The first time I saw the Frederickson Landscape team's work was on my friend's front yard in Poway, San Diego. It is so well done and beautiful. I began following their Instagram profile long before I had my own yard because I knew I'd be reaching out one day. In December 2023, I got my chance to reach out and had an exploratory discussion with Ben about what to even expect when it came to landscape/hardscape and design. He was honest about it, and for that I'm thankful because it gave me a foundation to work with when collecting quotes. Our home is a new build and we did not have our move-in date until April 2024. Ben made it a point to keep in contact and to take a look at the property with us prior to moving in so we could get a better idea on pricing, have a design made and get on his schedule all within 3 months (there's a wait if you want to work with the best! But, it was so worth it.) Ben ended up being the most competitive when comparing price to the whole package (design plan + hardscape + landscape) and was super responsive, answered all my questions and most importantly kept all our 'wants' in mind (we needed budget-friendly space perfect for our guests, kids, dog, and bbqing). Compared to some of our other neighbors who hired different companies that took up to 6 weeks to complete, Ben and his team knocked out our project in a total of 4.5 days. We were enjoying our backyard in no time, and WOW it's beautiful and so very functional we absolutely love it. Every time I go out there we have a 'pinch me' moment because it's a dream.
