This review is for the Ford Service department. I'm very picky on where I take my cars, and always stick to dealership service departments.. If a service rep doesn't look me in the eye while helping me out and has their eyes fixed on the computer or is multi tasking while asking me questions on why I'm taking my car in, you could count on me not coming back.. Its simple, knowing the people I do business with on a 1st name basis is all I ask.. So on to the review, the staff at fremont ford is pretty much everything I could ask for. Since day one they've taken my car in and treated it like it was their own personal vehicle. From the desk to the lift, it was looked at and worked on as if it was me doing the work myself.. Micheal is great and always finds ways to save me money. The very 1st day I took my car in Micheal had recomended a specific service tech (Mao) to work on my car, and since then Micheal and Mao have been the only ones I've dealt with 99.9% percent of the time.. This is the very 1st dealership I've ever gone to where I actually hang out for literally hours after my car is done.. maybe its cause I'm crazy about my car and other stangs, idk.. everyone from the front desk, techs, managers, even the guys in detail know me by name now and it feels good.. but I have to say, it all came from great customer service since day one, getting to know me and working on my car as if it were theirs.. I've noticed its not only with me and the type of car I have either, I've noticed other customers come in female/male, and whether it be a daily driver/commuter, truck or van they talk to each customer as if they were bringing in their child to the dentist.. I highly recomend this dealership to anyone, everyone there is great! read more

Worst experience ever at a auto dealership. I live in San Jose, and I drove all the way to Fremont for my car's maintenance, because according to the Ford's official site, they got a F150 raptor in stock. And, I was planning to take a look at the truck. After dropped my car over there, I waited for about 20 min but the sales guy who told me will "be right with me" went to somewhere else, and another guy, who was really nice, helped me out to check with the manager and found out the raptor was just sold. It was my bad I didn't call in to check before arriving. Then, the manager asked me which model I was looking for. I said Raptor. Then he said the same thing that there is one just sold today, and there will be another incoming in a day or two, then I said I would like to test drive it before making decision. Then he said: "We usually don't do test drive on Raptors, because customers who are buying this truck don't want a high mileage." Well, I can well understand it, I myself don't like high mileage when I m buying a new car or truck. I was still calm at this point. Then, he said something more "This is a RAPTOR, it is a 65 thousand truck, not a 2 thousand car. Would they let you test drive a Lamborghini?" Hmm, I don't know Lamborghini, but when I was going to Porsche and Audi dealers with my friend to test R8 and 911 turbo before, and I have never heard anything like you cannot test drive it. And it is JUST a 65k truck, it is not a super car. What really pissed me off was, he then said: "I can give you a phone call when we get the Raptor and I can go and have a ride with you, but we cannot drive all the way to Santa Cruz, and put 100 miles on the truck." I really tried to get my car key back because I just don't wanna come to this dealership any more, but they don't know who can open the service drop-off box. read more

Another update - I'm trying to buy a house, and found that I have to account for the multiple credit checks involved in buying this car. That charade of checking different banks for rates had an effect on my FICO scores! Grrrr..... read more

First off, DO NOT COME HERE!!! I usually write good reviews, but this place is terrible. I did read the previous reviews and I'd have to agree with the bad reviews. I went with my boyfriend to buy a car there and it was his dream car, so no matter what he'd probably have bought it. So he gave them a call one day after he saw the posting of the car on craigslist. After they told him all the info, they called him a day after and then the day after that, leaving voicemails (I'm guessing they have caller ID) and trying to be his best friend before he bought his car. When we got there, they pretty much tried to upsell him like crazy, and it worked because he wanted the car thaat bad -_- so he bought it. The process took 4 hours because the salesman took forever. We filled out paperwork in less than 30 min. Done deal, he bought the car. But we were in a rush to leave that night cause we got out at 1030 and just wanted to go home and it was dark. The next day we realize it didn't come with floor mats. We give them a call, and they say they'll leave the message with the main guy. We never heard from them again. This place is a joke. Save yourself the money and time and just go somewhere else to get your car. Once they sell you the car, excuse my language but they don't give a shit about you anymore. Terrible place!!! read more

Came in looking to purchase a car and meet a man who was telling us a lot of information about upgrading packages rather than asking us what we were looking for. We told him we were only interested in one car model and would like to test drive it. He leaves and we waited about 5 minutes. Then we notice the same man get in his Honda while on the phone and leaves! ! I thought maybe the man happened to have similar outfit to the salesman bit my husband said it was the same guy. So rude. He didn't even tell us anything. Then we left and got an Acura down the street. After leaving, i took it as a sign that a ford fusion wasn't for me.. read more

