DO NOT RELY ON THIS PLACE FOR MAINTENANCE. I would rate this place an absolute ZERO. These people will do anything just to sell you a car and give you the absolute worst car repair experiences. They give the run around and a bunch of excuses. Let me explain. We bought an 2019 F150 platinum diesel in the beginning of the year, BRAND NEW. About three months ago the AC wasn't working so we took it to get it fixed because it was under warranty. They kept it for 2 weeks and returned it saying it was fixed, but when we got it back it was still not working. So we told them again and returned it back to them so they can take out the whole Dash and figure it out. They ended up giving us a red f150 not diesel, with NOT a full tank of gas. The rental truck they gave us made literally 16 mpg while our f150 made 24 mpg. It took them a WHOLE MONTH to "try" to fix it, coming to the conclusion that a part may have to be replaced. They then told us last Wednesday that it would be ready by Friday. It is now Monday Dec. 23rd, and they STILL have not given us the truck back and have not fixed it. On top of that, they told us they don't quite 100% know it'll work if they replace the part. It's been a about a month and a half and they can't figure out why the AC is not working. THE AC UNIT. We are not paying this truck off every month for us to not be able to drive it and not have it fixed by promised dates. Extremely disappointed by this ford dealership and will not be coming back. DO NOT RELY ON THIS PLACE FOR MAINTENANCE. read more

Robert was an excellent salesperson and hooked us up with a great 2020 Ford Transit Connect. We were with our 6 year old son in tow and on our way to a hockey game and it was too good of an offer to pass as the van was just traded in the day prior. We'd been looking on the internet but these cars go fast - as we are using it to support our sourdough bakery business. They took care of us fast, replaced the tires, and Robert picked us up at the train station when it came time to get the car. Thanks a million. We're stoked to have a practically new bread/surf/camp van :) read more

I bought a mustang GT350 here, several issues since i got it, 1st they didn't place the temporary registration and made me come back to get it, they said car was going to be detail clean/wax and didn't happen neither, they put new tires and they place backwards, they didn't leave me the wheel lock so i couldn't replace rotate them. I took it for some repairs on dec 10th and after making several attempts to talk to the service advisor i ended up talking to the manager and getting no answers. He said he would call me back in half an hr and never did. After 17 days i still don't know when I'm getting my car back... Very disappointed of this dealership. I regret buying from them and taking it to service. Don't buy from them or use their service department. I wish i would have known their customer service prior to this... read more

You need a car?? Go into Fremont Ford, they will take care of you. Our sales rep JP when on and beyond to help us meet our budget, while we waited for the loans to get approved we got to know each other a little more, JP has a great personality, super friendly and very outgoing, made time go by fast. All the staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable. Mustafa the finance manager did an amazing job explaining our loan detail and helping us understand the extended warranties. We are super happy with our new truck and will defiantly be coming back for another Thanks again Fremont Ford!!! read more

This review is for Robert and with the help Mansoor I think, the finance manager. I requested a quote online for a car and received a call shortly after letting me know that there were a lot in stock. I've been working with a different dealership but unfortunately they didn't have the car with the specs I wanted. We made an appt to come in that evening at 7. Robert was very welcoming towards my husband and I from the very beginning and was very friendly. We test drove the car and decided to buy it. He mentioned that the car didn't come with mobile cord and I asked to confirm, but I found out that it did after taking it home (not a big deal). The only thing is that we had to wait for the finance manager for a long time because he had another customer before us. The dealership closed while we waited and Robert came over to make conversation with us while we waited and he made it very personable. The two associates were very friendly and seemed very good at their job. I really appreciate the fact that they stayed late and didn't try to rush anything even though I was getting very tired. We felt very taken care of. When we were ready to leave Robert made sure he helped me set up the ford pass with my new car and texted me the app he uses to find free charging stations. He also texted the next day to follow up on a request. We really appreciate it when sales associates continue their good customer service even after the sale was done. Thanks guys! read more

I was in the Service Department. Counter person named Shawn was extremely rude and presumption. I would never go there for any services. read more

