First time here and last time for me. Took my car to 4 different bodyshops including Fremont Ford and all estimated 4 days to have it fixed. I met Ben Shuler one week before I dropped off my car for him to order parts. He called one week later and said all the ordered parts just came in and I could drop the car off anytime. So the following Monday, I left my car with Ben. He told me to call him on Friday to check on the car. WRONG! You should call and tell the customer when the car is done, not the other way around. So I called him on Friday. Ben told me the car was all done, they just let the paint dry over the weekend and i could pick it up on Monday. On Monday, I called him before I came to pick up the car. He said the car was not ready because he had to order some parts. LIE #1. So I called him back on Friday, he said the parts came in and the car would be ready to be picked up on Monday. So I called him on Monday, he said the car was not ready. LIE #2. I got fed up at this point. I drove to Fremont Ford, and went to the bodyshop. Guess what, my car had been sitting there for 2 weeks with missing bumpers, and the car had not been re-painted. But Ben Shuler told me that the car had already been painted in week 1 and I could pick it up last Monday. LIE #3. On day 24, yes day 24, I came to pick up the car. I talked to Mike Solis and he said he was willing to pay the rental car for 12 days, and I paid the other 12. Really? the initial estimate was for 4 days, and you kept my car for 24 days and you wanted me to pay for 12? He threatened me that he would not release the car if I didn't agree with him. Yup, that was a threat. I asked him what was the justification for keeping my car for 24 days? He said his bodyshop can take as long as they want to fix cars. It doesn't matter 24 days or 42 days, and the inital estimate meant nothing. LIE #4. Then he proceeded to insult me that customers don't know anything about bodyshop. So I went and talked to the General Manager, DamonW. The GM agreed that I paid the rental car for 8 days and Fremont Ford paid the rest. Basically, they pushed my car to the back of the lot, and didn't start working on it until two weeks later. But Ben even had the decency to lie to me repeatedly that the car was ready to pick up since week one. Thanks to Ben Shuler and Mike Solis. I know I will never step foot inside a Ford dealership again. They made it easy for me to decide NEVER to buy a Ford in my life. A General Manager is only as good as his people. If they continue to keep people like Ben Shuler and Mike Solis, the dealership will continue to lose customers. read more

I recently visited Fremont Ford. It was a sunday and having some time in schedule I landed up unannounced. I was greeted by the Vaseem Mohammed of sales. I felt really happy the way he greeted me. In his courteous tone he introduced himself and we greeted each other. I told him that I was just there for some information and he with his smile replied that he would be happy to give me all the information I wanted. I asked him if he could show me some vehicles and he asked me if there was anything in particular I was interested in. As I had nothing in mind He offered to take me around and show me the vehicles. He took me over the place the vehicles are parked and with every step he explained in brief (which was what I wanted) about the vehicles. Not one time did he jump on me like typical sales people asking for sales. I did not realize how my time went by. When he took me back inside he asked if I wanted some water which I said I was fine. He offered to get his manager named Rob but I stopped him as he might be busy. I told him I would be back soon for a purchase as I was happy the way I was given an eye opener of the place and also the process being followed which I truly feel is transparent enough. It is a day from my visit but still the pleasant voice and face of Vaseem keep coming back to me. With such people there it is no doubt that the dealership is a real great place and it does tell a lot about the people. Have a heard a lot about the place and I did go there with a negative mind but meeting Vaseem and after seeing and hearing of the process the negativity vanished. In my view I would like to say that it is definitely a place I would recommend all who I would ever come across to buy from. Such good people do need to be recognized and I would send my voice across to all to go and see things there. It would be a real informative visit, one which would definitely make you want to buy. A sales person is a reflection of the environment and culture of any business place and after meeting Vaseem I can definitely vouch that Fremont Ford is a place to do business with. All praise to the dealership to have people like him as such people are real hard to come by. Rob you have a great sales person and am sure it is all your training which reflects from him. OMG!! Stay away from this dealership. So this is how it went down for us. We were all set to buy a Ford Van from here and found a certified used one off Car Gurus at this dealership. We submitted our request online and immediately one of their sales reps. Chris called and emailed us saying it was available . We needed financing so he told us to submit one online. Within an hour he sent us an email and left us a VM confirming the approval and the terms. The monthly payments were high so we emailed back asking if the payments could be lower. He said that he would get back to us. Never heard from him all day. The next day we get an email from the "Desk Manager" Antonio with totally different terms and monthly payments on the same car. Totally perplexed emailed back asking what was going on? He stated that Chris, their salesman had no idea what he was stating and the bank was not going to approve at that payment due to a lower credit score. Honestly the credit score is decent and the payment is a $100 more. He then goes to on state that he will try to do better. Never heard back from him until the evening. We then call again and he then states that he can't do that one either but he could get us approved for a brand new Ford .How can he get us approved for a brand new one and not a used one? That's because Ford offers more incentives and the bank does not. OK, but the monthly payment is now an another $47 more again. We then tell him that we will take the used one at the payment he is saying the bank has approved us for. He will not confirm that anymore and will not schedule a pick up time for the car either. Next morning we call the dealership Manager Mr. Abbas who says that he is aware of this deal and the bank has approved the sale . However we need to come down there because we were misstating facts on our credit application and the bank is now concerned about it. However if we come down there he can guarantee that we will drive off in a Ford. Are you kidding me? They think that we are novices and haven't dealt with dealerships before. You should realize that you get all kinds of customers . I have bought, traded in, leased at least 25 or more cars in my life time and they think that we don't know when they are messing with us. Forget it!! I decide not to go there anymore and take my business elsewhere. read more