Made promises on the trade in that they could not keep. Once promise was made they acted as if I made it up. They would not negotiate on the used car I wanted and sales manager said that they do not negotiate on used cars, which is an out right lie. Would not trust them any.deal. read more

These guys were great! Robert C. was amazing and did a fabulous job at helping me with the purchase of my 2020 Explorer. They answered all my questions and did a detailed job at going over the vehicle. This is my 3rd Explorer here at Fremont Ford, I will definitely be back! read more

I'm in the military so as you can imagine attention to detail is more than just an expectation . Robert Contreras not only helped deliver the 2016 Golf Gti that I wanted straight to my house but went above and beyond in ensuring that I was a satisfied customer. He was very knowledgeable and helpful despite the fact that it's not a Ford owned vehicle. He was there to provide vehicle history and ensure that what I wanted is what I received without the peddling. While as a whole I recommend this dealership the sales person I dealt with is what made this a 5 star review read more

Fremont Ford Service has been mediocre at best in the past. There were hiccups each time we brought our vehicle in, but the truck is under a prepaid service agreement through Fremont Ford so we will continue to bring our vehicle there. This week our experience was quite different and very positive!!! It began with Sara helping me schedule our service appointment over the phone. She made making the appointment super easy. She emailed me a confirmation of the appointment afterwards. Our Service Advisor was Peter. When we dropped the truck off he checked us in. He listened to us and confirmed all of the issues we needed address on this visit. We had an early morning appointment so we dropped off the truck the afternoon before our appointment. We were thrilled that they started working on my husband's truck right away. Peter also texted me about 10 mins after we left the dealership and said if I needed any updates on the truck we could call him or text him. That really made our interactions convenient! Their mechanics also were great; we took care of about 5 things and we got the truck back sooner than anticipated! My husband and I are really pleased with the service we received this week!!! Kudos Fremont Ford Service!!! read more

Terrible dishonest people. I came here today with my wife. Some dude by the name of Mohammed came in and starting saying "ask you here to do business or are you here to waste my time". We were considering a Ford, a Honda, and a Mazda. The Mazda dealership got our business. Mohammed is probably the rudest person I've met in my life. What was shocking was how condescending he was to my wife. He said something to the effect of if your husband cant buy you a car, he is anadequate. One woman in the sales department came and tried to soothe us. If you're a woman, please never come here. the most negative experience i've had in my life. read more

Fremont Ford is my go to dealership! We leased a new 2019 Ford Escape in April for my daughter. Abbas and another manager worked with us in advance and made sure we had all the information we requested. When we arrived to look at vehicles, Mustafa was very courteous, professional, and thorough through the entire process. He made sure that my daughter was completely comfortable and knowledgeable before driving the car away! She loves her Escape! I mentioned to Abbas that I would return when it was time for me to get a new car - he said 'when you're ready, we'll take care of you'. Fast forward to last week, my own car was on it's last legs. I walked into the dealership (without an appt) with only intentions to check out current vehicles. Abbas greeted me and made sure I shared my wish list with Mustafa. Low and behold, I left that same day with a new 2019 Ford Fusion! Again, Mustafa listened and showed me vehicles within my price range and Abbas offered additional savings that made the overall offer one I could not refuse. Yama in Finance took the time to explain everything and did not rush. I appreciated that! Mustafa did not hesitate to help with logistics of getting the new car home and returning a trade-in. He is pretty amazing. I was so very impressed with the entire experience, the entire staff, and how they prove they care about their customers satisfaction. Thank you Fremont Ford! You set the bar high with customer satisfaction, professionalism, and welcomed approach! read more

Went here a few weeks back looking for a new car. Gave them over an hour notice that I was coming to test drive a specific car. When I arrived, the car had been sitting in the same spot so long (~1.5 years never moved) that the battery was completely dead. After about an hour of the techs hooking up multiple jumpers, the car still would not start. I told them it would be quicker to replace the battery, but they had no intention of listening to a measly customer. What would I know about cars?! One of the techs didn't even know that you had to put the damn clutch in to start a car with an MTX!!!! I left because I was late for an appointment, and came back the following day. The car still would not start. What a joke. Don't ever buy anything from this incompetent dealership, let alone waste your time showing up at their store. These dumb asses still have the audacity to call me back over and over asking if I still want their car that they claimed was "flying off the lot." Enjoy being the lowest rated Ford Dealer in the Bay Area :) read more

