Man, I wish I'd been staying long enough to take a look. The seating outside allows for respite under the big trees, whilst wee ones of the customers next to you run around playing in the autumnal air, trip over and apologise to the pigeons, "Sorry birds!", and then find sticks that catch wolves and feathered friends. (True story.) It really doesn't feel like you're in London. And that walk up that steep hill will make you feel like you've earned this little slice of green, warm, and peaceful paradise. In general the cakes are baked by the owner himself and the service is very nice. They do not have a very fancy collection of baked stuff, but if you like your muffins and Victoria sponges this is the cake shop for you.
