Went to check out the Open Mic night, my husband is a lyricist and composer (the Barrel room off the bar holds a nice stage with limited seating area); however, we didn't realize they switched to stand -up comedy open Mic starting at 9pm-11pm a few weeks ago. Staff told us were unsure when going or if going back to music apparently had some cancellations. They do have live music booked acts on Friday and Saturday nights. Wonderful reworking of space, staff friendly and helpful, decor wood with industrial chic accents. Parking is free (go around back to the brewery) they have food trucks some times and a nice outside Astro turf area with a fire pit, conversation areas and little books for more intimate conversations. read more

This is more than a country store, this is a wonderland. You have a country store offering jams, icecream, candies, and even clothing. Then you have the part of the store that has guns and other weapons. There is also a ax throwing section that you and some friends can enjoy. Prices are very good and the variety of items is pretty impressive. Then this leads to the gun range. There are a few different packages for the gun range. The monitors are very helpful and friendly. Last but not least you have the arcade area. Bowling alley, arcades, and basketball hoop games. You come here and you won't be bored. read more

The hostess or master axe thrower was friendly and helpful. Axe throwing area was HOT could really use better ac flow to the area. Arcade, gun shooting, shopping, bar/restaurant all onsite also but we didn't try any of those. Would definitely recommend but dress knowing it's very hot in the axe area. read more

FYI shooting range does not open until 11am and they charge by the hour, not a bad thing. I usually don't shoot pistols for more than an hour anyway. Good shooting range and fair prices. Didn't try the MILO gun simulator but it looks awesome! Definitely check it out. Axe throwing looked cool but it's not my thing. To cap off my morning shoot I had some bbq at Dickey's. Pulled pork was the standout. Get the sandwich and hot sauce. read more

Wonderful place to shop for those items you can not live without. Many Christian Items and have recently expanded that section. Have a wonderful collection of Willow Tree, now that Family Christian stores are gone this is the best location in this area to get them. Love everything. Had the Grand opening today of Dickey's Bar-b-cue, had the two meat plate Brisket and Turkey, with two sides and a large soda for less than $11.00. They did a great job being it was opening day they pushed right through it. Amish Bakery was opening also today will try some donuts and Amish Bread that I bought expect it all to be excellent. Been here for purchases, range rental and ammo. These guys are great, knowledgeable, no pushing of any particular brand or caliber weapon. They have become much more popular lately but it's been fantastic to see so many more people enjoying the ranges! In addition to the range they have just about everything under the sun. Much is closed post COVID, so call ahead and check but still an amazing place with great people. Bring the family! read more

So my rating is for the axe throwing in particular. I called and was told it's $25 per person per hour. They have 4 lanes, and you start at the top of the hour. My reservation was for 3 pm with my mother. We get there and there's 8 people waiting to play on 4 lanes. After the prior group finished, the staff had to change a board, which meant we didn't start till around 3:12. I thought surely, they'll let us go to 4:12. Then we finally began and had to share our lanes with two folks we didn't know. Then they stopped us at 3:58. So all in all, we got to throw for maybe 30 minutes total, at best. Even though we paid for the full hour. You wouldn't go to the bowling alley, rent a lane for an hour, and then be told you have to share that lane with another family you don't know. The way they overbooked us is deceptive at best. To top it off, we tried sharing our feedback kindly with an employee and they couldn't have been less interested. The axe throwing itself was great. But the double booking ruined the experience for me. read more

I have been Ax Throwing 3 times now and had a ball all 3 times - Once as a Girls Night Out and 2x with my teenage son who really enjoyed it and you know how had it is to get them away from electronics. All of the coaches were very helpful and safety was always a priority. Working on planning a Team Building there next. read more

Nice folks. Just had a great end of year sale on firearms. There is an arcade where the kids can play all kinds of games. Nice range with reasonable pricing. Recommend buying a membership to save you money if you are a regular shooter. Don't forget to get some bar-b-que. Great brisket sandwiches. Most of all, the staff is very considerate and cooperative to new customers and helping them get started. Well worth the time if you have to drive a few miles to get there. read more

Range is about a year old and is in phenominal condition, well lit, very clean and very well ventilated. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. The prices on the guns are very reasonable. And, it doesn't hurt that it's right next to a pretty decent BBQ joint. I will definately be shooting here on a regular basis. NJG read more

Lots to see here. This place is pretty new at the time of this writing. There's a bakery, a Dickies BBQ, gift shop?, and gun range. FYI - You are NOT allowed to have steel casing ammo, buckshot, or birdshot ammo on the range. Why? I'm not sure. Shopping around for a handgun for range shooting and protection, I shopped all stores dealing with firearms in Forsyth county. I discovered this store, Country Folks Superstore in Cumming and it is fabulous. Their gun prices for what I was looking for were the cheapest anywhere. Even cheaper than the gun show. Their staff was unbelievably knowledgeable and personable. David helped me with my purchase and Brandon showed me the ropes with the shorting range. They treat you like family. Just had a gun class with Steve Silvey. Awe inspiring comes to mind. I had a private gun lesson at a different place 2 years ago that cost me alost $400. Today I had a REAL lesson. I bought the lesson as a reward for my 14 yr old son and I wanted a refresher for myself. It cost much less for both of us COMBINED to learn with Steve and I learned infinitely more. Not only is the cost better, my son and I had a blast!!! Steve is patient, understanding, knowledgeable, kind, considerate and just amazing in general. The range is clean, comfortable and SAFE! I have been going to the gun range for the past 3 months. I have been very happy with the fees ($15 M-Th, $18 F-Sun), the short wait time, and knowledgeable staff. They have a man who monitors the range and is an NRA instructor. He has always been willing to help offer some help to improve your shooting. They offer classes and private instruction. The price on guns and ammo are about average. I used to go to Bullseye, but got tired of having to reserve a lane. This is only a pistol range and they don't allow steel-encased bullets to protect their backstop. I am very pleased there and will continue to be a customer. read more

Gun range staff is very friendly and helpful. I'm somewhat of a beginner shooter and I felt very comfortable here.

This is a good place to go to spend the day shooting/shopping and even having lunch or dinner. Lots of stuff to look at and the lanes are very well maintained. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable. The only reason I'm giving only three stars is because I find them to be a bit on the miserly side. For instance, if you buy a gun and ammo they offer you a lane for 5 for an hour. Pretty good deal, right? Well the normal price is 18 and if you have a second person sharing the lane it's another 12. So you'd think you'd get the lane for 17, right? No, it's 23. Because they apply the 5 lane to the second, cheaper person. OK, so at least you're getting something off but it put a bad taste in my mouth. read more

I was in this store yesterday and was very disappointed . I was looking for a pair of boots for my young son. We were in the store the better part of an hour and NOT ONE associate even acknowledged the fact we were there. We had 5 different associates walk past us with no asking if we needed help. Good people at the store, and willing to help you. They do not, however, stand behind the firearms they sell. I've bought several weapons at this store, and when one just plain didn't work, they told me to go to the manufacturer. When I contacted the manufacturer, they told me they couldn't do anything about it, and basically called me a liar. I went back to Country Folks, and the message I got was "oh well, bad luck I guess" I like the idea of a Christian owned and operated store, and I want to spend money there, but it will be a while before I do. read more

Wouldn't really know how the store is, came to shoot at the range when they opened at 10am, and they told us right at the door that the range itself doesn't open till 11. Didn't have time so we left without even going inside. That's about $600 lost for them, and weekly customers too. read more
