I called to get a suggestion for a collection of treats for my adult daughter's birthday last weekend. The woman I spoke to was incredibly helpful. She even sent me pictures of what they had in the case. We came up with a lovely bunch of treats and my husband picked them up later. My daughter was very surprised and they were absolutely the most delicious deserts we've ever had! If you ever want the treats of your life you have to go here. I noticed this cafe and just had to stop in. It's a cute cafe, nice decor and is comfortable. I visited Paris earlier last year and was in the mood for some macarons. While they didn't have any, I instead ordered a couple tarts and they were wonderful. The pastries are all authentic as the owner is from France, and they do carry a certain charm and deliciousness. As we evacuated the East coast during Hurricane Milton, a local Cocoa Village art dealer recommended this darling cafe for lunch. Eating here was one of our favorite meals on our shortened trip. The real deal!!! An awesome edition to our Space Coast brought by a French family that know the art of French baking. The store is traditional French and every detail meticulously thought out. The only thing the croissants are missing is a view of the La Tour Eiffel. We enjoyed 2 fresh croissants with a coffee and tea. I am so pleased we have a traditional French bakery now on the Space Coast. The staff was polite and efficient, the bakery cases busting with yummy delights that will whisk you away to the land of Liberté, égalité, fraternité!!! We plan on becoming regulars. The atmosphere in here! I really can't say enough about the atmosphere that they have set up in this homey little coffee shop and bakery. My girlfriend and I tried a strawberry tart and cappuccino and both were outstanding! The taste of the food is off of the walls, and the tart was the best I have had from anywhere thus far. The smells, the aesthetics, lighting, service, food quality, etc. There is not anything I have found yet to say that is not positive about this business. I'm a local that enjoys frequently dining in at French Delights Bakery. This bakery-cafe-restaurant is exactly what Brevard County needed! FDB brings a lot of variety, joy, and culture to this community. I can see that the owners live and breathe their craft. Every time I stop by for a coffee or a quick bite to eat, the atmosphere is always lively, the food/baked goods are always fresh, the staff are always efficient, and the coffee is always luscious! FDB serves Julius Meinl espresso. They also have alternative milk options. (In response to another review): It's understandable that the homemade bread may not taste exactly the same way here as it does in France (yet, it's still delicious)! Florida water is not the same as French water. Anyone who enjoys baking or cooking understands that the type of water that one uses will affect the taste of whatever they're preparing. Also, I don't believe that the homelands of the staff have anything to do with the authenticity of this bakery-cafe-restaurant. The owners are French people, and they're cooking French food. What could be more authentic than that!? Everyone who works at FDB is proactive, productive and professional. The bathroom and the eating space are always maintained at pristine condition, and the bakery windows are well-kept. FDB is a small (family owned) business, and their selection is not mass produced. Everything is handmade from scratch. If the pastry or sweet you'd like to purchase is not in stock, you can place an order with a member of their staff, and they will do their best to accommodate you! The prices at FDB are very inexpensive. It's my favorite place in town to have lunch and a coffee. My personal favorite savory dish is the curry chicken salad. Each sweet is a mini work of art, so you cannot go wrong by indulging in a different one each time you visit. Whenever I dine in, a member of their staff will follow up by visiting with me at my table to see how my experience has been, and to see if there is anything else that I need. This kind of customer service is rare to find in a cafe atmosphere these days! Furthermore, FDB is a pet and baby-friendly place! I absolutely recommend French Delights Bakery to anyone who's reading this review, and I will certainly return (most likely tomorrow)! I will post a few photos in the near future. While getting ready to order I overheard the manager being very rude to my family who were sitting in the chairs taking photos. We left. Never coming back. My husband asked for a receipt and she responded by giving it to him telling him, "Here ya go, it's long just like a B.J." My husband could not believe his ears so he asked her what she said and she actually repeated it. We did order to go but sat down to wait for our order. Our food came out but our coffees were taking quite a while so we decided to go ahead and start eating our food while we were waiting on our coffees. When the same waitress brought our coffees over she responded with, "Are you kidding me?! That's such a waste of styrofoam!" and she walked away. We were all in shock!
