Absolutely wonderful service!!! It was my first time visiting Freecoat and I had an amazing experience. I was not familiar with the "Builder in a bottle" but my tech was very educational! I also had questions before my appointment and the owner responded nearly right away with all my inquiries answered. Really cannot recommend enough. They really take their time and make sure it is done properly with the health of the nail at the forefront of their mind! Will absolutely recommend to friends!!

I like the idea of not using the drills and the healthy aspect of the salon. I spent $45 on a gel manicure. The salon itself is very clean and great Lee decorated. When you were at your table you see the flyer with all the different types of nail Art that they do.When I tried to add a simple nail art at this salon the employee said you have to book those when booking your appointment. I have never had to book a nail art while booking my appointment, you tell the technician normally when you are there. Great colors on my nails but after 48 hours I already have nails that are chipping. I don't think I will be back because I cannot afford a $45 manicure that's not going even last me 48 hours. I guess I will go back to SNS and maybe some on the spur nail art.

The chrome is great, but the chipping not so much. This was at 24 hours and now at 48, it's much worse.

I wanted to love this place. I've been following them on social media for quite some time and finally made the appointment. Before arriving, I confirmed it would be okay to bring my daughter who is four months old. They reassured me it would be perfectly fine (I see babies in their posts all the time!). When I arrived they had me leave the baby in get seat, which was fine for about twenty minutes and then she got bored/frustrated. My manicurist was not very into kids and I could tell the receptionist didn't really want to handle her. She did pick her to and hold her/carry her around, but it seemed like it was a big inconvenience. I felt like my manicure was rushed. I started after my friend who was there with be and finished before her. I had chrome powder put on, but it is already chipping off. With a $20 upcharge, I'd think it would stick around for a couple, especially with a shellac base and top coat. I also feel my cuticles weren't cleaned up very well. I'm fairly disappointed since I spent a good amount of money and drove to Mt P for the service. The space is adorable and the idea is neat, but I can't see myself returning. The customer service online is great, but the experience I had was nothing to write home about. I'm mostly disppointed because a friend who went with me got a fantastic manicure and had time put into it.

As others have noted, the lack of fumes alone is a great selling point for this spa. My friend and I went for pedicures, and as she is currently pregnant, it was important to find a place where she felt comfortable. Online booking was super easy and I received several appointment confirmations, which was helpful. The space isn't very large, but is nicely decorated and parking is plentiful (in the Harris Teeter shopping plaza). Upon arriving, we waited a few minutes to check-in and then were given gel colors to choose from. We were seated quickly and had a really nice pedicure experience. We're both runners and have runner's feet, but our technicians took a lot of care with our feet. I can't recall the name of my friend's technician, but I had Jasmine and both techs were great! They were personable, fun to talk to, and it was apparent that they had a good relationship with each other, too. It's always nice to be in a place where the employees seem to genuinely like and respect each other. Upon completion of our pedis, checkout and payment was quick. I will definitely be back.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE Mylkbar. Yes, prices are a tad higher than a regular salon. However, this is the type of place that I go to ACTUALLY disconnect, enjoy my time, relax and get a sweet mani along the way! The place does NOT smell like there are fumes floating all over the place and the staff is great and attentive. Everyone is super friendly and they make sure that you are completely satisfied. The color selection is quite impressive and don't forget the nail art! Go with your friends or go alone! You will love it. Promise.

I have to say that I'm really sad to have to write a not so good review about this place. I was super excited to try the non toxic nail salon here in Charleston. The experience overall was not to bad but I just feel like my nail lady might not have been that experienced. My overall main annoyance was she did not do my cuticles at all and now it looks like they are just a grown out manicure . I have to say with these prices I'm totally unsatisfied and even though I really love the idea of non toxic polish I will not be returning :/

My roommate and I had a wonderful time at Mylkbar! I got the So Fancy manicure with the rainbow nails add on and did gradient blue nails. The girls there are so sweet and we had a lot of fun talking with them. And the salon is soooo cute!!! I love how they don't use those electronic buffers! Mylkbar is my new nail spot and I can't wait to go back!

I love the fact that you can book appointments online & rarely is there any wait when you come here. It's a very hip trendy joint with cool modern decor and Teil art all over the walls. The staff are friendly & efficient, doing everything to accommodate the clients specific needs. I had a deluxe pedi today & it was awesome, relaxing and she did a wonderful job. Sadly this place does not do acrylic nails which is fine. They do however do gel on your regular nails. They have a lovely selection of hip nail colours to choose from. I loved the fact that I was only on there for 45 min and got a great pedi. It's a little pricey but worth it for a special occasion or to take out of town guests for a real treat. The owner came in and come round to speak with all the customers. Nice touch.