I came here after negotiating with vaseem Mohammed. Once I got here and asked him for a test drive, vaseem Mohammed misbehaved and was extremely rude. He smirked when I said - I am deciding between their car and a vw golf. Probably the rudest dealership in the area. No wonder tesla doesn't want to have dealers. With dealers like Fremont ford and agents like vaseem Mohammed, I am never going to shop ford again. read more

Let me just start off by saying this is the second time we leased from this dealership. Our experience in our first lease was average nothing great but our second time around was awesome Thanks to our Internet sales manager Robert Contreras. Definitely wished that we had him with the 1st lease. He made everything go smoothly. We had a schedule appointment with him and we change the times twice on him that day and he was very accommodating. Initially My family and I were worried about being late to our following appointment, so right when we got there I told Robert that and we got straight to business. Eventually Robert got us in the car we wanted, Answered all our questions very thoroughly, and Always offered us water and snacks. And actually went above and beyond and went to pick my family up food! That meant a lot especially having a toddler. Robert, I hope when Our lease is over your handle our next lease. Just also want to give a shout out to Abbas who is his sales manager and who also was working with us. Definitely looking forward to working with these individual again. Thank you and much appreciation read more

Every time you come here you will get service! The service department here is awesome. I've never once had a horrible experience here and I highly recommend it to everyone I know. I was shocked reading other reviews. People expect to be treated like royalty & forget that employees can only do so much. Just because you're getting you car serviced there, doesn't mean they have to shine your shoes while they're at it. Calm down people. read more

This is a sinking ship. I purchased a new van last year and loved the finance manager and salesman. They are now gone. I took my uncle there a couple of months ago to buy a used car. The new finance manager sold us on a warranty, which we were happy about. A month ago, they start calling my uncle trying to back out of the warranty because he sold us too long of a warranty. The brakes just needed to be replaced after having the car only 2 months. My uncle brought it in thinking it would be covered. He never got a quote or was told it would cost him anything. When he picked up his car, they gave him a bill for over $800! Fremont Ford obviously doesn't safety check their used vehicles because if the brakes are less than 40% they must be replaced. They are dishonest and I will never buy a car from them again. read more

I tend to gush, so I never write reviews, but it's high time I've started. I'll try to keep this short- Nick (sales) and Abass (finance) at Fremont Ford gave us a great purchasing experience -typically impatient, but the attention given to us and the extent to which our questions were answered made 2+ hour process worth it -Nick is knowledgeable, personable, thoughtful, and real- hard to find in human beings nowadays, much less when sales are involved. -never once felt as if another customer was more important/ignored. ONLY complaint: the fish look pretty "done with this shit" and the coral looks pretty algae-y, detracting from the overall aquarium aesthetic. You could make it look SO. COOL. Thanks again, to Nick and Abass! read more

Check their website and talk to Jim, thats what it said. So, we did on a Saturday. Got a callback a few minutes later as promised from Kevin who finds out the details and promises a great quote on Monday (today, still waiting). Regardless, my advice is to call and let them know what you want. Afterwards, looks to be better to go over and talk to see inventory. Other Ford dealers look to have tried to copy their website layout but only theirs and links actually work (ha!). read more

If you're going to buy a car here you have to ask for Shaun. He is awesome! I just recently bought a used 2001 Dodge Stratus sedan from Fremont Ford, and Shaun made the experience very pleasant for both me and my fiance. I am very weary of sales people (probably because I'm a sales person myself and I know how they work), but Shaun's genuine concern caught me off guard. First, he helped me figure out financing options BEFORE taking me out to look at and test drive cars. I told him I was interested in the First Time Buyers program, and Shaun really helped me to understand how it worked and what I qualified for. I'm so glad that I didn't waste all my time shopping for cars first and then finding out which ones I qualified for afterward. I never felt any pressure from him to buy anything or to look at cars outside of my price range. He definitely took the time to understand my needs and to help me find a car that is right for me. I didn't buy anything the first time around, but Shaun gave me his cell phone number and told me to call him if I had any questions. I called Shaun back the next day and he took the time to answer all of my questions even though he had taken the day off to be with his wife who was recovering from surgery! When it came down to price, he made negotiating easy. We talked about the bottom-line price and when I agreed on a price I wasn't surprised later by add-on fees. I was so impressed with Shaun's availability, genuine interest, and character. If you're going to buy a car I would highly recommend requesting Shaun as your salesman. read more

