He is also NYS certified to use these chemicals. When he showed up is where the problems started. First of all, he pulled up in an unmarked SUV, and I thought he was a friend of the neighbors. Then, when he came into the house, he used the little syringe type of dispensers to place the chemicals on the corner of the windows. Guess what, the ants come from other places as well. Anyways, then he went outside and sprayed. Great. He then gave me a receipt and told me that in 2 months, he would call, or I could call him for re-application. That raised a red flag - who calls whom? Then he said that if we have any issues, to call him back in a week, and he would come and re-apply. Needless to say - we have issues, and 3 phone calls later, and 4 days, he has yet to call back. I give up, and am moving on. Chalking this up to a loss. Finding the point of entry then installing a one way door so that the rodents cannot get back into the home has proven itself to be an efficient and effective way to deal with the problem.
