I did not know that, when I called for a service call. They informed me of the cost, and I agreed. The technician arrived and after explaining my problem, he thought that the solution could be a fuse. He then informed me that the cost would be $75.00 for the fuse. I thought that there must be a very specific fuse, but it turned out that it was a simple 35amp fuse, that you could purchase for less than $2.00. I was absolutely shocked that they were going to charge me that much. I had no choice but to have to pay it. I attempted to contact the office by phone to complain and speak to someone. There was no one to speak to, but I left a detailed voicemail. I was also informed that I would have to email them, as that was the only way to contact them. I did, but received no response. I then contacted them again, and still no reply. I then resent the email, hoping that they would act responsibly and professionally. It has been over 5 weeks and I have been completely ignored. I have attempted to speak with someone, and finally was able to speak with someone that provided me with the information of the company that was the actual owner, and after telling them of my situation, they said that since I would not cont to use their services, she hung up. I also renewed a service contract, with Absolute Value, not Oasis and want the prorated amount refunded to me. No response again. I WOULD NOT USE THEIR SERVICES, they are not a reportable company!

Since they bought the company that installed it earlier this year they said they would not repair it under the service contract or warranty, then quoted $1800 to do the repair (on a $4000 unit). Absolute Value was purchased by Oasis in early 2022 and Oasis will not honor Absolute Value's service contracts or warranty. If i could post with Zero stars I would!

Being the adult I am, I decided to do this prior to the full summer heat coming. I called around and got quotes from various services and through a few memberships I have like a warehouse club. Despite the free snacks this warehouse club provides, their quote was outlandish. At the advice of a pal, I called King's and was connected with Frank. He was able to give me a rough estimate over the phone which was VERY reasonable, and sent his team out to do some preliminary spec-ing. Our estimate did increase a bit due to some custom metal work needing to be done based on the configuration of our old unit/home, but it was still VERY reasonable. A few days later, the custom work was done and Frank's team came out with a crane to do out install. The entire process was seamless, painless and a breeze. Big adult purchases like this can be scary, but the entire King's team kept me informed and confident throughout the process. A few hours later their expert team had completed the work and we're as ready as we can be with a brand new unit before the summer. 10/10 recommend and will likely use for any HVAC projects we have come up in the future. The system cost about $10,000 and I have spent well over that to keep it running. Have been alerted to things either not done correctly or not done at all that should have been performed upon installation. At that time I asked King Mechanical for any included instructions or owners manual. The King Mechanical tech responded the owner's instructions were inside the unit so they would not be lost. Customer Service is not what it used to be, but "Chelsea" showed that their company values its customers. Ryan went over in detail what he found that needed repaired, our AC is 33 years old, so we expected there was going to be issues. I also really appreciated being asked if I wanted them to wear a mask when they came over. Joe came and did my estimate. He was very professional and friendly. I know for professionals, installing a NEMA 14-50 outlet is not complicated, but Joe explained the process very well and made sure all of my questions were answered. We played a little bit of phone tag to schedule the actual install, but when he came out again, he was just as friendly and professional. He had someone with him who I believe is named Bill. He was also very friendly, funny, and professional. They finished the job and cleaned up and vacuumed the debris they had made when drilling the hole which I appreciated. As I mentioned, Super Electric was not the cheapest of my options, but I am extremely satisfied with their workers and the job they did. I will definitely use them again for any electrical needs.

August 8, 2024. MCH sends out Scott (first technician). Friendly person. He only open our attic hatch to look at the AC and coil box. It was obvious that the coil box was dripping on the far side. But he did not do anything to investigate it. The solution from Scott, was to call a restoration company (since we have water damage on our ceiling). They came out and determined it was an issue with the AC. August 19, 2024. Second technician comes out. I tell him the story, and I find out that Scott is no longer with the company. Great move sending out a technician that did not want to do work initially. Apparently Scott did not do work for some time and other technicians had to fix other issues he was sent out on. Anyway, the second technician was good. We found that the coil box was leaking (and the coils need to be cleaned). Both times they attempted to clean the drain primary lines, only our emergency line is the only line dripping water. Now August 26, 2024, it has been 8 days since the second visit. We finally get a response from the warranty company. Not covered by the warranty, I get it. Neither technician offered the service to perform the coil cleaning, that is where the real problem is. ProSkills is coming out to do the cleaning and repair. Max Comfort Heating and Cooling, at least in this case, only wants the quick dollar. They could care less about fixing issues. Because of their lack of insight, for no better word, I'll have had to wait almost 1 month before this issue can get fixed. To top it off, I was told, once the coils and cleaned and the coil box repaired, they would send out another technician to fix the drain issue. NO THANKS. Update: Now I find out that the first technician did not even bother to take pictures of the issue and I'm potentially being charged for a second service fee, they are claiming that the leak was not present! Really? Its dripping through the ceiling, just because the technician did not bother to document it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