These guys TRIED TO STEAL MY $200 BATTERY AFTER performing recall work and transmission maintenance!! And put a DEAD $49 AC DELCO battery when I attempted to pick up my car!! After 2 weeks of waiting on my car to be worked on I couldn't even turn it on!! I tell the general manager and THE OWNER (he said he was the owner- a tall Indian guy) and they give me THEIR "WORD" that they will find my battery and if I could prove it.. I had to call auto zome and pull up my receipt and warranty info on my DURALAST GOLD 5year warranty battery!!! I come back to the dealership 24 hours later AND MY CAR WASNT TOUCHED OR EVEN LOOKED AT!!!! They scrambled to CHARGE THE COMPLETELY DEAD AC DELCO AS OPPOSED TO FINDING MY BATTERY!!! So unprofessional!!! Mind you... I paid and was supposed to pick up my car 4 days prior !!! So now I'm not even sure if they actually worked on my car properly or tried to PART OUT MY VEHICLE!! Never Go HERE!!!! This place tries to PUT YOU TOGETHER AND THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE IN SERVICE!!! The poor receptionist is the only person you can consistently get a hold of!! Then she passes them messages and notes and NOTHING!! You have to go there in person to get anything done!!! Shameful and SLIMY!!! read more

I booked a "Quicklane" oil change appointment for 10:00AM on Saturday 9/11/2021, and arrived 5-10 minutes before the appointment. When I got to the service advisor, I was asked "you are waiting for this?". I replied that I was. I was then told it would be mid-afternoon before it would be complete, best estimate was between 2 and 3. It seems egregious that an oil change would take **5 hours** to complete. When I asked about "Quicklane service", I was told that lots of people were ahead of me. If there are so many customers booked ahead of me, why did the appointment system even allow me to book an appointment? It seems that there is the "advertising side" of things by naming their service "Quicklane", but at least in this case, it was anything *but* quick. I am a repeat customer of Fremont Ford, having purchased my last two Ford Explorers there. The sales process was great. The service after the sale has been mixed. My last oil change appointment, made for a Saturday morning, was quick, I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. I will be thinking twice about my next service, perhaps going elsewhere. read more

The best car experience I have ever had...and I'm surprised even saying that. Robert was honest, reliable, and went above and beyond to make sure we got into the 2022 Ford Explorer. He drove the vehicle all the way from Fremont to my house in Seaside. Excellent customer service!!! Even though I am located hours away...I will only give my business to this dealership. Great job, Robert!!! read more

I bought two vehicles from this establishment in 2014. Life was good then. Fast-forward four years and I decided to take my 2006 Lincoln Navigator (which I bought from a different dealership) to them for an A/C problem. They charged around $200 for a diagnostic and said that that money would go towards any repairs. After the diagnostic they said it only needed to be recharged, so they recharged it and returned it to me. A week or so later when the weather had warmed up a bit I noticed that the A/C was still blowing only cool air. I took it back to them and they said "Oops, it needs a new compressor, that'll be an extra $1500." Needless to say I wasn't happy. Fast-forward three years to a couple of weeks ago. My 2014 F-150, the one I bought from them, had an A/C problem. I thought it must need a recharge because it's only seven years old. I said the A/C needs to be recharged. They did just that to the tune of $385. Well, the A/C was still only blowing cool air. When I called them to say it wasn't working the rep whom I shall not name said, "We did what you told us to do." I said, "Is that your answer?" He said, "If you told us to fix it then we would've done a diagnostic and fixed it, but you said it needs a recharge." Then he said, "What would you have liked us to do?" I said, "I figured you would've tested the A/C before the recharge and after the recharge to verify it's working properly, then if it wasn't, call me to say a recharge didn't work." He said to bring it back for a free diagnostic at which point they found it needed some type of valve which was going to cost $972 to replace. I didn't feel like shopping around for a second opinion I just wanted it fixed so I gave the go ahead. When I went to pick the vehicle up and at the same time express my displeasure that twice they dropped the ball with my A/C on two different vehicles, this same rep played the victim card. I didn't feel any reassurance from them or even an apology, just this exasperated attitude like I was being difficult when all they're trying to do is help. It was a real woe-is-me type vibe he was putting off. He even responded with, "Sometimes we make mistakes," like "we're only human." My thought is, "Sure. But as a business you have to do right by the customer to atone for those mistakes." At any rate, between purchases and repairs I've spent no less than $85,000 with Fremont Ford and they've lost me as a customer. I hope it was worth it for them. read more