Overall, Fremont Ford took care of me and most of my service for my 2015 Ford Flex but I had to request for the treatment I was given and not everything was fixed in the end. First I was given a 2 hour window for the service in which I chose to walk around with my baby while I waited. 2 hours turned into 6 hours, and i was stuck at Fremont Ford. When the car was returned, I left without everything fixed, seeing as they needed to order a part to finish. The part was for the audio on the dashboard because my blue tooth wasn't working correctly. They told me the whole thing was faulty. When I drove away, not only did the blue tooth not work but nothing on the dash worked. I called back to complain because they gave the car back to me more broken then when I brought it in. They told me they were going to order the part that day and I should receive it in a couple days. Having not heard from them for 2 days and getting really tired of not having anything work on my dash, I called. I got transferred from person to person, when finally someone said "oh, we need you to bring the car back in. We need a product number in order to order the part." They never ordered the part when I left that day, otherwise they would have known they needed the product number. Not only that but why wasn't this known to obtain a product code before I left with the car? Very frustrating. I demanded a rental car because I was not going to sit and wait again, which they gave me no problem. After they obtained the product number (4 hours later) they asked me to return the rental car and they would call me when I needed to bring the car back. I told them it was extremely inconvenient for me to be going back and forth and that I would need to keep the rental car which they allowed. The car was done in a week. However now the audio works exactly the same (blue tooth doesn't work). I didn't even bother going back, I probably should have. I just didn't wanted to deal with it or their service. read more

I just want to start by saying, never in my life have I taken the time to write a public review on any business. However, there's a first time for everything, so I'm taking this opportunity to share my car buying experience at Fremont Ford, "The Store That Gives You More". I was awarded a clean vehicle grant that required the car to be purchased at a select group of dealerships. It had to be divine intervention that directed me to Fremont Ford. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by the kindest, most professional, polite salesperson I ever had the pleasure of meeting. This superstar introduced himself as, Jacob Hashimi. That's right, I said it, Superstar!!! I didn't anticipate driving off the lot in a purchased car on that day, but Jacob's superb customer service afforded me the comfort and trust I needed to make the best decision. He was attentive to my needs - he listened to me, answered all my questions, and only made suggestions by way of my lead. After just one test drive, I knew I had found my clean vehicle, a Ford C-Max Plug-In Hybrid. Jacob, and the entire Fremont Ford team, made the process easy and painless. That was a blessing in itself when I factor in my average credit score. I was also extremely impressed by Fremont Ford's cleanliness, and compliance with Covid-19 masks wearing requirements. The little extra offers from Jacob, e.g., bottled water, a cup of hot chocolate at the end, merit a mention. All-in-all, this was the best experience I ever had at a car dealership! An appreciated shout-out to Abbas Asalati, (Sales Manager), and Yama Zamir, (Finance Manager) is well deserved. Review My experience was very good My Salsman Satnam was a very nice young man he gassed and washed my new F-150. And help me familiar myself with its systems. Both Sale's Managers Shah and Abbass were easy to deal with. Their was none of the normal gamesmanship that is some time associated with Car purchases they found a fair price for the F-150 and fairly valued my trade. I'm not saying this to just be saying something. I'm an experienced Car purchasr and had an understanding going in. What the value of both the F-150 and my trade were and came prepared for battle . But it was not necessary. In past experiences with other Dealers, I have had to spend a couple of days of back and forth. But we wrapped everything up in an hour. Which is important as my time is important. The Finance Administrator Larry Surroachi was particularly helpful. I never buy additional warranty's. Because in past years I've found them to over priced and without a great deal of value. However in this instance I purchased both an extended warranty and a maintenance program. Larry was able to show me that I would clearly save money by purchasing the maintance program, prepaying for all of the maintenance the vehicle will need. Saving me on the maintance and protecting me from possible future expenses I might not be able to afford in the future. Now when it comes to this truck all I have to do is drive it and take it to Ford anywhere in the Country for maintenance or repair should I have s problem. I would recommend Fremont Ford to everyone. The people here are great. All very positive, no noticeable hard selling techniques. The management is eager for you to leave with a car AND a smile on your face. While drawing up the sales agreement, an option (for an additional cost) came up. We initially agreed, but when actually signing the papers, we expressed some unease. The contracts person immediately