WHAT A GEM!! What a…read morecute, unassuming little gem in the middle of nowhere. This is a small, small gas station and convenience store in Forrest city North Carolina. On the outside, you wouldn't think there is much to it. But when you enter, they have everything you could ask for in a big city convenient store. They even have funny signs alerting you to their "rules. " Their bathroom is clean. they have a menu of wings and other items you can order to be prepared right away. They do, however, require a four dollar minimum purchase if you're paying with credit card.

One of the owners was in there, real sweet lady. I asked her "you don't happen to sell any baby formula?" She said "no." As I was walking out the door, dreading heading to Hendersonville or Spartanburg; she asked "does your baby need formula?" I told her "yes, we just ran out." Anyways she went outside to her vehicle and gave me two cans of formula and wouldn't take anything for them. From that point on I was sold. Those are the kind of people I want to give my business. I'll never forget it, and I'll always be grateful for her random act of kindness

Dunkin Donuts left and now they carry some name I have never heard of. They don't sell them by the Dozen they are now per donut and the prices are ridiculous. They do have buy 7 and get one free which is crazy why bother! The gas pumps don't always work, went to get gas and put the card in and it wouldn't pump. Seems like it needed to be maintained or something but yet it seemed like it took the card. I called my bank to make sure since it was ran 2-3 times and it wouldn't work so we ,drove off. I loved going to this place until Patty started working there. She, for no reason at all has a…read moreproblem with my family, on a number of occasions she is actively trying to to separate me and my husband. We are never rude when we come through but today was the last time. We went to go get cigarettes and she wasn't even helping us but started saying rumors she started and this made my husband mad he laughed most of the time but she just kept going so he finally said something back and she ran out the door yelling obscene things as we drove off. Again we have never interacted with this woman other than when she worked in the same company as my husband and going to the gas station to buy thing (while being polite the whole time) such an unprofessional way to handle yourself and again she wasn't helping us. All because my husband is helping out someone she knows personally. All she had to do is not engage in a conversation and continue what she was doing, we are never rude and even when she did help us one day we only ever said what we needed and nothing more.