I was treated to a birthday pedicure here and it didn't disappoint! The store in front is adorable and it certainly doesn't hurt that you're greeted with rosé. My pedicure was fantastic and I love that the salon is eco-friendly. I managed to chip one of my nails later that night by kicking it into something before it was dry and they promptly scheduled me to fix the nail I messed up. Excellent customer service all around and I will certainly be back!

Such a cool vibe! Super positive experience and my nails turned out absolutely PERFECT. I've never been a repeat client when it comes to nail salons, because I enjoy checking out different ones. BUT after visiting Mylkbar, it's the only place I'll get my nails done from now on.

Today was my first experience at Mylkbar and I couldn't of asked for more! My nail technician, Britannie, did such a great job and was super easy to talk to. I had a polish change pedicure and a gel manicure. The salon is so clean and cute, it's precious. It's not a super busy hectic nail salon, at least not on Monday. The salon doesn't smell like harsh chemicals or nail polishes. I love Mylkbars aesthetic and goal as a salon, they hit the mark! I'll be back soon! Great selection of colors too! Their in house sugar scrub is so nice too!

Had such a wonderful experience. I can here with my fiancé to get our nails done and buffed before a photo shoot. The staff was super friendly and wonderful for a first timer like myself. They truly went above and beyond in my book to make the experience as pleasant as possible.

I had a lovely time with my stylist Qiana. The entire vibe of MylkBar fits my style- eco friendly, non-mechanical and serene. I felt good about treating myself to both a mani and pedi with less chemicals and a very friendly staff. Qiana takes her time, pus attention to details and is very friendly. I'll be bringing my daughter back for her turn.

The worst nail experience I've ever had! The nail tech was so rude that I left in the middle of my service.

Goodbye to my former self and a WARNING to those contemplating what I once considered a small…read morecosmetic procedure ....I just wanted to take a moment and share my story to spare someone from going through what I've gone through; the life long complications and the realization that I will be permanently disfigured both aesthetically and functionally. The face in the mirror will NEVER be the same as it was prior to January 30th nor will my soul. On January 30th: Celebrating my 40th Birthday I decided to get filler in my nasolabial folds (wrinkles between the lips and nose). Feb 1st: Incredible pain and white blanching/bluish tint. Told it was normal. Bruising. Feb 2nd: Realized what I was experiencing was skin necrosis and the tissue on the left side of my nose was dead and the cartilage was collapsing in on itself. This was from my own "gut instinct" that it wasn't bruising as I was told; the black skin was not going to "grow back". A laser treatment or IPL was not going to reshape my nose, as I was told. For the next several weeks I was shuffled to a "private" waiting room as to not let other potential clients see the damage that was done to my face. My self esteem, at an all time low, was further shattered by being hidden from plain view because the "med spa" didn't want their bottom line to be hurt. After that "follow up", where I was yet again told everything was fine and put "Aquaphore" on it; I made the decision that it was time to seek proper treatment from a competent medical professional. What followed was many months of not being able to leave my house unless it was to get my wet to dry bandages changed. The possibility of infection and further cartilage damage was my sentence to spend the next four months within the four walls of my home. In May I underwent my first reconstruction surgery. Skin and cartilage was taken from my ear to reconstruct the interior of my nose. This helped me be able to breath again (50%) from my left nostril. It was the first of many surgeries and procedures that will occupy the better part of my life. To hear the words, from a well respected facial reconstruction surgeon, that I will be permanently disfigured- was a tough pill to swallow. Yes, I made the ultimate decision to under go the procedure. However, I was never warned of the risks. I had absolutely no idea what to look for. Had I been properly informed of ALL the risks; even if they are considered rare, perhaps I would had made a more INFORMED decision. I was never given a waiver to review or sign. I never was verbally told of the dangers. I'm letting you know the risks and dangers of what some consider a small "cosmetic" procedure. If you are going to go that route; please consider going to a board certified surgeon. Someone that is familiar with the product they are injecting in your body. And if there is a complication, they are knowledgeable to be able to help you before the damage becomes permanent. The sad part, the "med spa" that did this, never once offered to pay ANY of my medical bills. Never heard from them again after the last follow up in mid February. I guess they thought I would go away and they were above the law. But doctors take a Hippocratic Oath to uphold specific ethical standards. This was not the case at Aestedispa in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Shame on you Dr. Christy Cone. I hope you don't do this to another client and hide behind your fake smile.

I'm ecstatic I found this beautiful medical spa. The space is charming , spacious, and immaculate…read more. The staff, is gracious and accommodating. Jenn, who did my Botox, knows her stuff, to say the least. I just moved here from California and was married to a MD who had a medical spa in his practice... I have had many people inject me, but no one was even close to having the amount of skills that Jenn has. My Botox results are perfection ! I couldn't recommend this place more.