gave us the option to have that removed (unlike past experiences at other dealerships where they have pushed us to keep it.) So kudos to the contracts team for this. Like all dealerships, you need to be prepared. If you and the sales person agree to some terms, get it in writing. NOT because this (or any dealership) will cheat you, but because it avoids confusion when what you believe you heard is not what the salesman thinks they said. Keep a short summary of what you agreed to (and any benefits you may be getting) and review it with the salesperson before starting the actual purchase. Not only do you avoid thinking you were mislead, but it avoids issues since they can be cleared up before the sales transaction starts. But in the case of "he said, she said", without some reference, it puts everyone in a difficult position. The management team is very supportive of the salespeople, but make it very clear that you, as a customer come first. Remember that new sales people are hired all the time - so always reach out to management if you have an issue, especially with someone who may be new. By far the best car buying experience I've ever had. Abbas, my sales guy was quick and efficient. He listened to all my concerns and answered my thousand and one questions with a smile on his face and honestly you don't see that very often at dealerships. I walked away a happy customer with a brand new Focus electric (the gas mileage is AMAZING- my bank account is happier). I had done a lot of research before going to dealerships so I knew what I wanted and how much I wanted it for. I checked out a couple different dealerships in the bay area mainly san jose area and was not impressed at all. Since I live in fremont I thought it wouldn't hurt to check out the local dealerships. The dealership is under new management and you can see a HUGE difference. Everyone was really friendly and laid back unlike other salesmen I had met at previous dealerships. Abbas had so much patience when showing me several models and letting me test drive 3 of them before I set my mind on the Focus electric. I was shocked at how patient and intuitive he was to all my concerns. He went through all the paperwork and finances with me and explained it all in great detail which made me feel very comfortable especially since this was my first car purchase. I never felt pressured once or felt like I was wasting my time or their time. If you are looking for to buy a car and want a smooth and comfortable experience I suggest checking out Fremont Ford and asking for Abbas. My brand new 2016 Ford Escape stopped out o no where on 10/17 as I was driving and started up and died threes times until I could get to a safe spot on the side of the road. Had it towed that night and by noon the next day 10/18 my car was fixed. I was told it was a a possible recall and when I was called to confirm, they said it was a throttle body issue. However, I never received a recall notice. This was a very frightening experience. As I have continued to research the recall, there seems to only be a recall from 2010 and 2012 for the same thing but not for 2016 which worries me. I found two customers that experienced the same thing and one said they had to wait five weeks for the part to come in and the other said Ford simply reprogrammed the ETB. I called Shaun on 10/31 and asked him to call me back to let me know if they in fact replaced the EBT or just reprogrammed it. If it was fixed in less than five hours from when my car was towed to Fremont Ford, makes me believe it was only reprogrammed and my concern is that if the EBT wasn't replaced, it will happen again. I need to make sure the EBT was actually replaced. I'm driving to North Dakota next week and am very nervous that my car will die out again. I need Ford to call me and confirm that they replaced the EBT not reprogrammed it. Other than that, Ford's Customers Service is awesome and they are always working so hard and so diligently but I would like a call back with paperwork stating the EBT was replaced, to ease my mind. I've been car shopping off and on for quite sometime now. I wanted to make sure that I am getting the best deal for my money. I decided to cruise the different Ford Dealer websites in the bay area. So finally I made it to Fremont Ford's website. After a few minutes of cruising the website, I had finally found the car that I had been searching for, but of course the price was a little over what I was going to settle for, but I thought I should still see what kind of deal they would give me. I sent an online request and within minutes I received an email back from Jim the Internet Sales Manager telling me that the car was still on their lot and we would be happy to set up a test drive with me. I wanted to test drive it, but first I wanted to know where I stood with the numbers. I emailed him back stating my concerns and he was more than understanding. Jim and his team were so helpful throughout the whole deal. One of Jim's Sales Reps (TOMAS) called me a day later to make sure that I received all of the information that I needed and in case I had any unanswered questions. BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE IN 30 YEARS! I have been driving for over 30 years and owned new/newish cars every few years. I have never been without a car payment so I have been through every type of car buying experience there is! And my experience at Fremont Ford was the best! Tran (Internet Service Manager) was patient with my questions and respectful of my time line. He stuck to "True Car" pricing and did not haggle. I told him what I would pay and that is what I paid. And he did all of this over email for months before I finally showed up at the dealership! He was helpful without being pushy. There NO price issues when I came into the dealership. Aboss in the finance department was also honest and up-front and did not push to sell extras I didn't want in the finance process. And the general manager came out to answer my questions about credit and how it affects interest rate, and he was a wealth of information (and I like to think I know everything! LOL!) Gotta give a shout out to Fremont Ford Service Department, especially Peter who helped me today and made everything go super smoothly! The appointment set up, follow up and the appointment itself were all fast, professional, and friendly!
