Stopped in to check out this place for the first time. Got the grilled cheese steak burger, cheese curds and fries. They are known for the extra fries seasoning you can add. The seasoning was really good but everything else was just average. Didn't love it or hate. Nothing wowed me but I'd say they are better than the typical fast food. read more

2nd visit here and was as good as the 1st! Had the Prime Rib Steak Burger and fries that were perfectly prepared and served hot. Service again was friendly and helpful while the store was clean and comforting. We will certainly be back! read more

I highly enjoyed my visit to this location. The staff was all smiling and very friendly. As soon as we ordered, the cashier was telling me about the shakes so I got the chocolate one to start out with. We also got a double bacon burger, one with tots one with fries. The food came out great. I think I'll try another shake once we come back soon. read more

All right. Well, the place was brand spanking new. The staff was very welcoming. The menu seemed interesting. Complete with a black bean veggie burger. And that's about where it stops. It's really nothing to set this apart from any other fast food chain and frankly, it's more expensive. I upgraded my black bean burger combo to have cheese curds, which were unremarkable but cost me two dollars more. My meal by the time I had a medium beverage, a black bean burger, a side of cheese curds, and a mini dessert cost me close to $25. The black bean burger quite frankly sucked. I've been happier grilling something myself and the dipping sauces of their fry sauce, spicy fry sauce, and jalapeño sauce all tasted pretty much the same-- like an over processed and yucky mayo. The other meat burgers I saw coming out, looked uninspired, and basically limp. I think you'd get better flavor and variety going to Wendy's. And I do think Burger King's flame grilled is better. Overall, though, if you really want to have the win, go to Culver's for their butter burger, and really creative variety of daily custard. Other reviews mentioned that the place was packed. But about three hours before closing, and I stayed and dined in for about an hour, and they were absolutely absent of customers. Including in the drive-through. I see this going the way of Rally's... I really wanted to like it and have someplace new to go. read more

Freddys just opened and I'm so excited!! I love their burgers and shoe string fries. They are still training employees at this location, but I mean they just opened so we didn't mind the extra wait. It was packed but the food came out nice and fresh. We ordered 3 pc tender and fries. read more

Burgers and shakes are decent but their sides are very lackluster. Fries get cold quick and cheese curds are soggy. Chicken sandwich and Hot Dogs are just MEH. But their seasonal fish sandwich is AWESOME so definitely get one of those if on the menu. read more

i love the food here ! The shakes are great! But the service. oh man!!!!! i have been here 3 times. The first is when they opened so i could understand why it took forever. Second time they had been open for a while and it still took forever. It even took forever to just order the food. the girl was nice but wow it took a really long time. Last time and unfortunately will probably be the last time. we didn't even order just left. Ample parking right next to Sam's Club in a busy shopping area. This new to me, and this area custard and burger fast food place was generic, but spacious enough inside. Even semi-busy there was good room among the tables and booths. For a "Now Open" spot the self serve Pepsi machine was already not working so drinks came from the open to customer viewing in back food prep area. While the employees seemed to all be generally busy service wasn't that quick, organized, or accurate for several I saw. My order was filled accurately, but, I feel misled or miss-charged. I ordered what was described as 2 beef patties with cheese and prime-rib , mushrooms, onions, cheese curds(up charge), and a Diet Pepsi (not having Coke, the real thing, is always a slight negative for me). The order taker asked if I wanted 1 patty or the 2 as the menu board said. I elected on just 1. I assumed, my error, I guess, that it would be cheaper. It wasn't. My drink came to the counter several minutes before my meal. Condiments, napkins, straws are all on the counter to take. Prepackaged ketchup etc. The burger patty was exceptionally thin, even by fast food standards. Everything about the sandwich was very greasy, slippery and awkward to keep together and eat. Even the mayo was runny. Eating it as a sandwich was pretty tasty. Eating any of the parts that fell out, picked up and eaten individually, were just alright. The cheese curds were dense and fried adequately, but, nondescript. Watching the prep and presentation of the custard looked good. I didn't try it. I'd definitely recommend getting the 2 patties. The ambiance is undistinguished casual. You bus your own mess when you leave. No one swept the floors while I was there. Overall, one of those places I see no reason I'd choose it again, but, no distinct reason to avoid it if others really wanted to go there. I'm no real fan of Culver's either, but, they seem better functioning for a similar experience and meal. read more

I stopped for the first time ever just to try their classic double steak burger. This comes with mustard onion pickles and cheese of course. The patties were very flavorful and crispy at the edges. I was so excited to get a Freddy's in Hilliard, but the service and cleanliness of the restaurant are not great. We ordered a combo meal and a sundae, and they apparently canceled the combo meal after they brought out the ice cream. 20 minutes later, we asked and they made it right away...and then served it with cold fries. Most of the tables were dirty and you can pretty much ice skate on the greasy floors. I really hope it gets better because I am a huge smash burger fan. The burger was good by the way. read more

I honestly was disappointed. First of all, the restaurant was dirty. Sad considering it just opened. Tables needed cleaned. Two employees meandering through the restaurant getting trays but showing no initiative to clean tables when there was a line and they were busy. The employee taking our order gave us cups to fill our soda but the soda machine didn't work and apparently hadn't been working. While I love the tiny fries, they were super salty. I believe their burgers were all double, I could be wrong they may have singles but I didnt see it and the burger was salty. I got the turtle sunday and despite every picture showing whipped cream and a cherry, I got neither. I saw others did. Also the fudge and caramel were just clumped on the side. I think I would just go to Culver's. Similar but they at least bring your food to you and it's less salty. read more

