I cannot recommend Fredrickson Lanscape enough. I randomly stumbled across them on instagram and have been following Ben's projects for probably a year now. We inherited a weird rock garden in our front yard and were finally ready to fix it up, but weren't exactly sure how. We had quoted out some hardscapes and it was way more than we were hoping to spend. I saw Ben's seating space at his own house and figured we could achieve what we wanted with something very simlar. Ben came out to our house and took measurements along with our list of wants and general look we were going for and got us on the schedule for a design. We were super happy with what he came up with, made a few minor tweaks and scheduled install for a couple of months later. This is where I think Ben and his team really shined. Every single day they were on time, extremely communicative and friendly, and left the job site clean. We've had a lot of work done on this house and until now I didn't think it was possible for a contractor to do all of those things and still be reasonably priced. After completion we decided to have Ben's crew help with some of our backyard as well. read more

Our front yard is small but it needed a massive makeover including new irrigation. It was a pleasure to work with Fredrickson Landscaping from start to finish. Ben and his team are friendly, professional and artistic. Ben really understood what we wanted and then exceeded what we thought we could have. And then they went above and beyond and did the internal courtyard with the extra time. We are now asking him to come back and do the back of the property! read more

Ben and his team did a great job with installing and reconnecting our hose bib. They were able to get the job done quickly and a very reasonable price. (Other folks were quoting me at almost triple the price). There some hiccups with some of how the old system was installed but Ben was able to fix those things for me as well. I would definitely recommend Ben for your landscaping project. read more

I appreciate how Ben and Erin are responsive and communicate throughout the whole process, sending reminders prior to the project start date. We love what Ben and his crew did with the yard, and so does our whole neighborhood (besides people who just want to stick to grass). We had a dilapidated lawn of dying grass and gopher mounds. Ben and his team transformed it with rocks, boulders, a dry river bed, drought-tolerant plants, and drip irrigation. Now we have a yard that we can feel proud of. read more

Fredrickson Landscape is dedicated to an exceptional customer experience. From my first contact with Ben, I immediately trusted his industry knowledge, professionalism, and excellent communication skills. Working closely with Susan Rojas Landscape Design, Ben magically brought her vision to life. Everyday moved quickly and efficiently as the entire team seamlessly built the design. Along the way, Ben always checked in with me on progress, plus communicated clearly about schedule and budget. I continue to be impressed with the finished work and cannot speak highly enough about the whole crew being so accomplished, polite, and meticulous. Ben and his team did a beautiful job on the rehab of portions of our yard which included demo, soil prep, irrigation, plantings, artificial turf, rocks and electrical troubleshooting. Ben was able to incorporate a few plants we had available and to make the new areas/plants blend well with the existing. The whole crew was timely and neat. Ben was a good listener and very responsive. Also, he replaced a dead plant right away after I sent a pic. I highly recommend Fredrickson Landscape and would definitely use them again. read more

From the first meeting to the final walkthrough, Ben, Erin, and the team did such an incredible job. We had a vision of what we wanted and Ben delivered something even cooler than we could have imagined! He really hit our design vision on the head - delivering Palm Springs vibes to our mid-century home and pool. He has such a great eye for unique plants and colors. Now that it has been a couple of months, the plants are growing in so nicely too. Also they are just the nicest people to work with! Definitely get on their books! Ben and his crew just finished a 2-day install of 17 trees on our property - including 9 trees on a steep slope. I can't speak highly enough of Ben. From start to finish, he was very responsive, knowledgeable and just an all-around super friendly guy. His pricing was reasonable. He answered all my questions. He put up with my multiple change requests (thank you!). And everyone on his crew worked their tail off. I think one of the best measures of a great contractor is how they treat their crew. Ben clearly cares about all his workers and they clearly enjoy working for him. You can tell they all enjoy what they do. Ben even took extra time to demo a jackhammer for my 6 year old son, which made his year! I recommend Ben without hesitation and will hire him again without question. Thanks again, Ben! read more

I reached out to Ben after receiving a referral as I needed to make my front yard drought friendly. Ben was very easy to reach and communicate with and was ready to jump in as soon as we figured out our design. He offered a few options but also recommendations. Although he was booking out pretty late, he was able to squeeze in our project earlier than expected and then completed the job even faster than we anticipated. His workers were also super friendly. There were aspects I really wasn't sure of, but he assured me it would look great and he was right. I'm really happy how the yard turned out AND I know I am helping do our part to reduce water usage. I would definitely recommend Ben. read more

