Love love love the beer and the space to hangout. We always bring in our own takeout which makes it a great place to be after work.

Worst service ever. Waited in line for 20 mins. There are much better places in Seattle.

This place was great! It's just a little space in the same warehouse as the brewery with some picnic tables and a few chairs spread around. They're very baby and pet friendly - tons of kids and doggies were running around when we visited, and everyone was super nice (we struck up a conversation with our tablemates). We visited on a nice day and the garage door was up so it felt like we were sitting outside (I don't know if it's always up like this, but it was cool). This was by far the best beer we had in Seattle. There is a wide range of brews, all of which are refreshing and not overly hoppy. The weekends can be crowded, but we still managed to find a place to sit. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the are! read more

Don't get me wrong, the beer is tremendous, but the service at the bar was at best aggressive. In my past experience, beer bars welcome questions about beer, and not reply with "it's on the sign isn't it?" If the sign explained what I wanted to know, I wouldn't have asked. read more

UPDATE: I just read that as of April 2015, all of the beers at Fremont Brewing other than the pilsner and kolsch are now vegan/vegetarian! Way to go, Fremont! I'm thrilled to bump this up to 5 stars and will be going out to grab a six pack this evening! ************************** Not Vegetarian! I was so disappointed to find out today that Fremont Brewing uses gelatin in the brewing process for all but one of their beers. I'd become a frequent customer over the past few months and fallen in love with several of their varieties but would have never suspected that they used animal products to make them. I hate to give them only three stars because their beer is better than that but beer is not something that seems obvious to check on and they haven't seem to have done anything to alert the beer loving vegetarians among us (which seems doubly odd given how many of us there are in Seattle). If they ever change their process, I would love to go back but my vegetarian friends and I will have to find a different local brewery in the meantime. Fortunately, Seattle has a wealth of options and almost all of them are okay for us local vegetarians. I hope that someday Fremont Brewing makes their tasty beers okay for us, too! read more

$6 for a 5 flight, outdoor long table seating with lots of flowers made it a great atmosphere and a great deal!

Great place to grab craft beers. pretty spacious layout inside and out. this place also has growlers to go.

Solid-quality beer for very reasonable prices. Cheap growler fills. Free pretzels, and outside food is welcome. Dog- and kid-friendly.

Great beer at a great price. Outdoor seating on a sunny day is perfect (if you can find a spot). Growlers are crazy cheap!

Children everywhere. The beer was great but there were infants and toddlers crawling around everywhere. Maybe I unknowingly went on some type of bring-your-own-child-to-pint-night event, or they are offspring friendly, but that is not what I personally look for in a brewing company experience. read more

Such a great addition to the neighborhood. The expansion means there is plenty of space. The space seems very dynamic and offers lots of ways to interact. Lots of beer selection plus now even more non alcoholic drinks. $8 growler fills. BYOF (f=food) which is awesome. Just wish we could get some food trucks or decent restaurants closer by. read more

Went here for the first time this last weekend. It's a pretty nice set up and definitely they do a good job of capturing that "urban beer garden" vibe, but their styles of beer weren't really my taste. Still it's a nice place to get some beers with a friend, grab some pretzels, and check out everyone's pets. Oh, and they have a brewery cat! read more

Cool brewery with chill atmosphere and excellent brew. This place was packed on a Saturday afternoon and is kid and dog friendly. The staff helpful and as another reviewer said the apple and pretzels (complimentary) were a first. I would recommend ordering a flight and sitting on the patio with a view. read more

They let you bring your own food, you sit at booths around the edges of the room or at a communal table, and you drink their great beer for reasonable prices. We usually just get a growler and some glasses and hang out. they have toys for kids to play with and dogs are welcome too. On sunny days the garage door is open so you can enjoy the sunshine and fresh air. They have great beers and the brewer is usually there to talk to and answer questions. I really love going here, great for a casual afternoon drink. read more

One of my favorite breweries in Seattle. Their Cowiche Canyon organic fresh hop ale is fantastic (released early fall). I like pretty much all their beers. It's cool that they can their pale ale and IPA, perfect to take camping. Fremont also lists what malts and hops they use on their labels, which is such a great detail. If I like a beer, I like to know what hops and grains were used. Great brewery! read more

After a second stop I'm not exactly raving about the place like I did the first time. It just didn't do it for me. The beer wasn't as tasty. The vibe wasn't as clean and chill like I remember. The beer flight was ok. just ok. So much construction it definitely didn't add beauty to the scene. If you're in the area I would still recommend checking it out but the place was a mess the last time I was there. read more

Fremont Brewing is my go to on a sunny Seattle day. Outdoor benches, delicious IPA, and friendly customer service. Definitely recommend

Fun open atmosphere. Kids welcome and they want you to bring in food. No open tab kinda sucks, so every time you're empty you have to get a new glass. read more

This is a great bar! Right in the heart of Fremont. The people I met were diverse and interesting, just like the beer. It looks like a great place to spend the afternoon, or early evening in party mode. Start here, and there is no telling where the evening will lead. read more

I really wanted to like this place. The beer is pretty good, the atmosphere is cool. However, the bartender my fiance and I experienced was surprisingly rude, which ruined the whole experience for us. When my fiance came up to order his beer, he tried to joke with her, stating, "I've been told that I like girlie, fruitie drinks. Do you have any recommendations?" The bartender did not laugh or smile and instead abruptly said, "Why do you have to go about genderizing alcohol?" and then was rude to my fiance for the remainder of their interaction. I realize the phrase "girlie drinks" might not be everyone's favorite phrase, but for someone in the service industry to cop an attitude about a small phrase like "girlie drinks" (something that in my opinion did not need to be taken quite so seriously at 4PM in a local brewery) and alienate her customers for that reason was really surprising. I didn't get it, and we will not be going back anytime soon. read more

would give it 5 stars but it is way too crowded. the bartenders were never fast to begin with, so they double their capacity for seating and don't increase the speed of pouring beers? i have stopped here the last 3 times and the wait was 30 people out the door....so long to my favorite brewery.....i'm not going to wait in line a half hour for a beer anywhere....a real shame since they have great beer but they really need to increase their capacity to pour beers faster! read more
