Let's start with the ice cream, I thought it was very solid, not much more to say about it but the milkshake was incredible you can ask to get whatever you want in you milkshake you can get any ice cream on the menu and you mix as many flavors as you want its what brings my review up to 5 stars. Graeter's is fairly basic for an ice cream store. There isn't any magical scenario or crazy circumstances. You walk in, you order from the available flavors, you eat, you leave. So then it becomes "what about covid?" Masks on before I walked in - not "when I walked in" but before. I didn't notice any hand sanitizing stations, but that could be because I was focused on getting ice cream. Of the times in the past, they were always good - fast, no "here is a half scoop whoops" but good scoops of ice cream in a bowl or a cone. If you like their flavors, you won't be disappointed. Pretty basic, right? The inside - they have removed tables to encourage social distancing. It may not be perfect, but it's necessary. Thankfully I didn't have to witness any maskholes try to challenge their mask policy. Their outdoor is nice and spaced out, so you can enjoy the good weather days. And it's ONE WAY! So don't be like me and remember to grab napkins on your way out. read more

You can count on them to have reliably good ice cream. As a non-chocolate eater, I've never been impressed by their flavor selection. They definitely cater towards those that love chocolate. I am normally very patient with restaurants regarding ordering pickup and curbside especially in the current world environment. Graeter's website is atrocious. Because of their website issues I called the Dublin store and the Powell store to try and place a prepaid curbside pickup. I let them know that their website had issue but they didn't seem to care. For two days I logged in multiple times. I tried three different browsers and even called their corporate offices to try and get it worked out. I don't live near a Graeter's and was trying to purchase a gift for a family that is distancing. So in summary their location customer service and their corporate customer service is not very helpful and rather horrible. The other area is Greater's website that must have been built in the late 80's. It stalls at the payment page. I haven't seen this level of "I don't care" attitude in a long time. Most businesses that have developed that type of persona have struggled and gone out of business. The attitude is if nobody come in I will still get paid. There is no cognitive relationship viewed between the customers money and the business. I have read on line that if you don't go in person don't bother. read more

Hands down the best Ice Creme on the planet. I have ate a lot of ice creme in my day and no matter how many times I have this, I always want more. I am currently living in Florida, but am an Ohio native and LOVE Greaters!!! I like it so much I have my family ship it to me in dry ice at least once a year. Some of my favorite flavors would be, Buckeye Blitz, Black Rasberry Chip, Mango Sorbet, The Cherry Ice Creme, and just vanilla. I have also had the banana split and other items as well. The ice creme is a little more expensive than say Dairy Queen, but it is totally worth it. This place does not cut corner when it comes to taste and flavor. The best part about the location in Powell is that they have a City BBQ right next door. So you can go and get great bbq and then have desert as well. You can't go wrong with graeter's. I lament the lack of artisanal ice cream in Chicago, although the scene is getting better. Every time I come back to visit family in Ohio I insist that we go here. There is a flavor for everyone, but my personal favorites are the black cherry chip and the raspberry chip. This location has a nice small patio so you can eat your ice cream outside. read more

I had a junior scoop of Cookies 'n Creme and a junior scoop of Buckeye Blitz. Yum-o! I enjoyed both of them equally. I wish they sold the Buckeye Blitz and Cookies 'n Creme in the pints out here in Colorado. They have other flavors (Cookie Dough, Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry Chocolate Chip, Mint Chip, etc.). I'd be in trouble if they did... especially after looking at the nutritional facts. Oh well - I will burn it off with all of my Ironman training. This is my favorite Graeter's location by far! Service here is always top notch and it's about as close to familiar as it gets. Where else do you get to see the little leaguers meeting after a game and other little ones feeding ice cream to Spike the dog? Not really sure who Spike the dog is but it sounded good at the time AND they do have dog nights which are typically funny. Also, a lot of the ice cream is Kosher. I'm just happy I don't have to go all the way to Main St. or Dublin for it! It's Graeters...portions are huge and not nearly as expensive as some other ice cream shops around (you know who you are!) These are young adults so there is turn over but this location consistently hires friendly conscientious staff that always give me a warm welcome. I've been here so many times that I'm surprised I don't own a part of this franchise. I love the Buckeye ice cream that they have and so many others. The atmosphere is so loving and warm. I see a lot of families that come to this particular location and just to see the kids faces when they get the ice cream that they want makes my heart happy. The staff is very ingratiating and kind. If you have any questions about any of the flavors that they have, they take time out to explain each one of them to you which I think is very special and has that one on one individual touch. The ice cream is always fresh, cold and tasty. They have a rewards card that is very beneficial and also gives you discounts. Some of my favorites have been the black raspberry chocolate chip, black cherry chocolate chip, strawberry and mint chocolate chip. Okay ... I love chocolate. Their chocolate chip versions have been more dark chocolate chunks which more than satisfy my chocolate craving. Their staff have always been willing to let you sample a taste before choosing. I usually get their dish version, but they offer waffle cones if you prefer. And the scoop sizes are pretty generous scoops. We went because we had been told that this was the place to go for real down to earth ice cream. So we went.......not impressed at all. The flavor wasn't very rich or creamy at all. Kind of put me in mind of something you could get at the grocery store (Breyers to be exact) and although the mango sorbet/sherbet was good - it was close but no cigar. We stopped by here for a treat after the zoo. We do not have these near us in Kansas City but was definitely impressed to say the least. The service was great and the ice cream tasted so good! Ice cream may just be my favorite food. So when I found myself in Columbus, I was pretty excited to try out the big names Jeni's and Graeters. I have many friends who are from Columbus who swear by Jeni's and who swear by Graeters. So I was pretty excited to see for myself which Team I would be on. When it comes to the ice cream itself I got the Buckeye Blitz and the Hazlenut Gelato. Honestly I really wasn't that impressed. I mean the ice cream was good! It was nice and creamy, and had a good flavor to it. But was it amazing? Was it the best I ever had? Unfortunately not. I think it's average ice cream.