Wanted to try Freddy's in Hilliard, OH. I am not impressed. Food was hot, but just ok, portion size of chicken sandwich was small. Price for 2 med. Pepsi, cheese curds, all beef hotdog and the chicken sandwich came to $24.00. Too expensive in my opinion. Culvers which is close by, is a better choice for: price and value. Customer service at time of visit was ok, staff was not rude. Other comments say location is dirty, I will agree. Floor needed sweeping/mopping. Cannot see myself coming back without major change. Per my receipt, I ordered in the drive through at 6:51 PM. I did not receive my food until 7:46 PM, almost an hour later (There were only four cars in the drive through). I don't mind waiting a little while if the food comes out fresh, but it didn't. The fries, which I tried as I was leaving the restaurant, were hard and lukewarm at best. After driving 20 minutes home I realized that I was missing an entire meal that I paid for. I tried to call the restaurant for assistance but the phone went immediately to a full voicemail box 3 separate times. I will say the shake and part of my order I did get tasted pretty good even if it wasn't hot. Overall, a simply unacceptable experience. read more

We were excited to try Freddys, but walked out, so disappointed. This was our first (and now last) visit, and when we ordered our food, the cashier said that she would get our drinks for us. I thought that a bit strange, considering there was a soda machine available in the dining room. Not once was it explained that the soda machine was down. She took another order after hours, and then delivered their drinks to that table, but not ours. When she saw us looking at her, she realized that she had forgotten our drinks, and went and got them. We didn't know if staff delivering drinks was standard procedure or not. Didn't they just open recently? How can their machines be down already? The food was OK, but the fries got cold quickly, and the onion rings were bland. What really stood out, however, was the fact that people with carry out orders were receiving their hot food and having to wait 10 to 15 minutes more for their dairy items, because they were so far behind. There is no way I would've walked out of there with 15 minute old food if I were them. I would've insisted that my food was remade after I received my desert. We saw this happen with multiple customers. The worst part, however, was the manager. She realized a mistake made by a staff member and proceeded to raise her voice so the entire restaurant looked at her. She then went on to reprimand the young staff member in front of his colleagues and customers, while she waved her hands in the air, almost in his face. He stood there and took it, but if that had been me, I would've told her what to do with her gestures. Not once did the manager round in the dining room to check on guests. A perfect example of a manager who just doesn't understand how to engage with people respectfully and is clueless of how she is perceived by others. Poor management, so-so food, and long waits make for unhappy customers. We determined this was a loss and won't return. Why sit through this mess when I can do down the street to Culver's, where I'm greeted when I walk in the door, the food is made in a timely manner, and managers are not jumping down the throats of high school and collage ages kids. Been here twice. Once in February and again in April. Service was slow both times. I ordered the Reese's Royale and didn't put peanut butter sauce on it or offer a spoon. I am seeing more and more laziness or due to lack of sense in fast food places here in 2025... First the service is very slow which I have never experienced in such a large town since the early 90's. The sandwhiches are covered in a paper enveloped that just squished the sandwhich and causes soggy bread. They always forget there special freddy sauce that comes with the sandwhich. The worst part is having to bag your own. The workers do not put icecream or drinks in to go containers they put it sitting by the register. Instead there are bags on the shelves for you if you find one. In to go orders the icecream is served first? Set on counter melting to liquid as the order takes over 15 minutes to cook. The place had no one else in line and was not busy but the girl fixing the icecream took her precious time mixing and stiring what was supposed to be a milkshake. For eight minutes that is. Inside tables were dirty sticky stuff on floors. The longest time we ever spent in a fast food place. By the time we watched, waited, and helped bag the food was cold, icecream was mush, and they still forgot my sauce!!! read more

Was excited to try, but very disappointed in the visit. Visited on a Sunday mid afternoon, wasn't busy inside or drive thru. Placed my togo order inside and waited. Noticed a manager doing a orientation for new hirer, but also noticed the front cashier was drowning with guest waiting to place their orders. The manager actually had a order and coached the staff her order number was not called (it was) and even said her burger was cold (only siting on the counter for 3 mins). My wait for my order was over 20 minutes for one combo, but observed multiple orders placed after me was fulfilled before mine. I've managed QSR and fast causal dining restaurants, this has been a horrible experience. Restaurant was dirty, the only saving grace was the food. Even being cold still had some good flavor to it. Hopefully management will take some urgency to help not only their team but also the guests. 20 mins is way to long to wait for a combo thru a QSR restaurant. read more

There were six customers in the restaurant when I entered at 8:15PM. I was behind one person in line as I waited to order my food. It took the cashier no less than ten minutes to ring up the person in front of me as there was confusion regarding the change for her cash sale. This cashier was really confused and called the manager over for help. The manager did not remedy the situation as he did not seem to understand the transaction. The customer was patient, but the cause of the problem was that the young cashier simply could not calculate the customer's change and did not explain it to the manager. As the next person in line, I was there for ten minutes before I even ordered my food. All else was fine as my burger and fries were hot and delicious. The delay in taking my order was irritating and really detracted from my experience. Overall, food was great, but the delay while taking my order was inexcusable. read more
