Fred's did my wedding, and I was so happy with how everything turned out. Renee talked to me about what I wanted, and I wasn't sure what flowers were what, and she was very helpful with everything. I only gave her a few specifics (autumn colors and purples, green hydrangeas and red berries for texture) and the flowers I didn't want, and she went right at it. The price for my bouquet, plus five bridesmaid's bouquets, toss bouquet, two arbor pieces, and corsages and boutonnieres came out to be about average or lower from what I saw by getting estimates online. They turned out awesome, and the woman who brought the flowers stayed to make sure everyone's flowers were pinned and placed correctly. Renee also suggested that she bring some vases to have the bridesmaids place their flowers in, so that they could decorate the buffet and guestbook tables instead of getting separate pieces for those. A great idea, especially since that meant they didn't have to deal with the flowers after the ceremony. I can't not begin to explain how impressed I am with the customer service (and quality of flowers) from Fred's Flowers! Blown away!! I live in Austin (originally from Tempe) and recently sent my step mom an arrangement for her birthday. Unfortunately they had left town early for the weekend when they tried to deliver the arrangement. Someone from Fred's called me and said they were unable to deliver (no one was home). I explained unfortunately I had just found out they had left for the weekend and just asked to leave them with the neighbor if possible. The woman on the phone then asked me when they would be returning and offered to redeliver a new arrangement the following week!! She wanted to make sure she got fresh flowers and had the opportunity to be able to truly enjoy them. That was above and beyond the customer service I was expecting! It was my fault I hadn't checked that my step mom would be around and was not expecting a business to be so thoughtful and considerate of my mix up. (And the flowers were beautiful when they arrived, my step mom loved them!!) I will use Fred's again and again in the future for all my floral needs for family and friends in the Tempe area. We recently celebrated our 52nd anniversary and had a big party (delayed due to Covid). Fred's Flowers was recommended to me and we visited their store in Tempe. Jodi was our sales person and listened carefully to our color choices and flower preferences. She and her co-workers were able to produce gorgeous arrangements for the head table, the guest tables, bridal and matron of honor bouquets, bouquets for the 2 bridesmaids, and groom and best man flowers. They delivered them to the hotel and placed them in the proper locations for us. We were delighted with the results and would highly recommend them. Amazing!! I had a small last minute wedding and my grandmother told me that I had to have flowers. So we went in on the same day and asked for about 6 different things to be done within hours. At first the lady told me that they were unable to do that but seconds later, I'm assuming the manager or owner came out and asked what I needed. She said she would get it done no problem. I am a single mother with two jobs and a Top 10 in the state Track & Field Champion.... Busy is an understatement during the spring. It was about 3pm on Prom night when my son's date's mother text me to ask if I was bringing her corsage to the photo location or they were going to do the exchange at dinner..... Well, I forgot to order a corsage at all so of course, I said, "Yup! Photos for sure!!! See you in TWO HOURS!" and then had a meltdown.... I went to the usual suspects, Safeway and Frys and they had 40 dollar premade corsages that didn't match my kid or his date.... They had fake corsages for 30, ugly. I ran to AJ's and the florists were just standing around doing nothing, there were three of them and they refused to create a corsage for me saying they had already did so many for the orders for the day and offered me one that hadn't got picked up the night before.... It was white and nothing special, for 35 dollars. My kid and his date were wearing red, I asked if they could do any red accents and they said no. I got on Google Maps and searched Florists and Freds Flowers came up as the closest and the one that closed in exactly 42 minutes.... I called and the girl that answered was super pleasant, I explained that I was the worst mom in the world and asked if they could possibly help and she asked me to hold...... When she came back she said, YES!!!!! She asked what my colors were and really took some time to hear what I'd like.... I jumped in my car and rushed over to pay about 31 dollars for the most BEAUTIFUL corsage.... They were so nice and I apologized a bunch for being so last minute but they put together such a beautiful arrangement as if I'd ordered in advance. THANK YOU FRED'S!!!!! I requested a centerpiece at Thanksgiving from Fred's flowers. It was a beautiful basket with arranged yellow and red teacup roses and daisies along with other harvest ornaments. I have dried some of the flowers for occasions in the future. More recently I requested a funeral arrangement. It was moderately priced as well as on time time. Everyone was friendly and helpful, my son was waiting to get a boutonniere for his prom date, but a normal rose just wouldn't do. It was a fire and ice themed prom and he wanted something that represented fire/flames. He told the ladies of Fred's and they said, oh we can create you something that you will love! When I heard they can create something for him, I though oh great how much will that cost me, and guess what? it was only a few bucks more than the typical red rose. I am very picky and not only were they half the price of the other shops I looked at, they were much more knowledgeable about the current flower trends than other shops. My friend moved to AZ two years ago and a few of us girls who are from CA send her flowers every year for her birthday. We used Fred's flowers for our wedding, Renee and the rest of the staff were very friendly and patient. I went in multiple times since I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted for our bouquets, they took the time to bring in flowers and do a sample arrangement so that I could physically see what they would look like the day of the ceremony. I appreciated all they did since I know I was not the most helpful during this process, what I envisioned what not coming across in my descriptions. The day of the ceremony when they delivered the bouquets, they were even more beautiful than I had in my head. The vague description of I want fall colors from the Midwest somehow got them to create the most beautiful ceremony and table arrangements, I really couldn't have asked for more on our special day. WOW!!! AMAZING customer service. This company is the epitome of what service to the customer should be. I live in another state and learned last minute, literally, where my grandfather's viewing was at. I called Fred's Flowers just before closing and explained my situation. They didn't even hesitate to help me out; they said yes we'll get the arrangement together and delivered before the service. The staff got right on my request and said they'd get it there. At this point, I don't care what the arrangement looks like ( I bought something "off the shelf" due to time constrains), I'm just happy they were willing to help me the way they did. I received the flowers on time and in the amount that was ordered however in all of the arrangements there were multiple wilting flowers. In the large arrangements it was definitely more obvious as they were pointed out by others throughout the memorial. 2 of the smaller arrangements that I ordered did not fill the vase they were placed in and the flowers began falling out of the vases before the event even started. Overall, I am disappointed at the quality of flowers and the technique of arrangements that were provided for the cost. read more

The online arrangements were really nice and reasonably priced. Because I needed the flowers within 2 hours I called to place the order. The person answering was very nice and helpful. They had the arrangement ready when I arrived, and I thought it looked better than what as online. The person who rung me up also gave me a box to put it in; to keep it upright, bit also to catch any water that might splash out. Very considerate. So impressed with Fred's Flowers! I placed an order for delivery to my friend's work (placed the order Sunday afternoon), to be delivered Tuesday. Come to find out that my friend has Tuesday's off!! I sent an email Sunday evening explaining that I would like to change the delivery date to either Monday or another day later in the week.