I came across Ben from seeing his work at a friend's house. From there I started following Fredrickson Landscape on Instagram and was blown away by the work Ben and his team does. While I had a small project for him, I wasn't sure if it would be something Ben would take on, but not only was he more than willing to work with us, he was very accommodating (even with me postponing our project). Ben provided top notch advice and service just like I was a "larger" project. My patio is BEAUTIFUL and most importantly, water efficient and easy to maintain. read more

We love our new yard! We had a smaller space to work with that we wanted to make more functional, less maintenance, and overall look better. Ben delivered just that. I can't say enough great things about Ben and his crew and the entire process. I was starting with a blank slate in my front yard and had yet to decide on what I wanted. Ben met with me initially face to face to hear some of my ideas. I had a definite budget and he worked with me to get me exactly what I asked for within that budget. I also had very specific plants/tree that I wanted. Not only did he find the exact plants/trees I requested, he chose ones that had beautiful shape and were the perfect size. Ben and his crew were super respectful, on time every morning and at the end of each day everything was cleaned up and put away. I was skeptical that the project could be done in the scheduled 3 days but they totally nailed it. I felt like I was on one of those home landscape makeover shows. They did a fantastic job! I highly recommend Ben and his company and plan to use his services again in the future. Thank you thank you thank you! read more

When we finally decided it was time to landscape the long neglected slope alongside our driveway we were somewhat apprehensive about what could be done with the topography, and of course, concerned about the cost. What a blessing to find Ben Fredrickson! He came up with a marvelous design using the kind of plants we liked at a price that we felt was very reasonable. The bonus is that, busy as he is, Ben was able to work us into his schedule just in time for an outdoor event we were having. Ben worked right alongside his skillful, hardworking crew on planting day and the results were wonderful. Ben Fredrickson is knowledgable, approachable, flexible, and I am sure that you can count on him to meet any of your landscape needs, large or small. read more

Ben Fredrickson is our "go to" landscaper. We have used him now on three projects! We would never choose anyone else to help us with our large lot. He's amazing! His prices are more than reasonable and his attitude is positive. He wants to please you and is a good listener. He also offers ideas and advice, which is so very helpful. Ben Fredrickson Landscape and Designer Susan Rojas teamed up to transform our difficult, street-facing hills into a beautiful focal point that serves as an entrance into our neighborhood. I have had so many compliments from my neighbors but the accolades belong to Ben and Susan. The layout and placement of the rocks and plant material is gorgeous! Ben is fun and great to work with; I had a couple of unusual requests for some landscaping problems that he jumped at the chance to solve. We have a large koi pond in our backyard that I wanted to distribute the nutrient-rich pond backwash to this new front hill planting area; Ben went the extra mile to setup a new easy-to-use and ingenious system, as well as making my existing solution so much better for the rest of my garden. Just fantastic! I absolutely recommend Ben Fredrickson for his pricing, service, knowledge and obvious integrity. Plus, and he is an all-around good dude. :) read more

Ben just completed plan A of a job plan he has for us. We can not be more pleased with the work he and his workers have done for us. After being stood up a few times with a previous landscaper, I stumbled upon Fredrickson landscape on Instagram. I messaged them and they got back to me right away. Ben came out the next day and gave us great ideas. He sent me a quote within a few days. The prices were reasonable so he began work the next week. Ben's communication and sticking to his timeline was better than any contractor we have worked with. He installed lighting and even did extra work for us that is on our plan B. His workers were very friendly and worked hard to make sure we were pleased. I'm sharing his info with everyone I know and would give them 10 stars if I could. We plan to do irrigation and planting with them next. Call them you won't be disappointed. read more

We hired Ben to landscape our front courtyard. He is very personable and very responsive which makes him easy to work with. He went above and beyond for us: Built custom planter boxes, drove to the OC to get a specific plant we wanted, did our low voltage lighting, planted fruit trees that we requested separate from our landscaping, and fixed sprinklers that he noticed needed repair. We loved his work so much we are hiring him to landscape our backyard as well. read more
