They also do catering orders. I stopped by 603 Panini & Sub recently for takeout. I ordered the Palermo Panini ($10.99 plus tax) with a bag of Lays Potato Chips included. My panini was made fresh and hot & ready in 7 minutes. The hot pressed panini was firm outside with melted gooey provolone cheese, nut free pesto, grilled chicken pieces & roasted red peppers. This panini was really great and I will now put this Concord sandwich shop on my lunch rotation!

We both had the Haddock Basket - they really know how to fry! It was a generous filet, and my wife got onion rings, while I had the French fries. Their onion rings are very good, as are their fries. The waitress was very nice - friendly and attentive, but not pushy. We'll be back!

Wonderful little lunch stop!…read more It was full of locals and regulars and on a wait for lunch. At that moment I knew I had picked a good spot! We chilled with the folks up front for a good bit before getting a table. It seemed we were the only people that had not been here 30-40 times before. Most people didn't even want menus and the sweet server ladies just brought them food without conversation at all. It's kind of old school feeling inside. It's an open kitchen and you can see all of the action. Inside is all wooden and rustic. It reminds me of my grandmas house in Camden TN. Not sure why. It's just really comfortable in here to me. The tile and fireplaces make super cozy. This place has some of the best chili that I have had in a long time. I dig the fact they give tortilla shops automatically with the chili. Win!! Thick and meaty and oh so filled with spice and love!! Cheese on top was a nice touch too. Really liked it! My French dip was fucking killer!! So damn big too! I could only eat half of it because of the the fire ass chili I had already eaten. French fries were battered type. Nothing wrong with that!! I drove around with this sandwich for two days of travel and ate it on the road later. Stupendous French dip!! C had an open faced roast beef sandwich. FIRE!! The green beans were so pretty and fresh too. She could barely get 1/3 down, lol. It was a ton of food. Economical! Hometown feel! Good people working and eating here! I love it!! I'm not even sure I could find the place again. I sure am glad I did the first time! '26 -39

I love the food here!…read more The Eagle Square Deli is my favorite independent sandwich shop in Downtown Concord. This shop is operated by First Impressions Catering. They offer a good variety of deli sandwiches, quiche, salads, homemade soups, fresh baked goods, chips (Deep River), cold drinks, and coffee (White Mountain Gourmet Coffee). Daily specials are offered. The prices are moderate, sandwiches priced $6 to $7 range. There's table seating inside this cozy shop and outside seating on the Square. I stop in here for lunch at least once a month for some good eats. I make the special trip from my office in the Heights to Eagle Square. I usually order the Half Sandwich & Soup Combo ($5.99) and a huge fresh baked fudge brownie ($1.99) for dessert, which is cut right out of the baking dish upon ordering. The Wild Bill's roast beef, hickory smoked turkey breast, and chicken breast sandwiches (with choice of toppings and bread) are my favorite sandwiches here. The cold chicken breasts are thick and very tender. The soups change daily and I've been very impressed with each delicious soup I've tried on each visit. I've had the thick and creamy New England Clam Chowder, Chicken Alfredo Florentine with Tortellini, Turkey Vegetable Rice, and Tomato Vegetable with Tortellini, all were excellent. The huge fudge brownie for my dessert is the best part of lunch, a very soft and big sweet treat to kick off the afternoon. Today, my coworkers' eyes lit up when they saw this huge brownie. I did share some of my brownie and recommended that they should check out Eagle Square Deli.

I actually struggled awarding 3 stars, as I've definitely experienced "better"....the definition of yelps 2 stars!!! The two sandwiches I shared today, turkey and tuna, were average.....nothing more!!! Yes, there was a decent amount of turkey and tuna on the sandwich, and the prices was fair, but it was as simple as you could get. The menu offers no originality, nothing other than what you can get from the supermarket deli. The brownie was fresh out of the oven, and was similarly good sized, chewy, yet not too sweet (for my taste). I came here expecting wonderful creations, and all I got was lunch. In the square so no parking except on Main st. Otherwise pull in behind and enter from Low St.

They offer a great variety of handcrafted loose leaf teas, and tea accessories. The cafe menu offers hot & iced tea drinks, hot & iced coffee, sort of smoothie drinks, grilled cheese sandwiches, paninis, homemade soup of the day, quesadillas and burritos. The place is very cozy which is order at the counter and there are two tables. I stopped by here for a light to go lunch recently. I ordered the Grilled Cheese Sandwich & Broccoli Alfredo Macaroni & Cheese special ($7 plus tax) and a cup of hot (ceylon) tea ($3 plus tax). I was given the hot tea first, which was a great drink to wake up. My sandwich and large cup of macaroni & cheese was ready to go shortly after. I drove back to the office to enjoy my lunch. The grilled cheese sandwich was hot pressed with 2 slices of American cheese (orange & white), bread was soft. The soup of the day was quite good, which had soft macaroni, broccoli florets in a creamy cheese sauce. I finished the hot tea drink with my lunch. I will definitely make a stop back to this cozy tea cafe when I'm traveling in the Pittsfield/Barnstead area.