Our family bought a car and this is the second time we purchased here. Both times we had the best experience. Christian sold us the car, Abbas also helped coordinate it all and Alex helped us when we picked the car up. (Absolutely Livid) If I could give a zero, I would. By far the WORST customer service of any dealership in my experience. Dropped by trying to end a lease and return the car, and was met with an immediate no. When simply asked why, I was told "they can't and to come back another day" without any explanation. Mind you, there was a showroom full of employees (no less than 10) doing nothing. Was it because they were short staffed? Closing? When asked for some explanation, the apparent "manager" told us he didn't want to deal with it now and the earliest he wanted to "help us" was in 2 days. Avoid. This. Place. Like. The. Terrible customer service at parts department today. Got off work early so I can order parts, got there at 4:50(they closes at 5 on Saturday). The guy doesn't seem to know what he's doing(older guy in his late 40's), spent 3 minutes and couldn't find the part in the computer, I can tell he doesn't even want to put in the effort to look, then blames "Ford's computer server is down for service because it's late Saturday" and tells me to go back next week. Really? Ford is a multi billion dollar company and they're gonna do server maintenance on a day that every Ford service department opens so they can't order parts? You really think people are that stupid? I know it's almost time for you to leave but have some work ethic or honesty which you clearly does not have any! read more

Awful customer service... after leaving four voicemails/messages for service department I decided to go and buy parts myself at their parts department and they guy behind the counter was just plain lazy, he didn't even take the time to hear me out before making suggestions about service team and that it wasn't his department. Don't go there if you're an Afghan in particular, these guys will approach you by calling you COUSIN (Jan), you'd think they'll hook you up with the greatest deal possible but Nahhhh don't be fooled at all. They know what they're doing and they're best at it. My experience at Fremont Ford was horrible simply disastrous - I went there for a Ford Escape S model last year, ended up not liking the S model which was pretty much naked nothing attached to the car to make it worth buying, so I decided to go for a SE model, since I didn't have credit history I was approved for a at 14% so just before I go to the finance to do the paper work they raised by percentage to 19.5% just because I wasn't working at my job that I had quit the same day so I just had to go for it since our first baby was on the way and didn't have time to shop around. The car that I bought didn't have roof racks and cross bars since I needed those I was promised that I'll be getting em in 3 days from the date of purchase simply bring your car and we'll take care of it, I called them after 3 days first they said it hasn't been ordered yet so wait few more days and I did after calling few times for the inquiry I ended up going there in person and I talked to their manager about it he turned out to be the meanest guy on the face or earth since I gave them 4 star review out of 5 just because of those roof racks which I never got. He simply said "YOU WONT GET IT since you didn't take care of us over the survey" Well how am I supposed to give you 5 stars for the service you never provided I think I still gave you guys more than what you really deserve!! Last thing that I forgot to mention is that after getting the vehicle at almost 20% APR I was promised that they'll lower down the APR after I do 6 months of payments which I did not only 6 but 7 and went to refinance it last month but didn't get approved. (for all you guys who are looking to get a car at a higher APR and promises of it being lowered down later on don't believe in that, all they want is to sell you that car no matter what, they don't give a damn once you're out of their sales building with the new car) Today I'm finally out of that 20% cage, I traded that in for a better car but still lost around $12000.00. I was in the market for a new car because mine is old and probably will need to be replaced in the next few years. I was at New Park Mall and decided to drop by this dealership to check out a Focus ST and see what the pricing was and what I needed to do in order to drive one off the lot in 6-9 months. For starters, I had pretty much decided that I wanted a Focus ST. I've already test driven it at the Ford Ecoboost Challenge. I didn't need any convincing to buy a Ford. I pretty much had my mind set. Anyways... the short of the story was... I was hoping to sit down with someone. Maybe chat with him or her for 10 or 15 minutes about price points, expected down payments and financing, and maybe walk out with some spec sheets/brochures. Essentially get all the info I need in order to be able to purchase the car I want in 9 months. What I got... I didn't even get past the front door. I explained my situation and they pretty much said save as much money as you can, then come back to us. After that, they shook my hand and ushered me out of the dealership. Honestly, I just felt like I wasn't taken seriously at all. I hate to say it, but the service I received makes it really hard for me to come back to this dealership. I felt like my business was not appreciated. If you are the dealership reading this... I just want to let you know that a year ago, I strongly encouraged and actually got my parents to come to this dealership to look at and consider purchasing a Focus, and I brought them to the dealership multiple times. I hope you realize that you not only lost my business, but the business of my parents and all my friends. read more

