. read more

Eco Laundry = the best! I bought a house in April and to my surprise, the W/D unit that came with wasn't exactly working 100%... not even 50%. So as per usual I went to Yelp to find something reasonable, within a decent driving distance and recommended by my fellow Yelpers, all the while I did research/save $ to purchase a new W/D set. Felt so lucky to have Eco Laundry close to home with quality work and be affordable! Due to my schedule I used them for the drop-off laundry services for a few months. I called ahead of time a day or so before to get the general info and the gal on the phone was quite helpful. I was a little hesitant still at my first drop-off since I'm quite particular about how I do laundry [#thanksmom]. I had already separated my laundry before arrival and the front desk attendant wrote down my instructions for each basket on a post-it. I forgot about my drying instructions and called back a short time later & she took that info down too. For my 3 baskets of clothes & sheets it was only $15! My follow-up was a little more expensive but due to me needing towels to be washed. I was impressed with their folding skills because I normally hang most of my stuff. I believe if you get there early enough, they'll have same-day services. I've also had a few things dry-cleaned and been impressed with their work. Seriously, such a blessing to have them when you don't know you need them! Glad I have them in my back pocket if something happens to my new W/D [hopefully not!]. read more
