My wife had a really bad collision and we thought the car was totaled!!! We were recommended to Freeport Collision!! by a friend & what a Great Choice it was.From the second we contacted the shop we were directed how to get a rental car, they even went out of their way,& had a beautiful truck waiting for us when we got there and Matt even conveyed to the rental company that we only had one vehicle and got them to agree to an extended Free period of time, so we could figure out what we were going to do with our vehicle. We decided to let FC repair the Vehicle, & what a Great Decision that was!!! , As we are more than !00% happy with that very important decision But when the vehicle came out of their body shop it looked like it came off the assembly line, I was STUNNED not only with the Precision & Quality of the work that was totally amazing & second to NONE, And I would highly Recommend this Shop to anyone 100% Period. So firstly, I don't write reviews. I READ reviews, for everything...but, I don't write them. However, my unbelievable experience with Freeport Collision has compelled me to write a review. All I can say is, wow. They put customer service at the top of their list. I went alone to the shop for car services, and was made to feel respected and listened to as soon as I walked in the door. Nicole at the front desk was just so pleasant and friendly, I really felt so welcomed. I had the pleasure of working with Matt about what my vehicle needed, and he was extremely nice and respectful. He went through, in plain English, what needed to be done, why it needed to be done, how long it would take and the approximate cost (obviously barring a further look into the vehicle during the repairs). He said he'd call on a certain day with an update. Well, he called when he said he would, he fixed what he said he'd fix, and it cost approximately what he said it would cost. And my car looked AMAZING. I didn't even know it could be so clean, inside and out. Like nothing ever happened! I felt like I had a partner during the process of repairing my car, vs just being a bystander blankly giving someone money for the repairs. I honestly have never had a better experience and cannot recommend Freeport Collision for any and all of your car's needs. YO!! Just want to start off by saying I don't really write Yelp reviews unless I extremely dislike something and my reasoning or I extremely like something and it's reasoning, but this business!! 5 stars all around!! Everything about this business would make me recommend to my friends and family. Let's just start with the initial meeting, I had gotten rear ended and my interior driver's side door had got unhinged and it had this consistent rattling which was very irritating. Let me just start off by saying, the quote estimate was extremely fair for the work being done, but being a college student, I had to save a little bit, but when I got the work done, LITERALLY TODAY, everything was fixed and the price was DAMN NEAR the estimate!! I'm just so ecstatic. My bumper is fixed and the interior of my car door has no more excessive rattling. HIGHLY RECOMMENED!! I don't think I can get better. I wish they can be my permanent mechanic for me and my whole family, because trust and believe, I am sending anyone who needs work done here!! Ask for Matt! He was extremely helpful and courteous, he made me feel like a person, he explains everything clear and coherently. Don't go by these positive reviews. Somehow the negative reviews get deleted, like mine!!!! My post from 3/4/2015 has mysteriously disappeared! If you have a BMW......do not use, especially newer models. Go to an authorized BMW repair shop or South Shore Collision in Island Park. Make sure you also take all your belongings out of the car. After 5 weeks, I got the car back. The day I picked it up I lost power on the Meadowbrook going towards the Northern State. Something with the drive train. I limped it to an exit, but because of the steep incline, I couldn't make it passed the light. Long story short......car was sent to Competition BMW and was fixed properly because it was a 2013 and the shop could not fix the mechanical aspect of the problem. Competition fixed problem, but car still hasn't driven the same since Freeport Collision did original work! Body work was not the greatest, you could tell where the accident happened. Also, a part was missing from the vehicle. I didn't want to give any stars, but I guess I had to in order to post. My sister's car was also hit. Her car was ok, not great, but things were missing when she got the car back! read more

I meant to write a review a while ago from my experience from this shop. These people do a stand up job and I have nothing but praise for them. I dropped off my Jeep Wrangler to get some body work done. The rear hard top window was shattered and the passenger side fender was side swiped by a commercial sized truck. (The car was parked (unoccupied) and it was basically a hit and run) I decided to pay for the repair out of pocket, that was no problem for them which I appreciate a shop that takes business regardless of who's paying out. The fender was repaired quickly and the shop was just waiting on an OEM window replacement for the hardtop. This is where the shop showed extreme patience as they couldn't find the right size of window because I bought the hard top second hand. After multiple phone calls between me, the shop, a few dealerships and ordering three different windows they found the right one because the hard top was from a previous generation 2 door Jeep! I had a four door JK. I would have never known, I'm glad that they sorted that out for me as I went to pick up my Jeep and it was like brand new. Thanks a million! read more

Absolutely amazing!!!! I took my car to Freeport Collision, which I just bought, after being hit by a hit and run while parked. (And please note I was hit so bad my car was almost totaled) I was having the worst month ever. If everything could go wrong it did.....and to boot this happens right before I'm going on a vacation I had been planning forever for my daughters birthday. But I have to say thanks to Matt a disaster turned into a great experience. Now I cannot imagine going anywhere else with my car if something like this should ever happen again. I don't care if this car is a thousand miles away I will tell them fly it to Freeport Collision if they have to cause I refuse to go anywhere else than to see Matt. From the initial conversation with Matt, the manager, I was willing to give the shop a chance. Matt's excellent customer service and keeping me abreast of what was going on, at every phase, was a breath of fresh air! He helped to make the process with my insurance company go much easier (even helping to intervene with a very unpleasant experience with the claims department of my insurance company), to helping make the rental car procedure go seamlessly (even went above and beyond to make sure I wasn't overcharged) and his team did such a superb job on my car that the front of my car looks brand new! Wow! What would I have done without Matt and his team in 2017? I had two accidents with my 2014 Nissan Altima in 2017. Thank the Lord that Freeport Collision was available to receive my car, get me to Enterprise and store my stuff. Matt stayed with me until everything was fine. In fact, when he realized that I would be faced with a second accident in less than three months, he called me to reassure me that he would do everything he could to make me feel safe. When my car was fixed, no one could tell it was in an accident! Im insured by Geico, and Matt has a great relationship with the company. So, everything worked seamlessly. This is my first time writing a review period and it's long over due. The pain from my accident distracted me from writing this review earlier. I took my car in for a repair to the trunk of my car 2/21 FROM I WALKED IN THE FIRST DAY TO I GOT MY CAR EXCELLENT SERVICE. They were so helpful especially TJ. You can imagine being in pain and having to dealing with insurance ( no fault) I was so grateful I went to them.. They helped with calling the rental company they also saw the estimate was not equivalent to the repairs and they handled that as well.....not only is the customer service excellent THE REPAIR.... my car 2013 Nissan looked brand new!!!!!!! I started the new year off with a dented door that needed to be replaced. Freeport Collision was amazing. They were able to do the Geico estimate in-house for me and were completely flexible with scheduling when I could bring my car in. Even though they anticipated it taking a week or so to take care of, they called three days later to tell me my car would be all set the next day. They work closely with the Enterprise on Main St and were accommodating with picking up and dropping off the rental I had. TJ was unbelievably helpful and put me entirely at ease about the repair. I had my 2004 Pacifica repaired at Freeport Collision and it was a great experience. Matt was great to work with. He got my car in and out on the schedule promised and the car looks as good as new.
