Then all of a sudden they were interested in helping me, but it backfired when it took them so long to come back and say they couldn't help me that they then say they cannot go back far enough in time to when I had asked them to cancel my coverage, so I am stuck paying for two policies for the overlap period, which again, apparently there is nothing they can do to help with. My wife and I started searching Insurance brokers when our last insurance company raised our home and auto rates to the point that we could no longer afford them. We contacted Gebhardt Insurance and set up a meeting only to see if anyone could help. Now take into consideration my wife and I are over 70 and drive maybe 7k miles a year and our cars are over 10 years old, we've been in our home over 20 years and we're on a fixed income. Our old insurance company just increased our rates with what they said was a national average of 9%. and that also reflected in our home insurance. We're on a fixed income and have never had a home or auto claim. Our conversation With Sara Beth was very eye opening. Her knowledge and experience was the best thing ever. She worked with us to find an insurance company that met our needs and cut almost 15 hundred dollars on the combination of home and auto with the same coverages we carried with our old carrier that we were with for almost 20 years. I would recommend that anyone with questions on insurance contact Gebhardt for a review. I'm sure that they can open your eyes to the complicated world of Insurance.
