Hazelnut and dark chocolate ice cream and Mangonada
    Nadira Y.

The ice cream was delicious here. The hazelnut scoop was a great mix with a scoop of the dark chocolate. The mangonada was great too! It had actual mango bits and tasted great with the tamarind and tajin seasoning. The interior of the shop could use some updating. It wasn't that great of a space inside and seemed congested without other customers there. The service was fast.

Awesome spot! After a grocery store run next door at La Michoacána, my sister recommended we stop by Diamonds for a sweet treat. This place is massive! I really dug the purple decor and all the Mexican art. In addition to an incredible selection of ice cream in legit Mexican flavors, they offered paleta popsicles, aguas frescas, and snacks like elote. We shared a strawberry horchata which was absolutely delicious. Very refreshing and not overly sweet. A large came in at $3.75 I was too full to try another offering but will look forward to returning! Overall, a wonderful experience that brought vibes from my recent month in Baja.

I love their ice cream, specially the mango flavor. However, this time around, I ordered the Mangoanda, and it was absolutely delicious. Just the perfect balance of sweet and sour. Can't wait to go back and order it again.

Diamonds Ice Cream has a huge selection of ice cream, fruit popsicles, various desserts and sides that are inspired by Mexican dishes. I particularly love the fruit popsicles!!!!

Pretty cool experience at Diamond's last night! I've always heard good things, so after dinner, we headed over for a birthday treat. It's a pretty decent sized ice cream shop with ice cream, paletas, and a lot of other options that I couldn't quite follow, which leads to my only real complaint - it was really hard to tell what you were looking at, or what was on offer. First case contained some cake selections. There was for sure a tres leches, and a couple of other fruit topped options, and then a snack counter that did some variations on hot cheetoes and elote. Then was the frozen dessert counter. I don't know what was in the first case, it looked like a granita, maybe? Followed by ice cream in some great looking flavors - passion fruit, guava, corn.... and then the paletas. We ordered some milkshake kind of delights, with fruit and topped with tons of whipped cream, but the price and description didn't match the menu, so my friend just pointed and said I'd like that one and she would like the strawberry kind, please. I'm sure the staff would have walked us through, but it was within an hour of closing and we were a large group, so I didn't ask too much. it took about 10 minutes to make the shakes, and I was not expecting mine to be topped with a slice of cheese cake. I asked the lady at the counter for a box and she grabbed a box and a glove and boxed that up for later for me! The shake was really good! It was not as thick and heavy as a traditional style milkshake and had a great strawberry flavor! Overall, we had a fun experience and I'd love to go back for the paletas!

Mangoneada but with guava ice cream and fruit added with chamoy. Sooo good

Ice cream was sooo good! The lady that helps was nice and the place was really clean.

I've visited Diamonds twice, once I had a mangonada and the second time I had a strawberries and cream paleta. The mangonada had nice fresh fruit, flavorful sorbet, and a nice spice from the tajin. There are so many paletas to choose from, but for my first one I went with something I knew I'd like. The texture was really nice and creamy with the fruity zing from the strawberry. They also have a nice selection of agua frescas and food as well that I'd love to try in the future.

She went with mango sherbet on a sprinkle sugar cone (birthday-approved choice), my wife ordered Madagascar vanilla on a sugar cone, and I couldn't pass up the chocolate coconut almond chip. Every scoop was rich, creamy, and exactly what you expect from Graeter's -- that classic, small-batch, handmade quality they've been known for since day one. The shop wasn't very busy, which made things even more enjoyable. The guy who helped us was incredibly friendly and helpful, and he went above and beyond by not charging us for our granddaughter's ice cream since it was her birthday. That kind of kindness really sticks with you. After ice cream, our granddaughter had an absolute blast in the attached playroom. It's decorated with fun ice cream-themed items and includes a giant banana seesaw, a huge ice cream cone jungle gym, and even an ice cream sundae slide. It's such a great touch for families and made the visit extra memorable. Great ice cream, friendly service, and a fun atmosphere -- Graeter's continues to do it right. We'll definitely be back.

If you love ice cream, like 'can't live without you' love for ice cream - Jeni's is a must. There are many locations - check the website to find your bliss. Sure, you may have seen a few pints in your local grocery store's freezer and that is well and good - but visiting a scoop shop gives you much more selection, including combining multiple flavors in a single bowl, waffle cone, or whatever delivery vessel is your preference. You enter the shop and are hit with the smell of fresh waffles being made and formed into ice cream envelopes. Then you focus on the ice cream case and all of the flavors. All. The. Flavors. If you are really in doubt, or simply cannot decide - free samples are available. You can make this the perfect experience by carefully choosing your order. As for me, I go a little 'mavericky' and decide between 2 and 3 scoops and simply choose what sounds interesting. I like the non-edible, basic bowl, which comes with a delightful wedge of crisp waffle to indulge. I have never regretted a single choice. Sure. It's more expensive than a soft serve cone from some dairy den - but it is a dozen times better and the price is similar to a slice of pie or restaurant dessert. Yes. A love of ice cream can rationalize anything. If you are dairy-free, there are a few flavor choices for you also. I highly recommend trying their seasonal flavors - they are inventive and absolutely fabulous.