Avoid Fremont Ford at all costs. I recently brought my F150 in for Brake servicing as it was displaying symptoms of bad Rotors. Having been told by the Service Advisor that both he and the Service Technician detected No Problems, I went to another facility with the same problem complaint. I usually take my work ford vehicles to San Leandro, but we took my girlfriends Fiesta to the Fremont location since this is where the car was purchased. I am glad we did. They are far less busy and Michael Ferrer was great. He was the representative that helped us. He looked her up in the system, got our car The Works service, complimentary. (since it was the first service for the car.) Car wash included. When we returned to pick up the car there was no extra cost or push to have anything else done to the car. The only downside was it took an hour and a half. I will take my work vehicles here and see how that goes. Until then, I will say this was a good experience at a mechanic. read more

I've taken my Mustang here for service twice (since I bought it here). Every time I go in, the service guy tries to convince me I should have my oil changed every 7,500 miles instead of 10,000 (which is what the manual says and when the oil change reminder comes on on the dashboard). When I went in for the 30,000 mile service, they recommended $1000 of work. All the owner's manual says to do at 30,000 miles is change the oil (and do all the inspections and stuff that comes with the oil change) and replace an air filter, which was about $85 total. They still managed to rip me off by a few bucks. The oil change was listed as $45 on their website, the service guy told me it would be $50, and then they rang it up on the paperwork as $55. When I got the car back, they told me the car was fine and didn't recommend anything extra at that point, but geez...I hate feeling like they're trying to rip me off every time I go in. read more

I have had extremely poor service at Fremont Ford from the sales person who sold me my van to the service manager and general manager who has yet to call me back from a voicemail I left him two weeks ago. Purchased a Focus RS (42k focus) at this dealership earlier this year, Went in to get an oil change on 12/21 (Booked online, for $79.95 for full synthetic with a 4cyl engine). The intake tech was cool, no issues but then his manager or supervisor told him it would be $129.99 for an oil change for my car. I told him their online system said $80 and he told me I was wrong and that it would be $130. I pulled it up on their website for him to see and he told me he still wouldn't honor it, but agreed to "split the difference". At this point I got a bit hot headed (that was my bad) and told him that was BS and that I already scheduled and selected the service for my exact vehicle on their website to make this appointment and he told me that he still will not honor it (both of us had raised voices). Basically got into a shouting match because this dealership was trying to increase the price of my oil change just because. Their website still right now says $80 for my oil change. This is unfortunately not the only issue I have had at this dealership, but never has anything escalated to a yelling match from a supervisor/manager to a customer. I admit I probably caused some of the yelling as I got hot headed, but still, this dealership should have honored their (Still listed!) price of $79.95 and not tried to charge me an additional $50 when I showed up. Before this when I purchased the car I had to have my brand new car sit in their dealership for 27 days for repairs due to a botched recall repair (they replaced the head gasket before I bought the car, but hooked up a ground wire wrong which shorted the ECU, stranded me on the fwy and ultimately destroyed my emissions system which led to me waiting for parts on a brand new car), and when they were giving me the car after all of that they ran it through a car wash, which ripped off the front license plate, scratched the bumper through the paint, and they didn't even tell me! i saw it on the walk around before I left, and had to ask them to go get me my front license plate. This is will be the last time I work with this dealership as their service department specifically has consistently been a let down for me. I would strongly recommend choosing one of the many other ford dealerships around for any service work. read more

As a first time buyer, I was really nervous about coming in to a dealership and deciding on buying a car. David and Q where the people that helped me decide on my new ride. They made us feel right at home, and any questions or request we had no questions asked they presented. If you feel wary about dealerships and them ripping you off, David is the person that will tell you how it is. I totally recommend anyone to just stop by check it out, and you will see what I mean when the people are welcoming and happy to serve you. Did I mentioned the whole process was at a pace I could handle, nothing in a hurry to try and get you to buy, and so kind to explain everything as many times as I liked.