Great people to work with. Very considerate, helpful and very assertive to make their customers happy like me. I just bought my 2017 Ford Mustang convertible and as picky and precise as I am Eddie did everything to meet what I was looking for. Not only was his customer service outstanding but his patience with me was incredible. I new what I wanted and I new what I could afford and he helped me meet both. He also went above and beyond to meet my expectations in replacing the original seats. I wanted two tone leather and that's exactly what I got! Before i came to this Ford I had gone to other dealerships and looked at other cars. But I honestly felt that Eddie and Shadi cared about making me happy and finding the perfect car for me. And weren't looking to make a sale. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I live in San Jose but I will definitely be coming back to Fremont ford for my services. Thank you Eddie for all your help and great customer service! Me and Memo are beyond happy with our Ford. Also Shadi and the finance department for your help. read more

Under new ownership: I showed up for an oil change and the service advisor tried to sell me a $1,200 service for my car at 85K miles. I said no. Then he rang up the works oil change, usually about $70, now costing $135. I told him that was high. Finally, he said they no longer provide courtesy shuttles for those not waiting at the dealership. I left and won't be returning again. The service advisors are not professional or helpful. The other reviews about the new cars being marked up are particularly concerning. I will never return to this dealership! read more

Came in to order a 2024 Ford Maverick hybrid with Hazein since they had none in stock. Delivery date was 6-8 months. A few days later Hazein called and said there was a 2023 Maverick in stock. I came to see and it had everything I was looking for. There was a markup but it would've been about the same price as the one I ordered since Ford raised their price on the 2024 Maverick. Bought it and traded in my Tacoma for a good price. Wilson was straightforward and helpful in explaining pricing. Roberto was quick and efficient with the finance paperwork and gave a good price for extended warranty. The truck drives great and got many compliments on the Area 51 color. Overall, it was a smooth process thanks to the team! read more

This is solely for the Quick Lane Service Center at Fremont Ford. I have serviced my car a handful of times. No complaints. Today was a disaster. I am not the only customer too. I had booked an appointment a few days prior for Saturday, September 21st, 10:15 am. I arrive, the entrance is backed up. I somehow manage to get to the front. I am told I have to wait even though I had booked, it was confirmed that I was reserved for 10:15 am...WTF? The service tech guy was trying to imply that I had booked a 'waitlist appointment'. WRONG. I have the email confirmation showing my car was reserved for 10:15 am. I was told to wait by my car...no one was really directing the traffic coming in. I talked to another customer waiting. He indicated he had called and booked an appointment. No one told him either that the Service Center was completely booked. UNACCEPTABLE. I get that you're backed up. But this is unacceptable. Where is the workflow? Where is the follow up with customers? Customers are upset and have no idea what is going on. No one is directing traffic. I have had enough. But my car is blocked, I had to go inside the sales floor, talk the front desk. One of the employees tried to say that is not their department, but luckily one of the other sales people called the service department. Quickly one of the techs was able to move one of the cars in front of me. I left. Look, I get that things are busy. Not trying to be one of those customers, but where is the workflow? Why was I and other customers allowed to book an appointment, with no warning of this mess today? Don't know if I will come back... read more

Do yourself and your wallet a favor and don't bring your car here for servicing. They charged me $400 dollars to look at my car. I repeat just to "LOOK" at my car. The worst part is, they asked me what the problems were before I realized they charged $200 to look at each thing. Shame on me for giving them two things to look at and guess what? My mechanic took 30 seconds to diagnose one of the two things Ford charged me for. I ended up bringing my car to my mechanic in Mt View who charged me nothing to look at the car and gave me a lower price than Ford did to fix it. You have been warned. read more

Re: Service I went and got a routine maintenance here (my vehicle, a 2020 Ford Escape, had no issues at the time), and a day after I drove it home the check engine light flickered on and I was notified that I needed an oil change. Okay great, so I brought it back on a Saturday and asked them to take a look and fix whatever they did. The rep told me I should come back on a weekday, so that they could bring it into the shop and set me up in a rental. So, I came back on 8am on Monday, and at this time I was told they'd need to keep the car for a couple of days and that they could NOT cover a rental in the meantime. I was pretty irritated and couldn't be without a car for a couple of work days, so I left. So not only did they mess up a really simple routine vehicle maintenance, but they failed to take accountability in the meantime and gave me the run-around. I'd skip this shop and drive the extra miles to San Jose, this Fremont shop unfortunately is neither competent nor strong in customer service. I'm pretty irritated, but there were a lot of irritated customers around me as well so I don't believe I'm the only one disappointed in my experience at Fremont Ford Service. read more
