It would have been helpful for staff to make suggestions or quickly go over menu options. But, everyone is doing their best on a stressful evening. We ended up with just scoops in a cup, but I'm excited to explore the menu more next time and try a sundae or dipped waffle cone. We tried 3 flavors total: campfire s'mores, cookie dough, and mint cookies & cream. Campfire s'mores was definitely the star of the show with large marshmallows and graham cracker chunks. The cookie dough was also good as the base tasted like cookies and the dough pieces were large. I wasn't very impressed with the mint cookies & cream, but I can't put my finger on why. I just like the flavor at other locations better. Overall prices seem pretty on par with other local premium ice cream shops. Although it seems this location is cheaper than the others around central Columbus when looking at online ordering?? Overall, looking forward to coming back to try more unique flavors and seasonal specials!

Upon walking towards the window we were greeted by a teenage girl and asked if we could have a few minutes because it was our first time at Steves. My order was the usual a small vanilla cone with cherry dip top, it was a nice size for a small as it took me more than a few minutes to finish it and the dip top was crisp and melted in my mouth. Just like eating a bowl of maraschino cherries Yum. My girlfriend ordered a small twist with sprinkles and a pretzel and thoroughly enjoyed both especially the ice cream. I can see us stopping here a number of times before the summer is up as the park we meetup at isn't to far and I ride my bicycle past here a lot. Pro tip- They have a drive thru.

It isn't made in-house and so no surprises on taste. However, I do appreciate that it was taken fresh from freezer. I am glad that we found this place. We will be back in the future. The restaurant is bright, welcoming and very clean We were seated in a side room with the bar, a large projection TV screen with the volume on MAXIMUM and two smaller TVs advertising menu items. Those TVs featured some seriously delicious looking items! Service was ok. Drink refills were not offered and I needed one. We both ordered lunch specials advertised for $10.99 but billed at $11.99. Hubs ordered the lunch chicken bowl with rice, black beans, grilled chicken and corn. The corn was served refrigerator cold. The rest of the meal was hot. Overall the food lacked seasoning. I started with a cheese empanada. Expertly made and fried with goody cheese inside. The empanada was served with a dmall side of green sauce that I thought was cilantro based. I ordered the lunch Pabellon Bowl with pork, white rice, black beans and a sweet plaintain Everything on my plate was served hot but also without seasoning making it bland. I used the empanada sauce to add some flavor to the pork and rice. In summary, I wanted to love this restaurant the advrtised images on 2 TVs are gorgeous but the food was bland. The projection TV volume made conversation difficult and service could have been more attentive. This was our first expusure to Venezuelan food and probably our last. I still stand by the fantastic empanada. I would return for that alone.

The panna cotta was good, mostly because of the topping. It is not something I would order again, being kind of bland, but to no fault of the kitchen. I'm not a custard-y kind of gal, but wanted to try it. I would definitely come back here for another meal.

Everyone from the hostess to our server was very friendly and nice. They have a full bar and a decent selection of beers. My wife and I decided to share their whipped ricotta appetizer and their French onion burger. The appetizer came with thinly cut crusted baguette. The ricotta cheese was mixed with some strawberry flavor. It wasn't bad but I would have preferred it to be thicker in constituency. The burger and fries came out perfectly cut into half portions for each of us, which was a really nice touch. We had asked for the burger to be cooked medium rare and I think it came out more like a medium well. The patty itself was a bit dry. This may be a one off issue and we hope to return to try some other dishes.
