Visiting my family in the area this summer they took me back to Dari point for ice cream (also came last summer) The ice cream was good, I love the mini buckeyes (wish we had those in CT). Will visit here every time I go visit them!

Another great place for ice cream. It's a locally owned and operated ice cream store. They have a good size menu of frozen treats and hot food too. It also never closes even when it's cold. The service is pretty fast. It has a better atmosphere than any corporate ice cream chain. Much better atmosphere and people seem happy to see customers. Of course it gets busier in summer, but they still get business through the year. A lot of the customers are young children. The place is located across the street from an elementary school. It's common to see the place swarmed with children being rewarded for school or sports achievements. They continue to operate in the winter months by selling nuts and other candy for the holidays. It has a good seating area. It's enclosed so it's good for colder months. The parking area is small so you may have to park on the street to get there.

Dari Point gets a solid four stars from me. I love that Delaware has so many creamy whips, we have a handful and Dari Point is just as good as the others. Dari Point is located at the intersection right after one crosses the railroad tracks on 36/37 to get towards Mejier and is right across the street from Conger Elementary. The parking lot at Dari Point only holds a few cars, but there is plenty of parking on the street. The night my girlfriend and I went it was packed with a line out the door, I already knew what I wanted to get my standard small vanilla ice cream with a cherry dip top whereas my girlfriend needed a few minutes to order off the vast menu. The lines moved quick and young teenage girls were very nice. My girlfriend ended up ordering the sundae cone and enjoyed it, however would something else next time as long as it has sprinkles. I enjoyed my cherry dip top as it tasted of Maraschino cherries and had a nice crisp crunch when I bit into it. A number of people were ordering hot food from Dari point and it looked good. Dari Point does accept Cash and Credit Cards.

Outside social distancing. :-)

It was a nice day yesterday and my in laws were visiting from out of town so we decided to go out for ic cream. My father in law never turns ice cream. This is a cute place that's been here a long time. They have a rotating special that is homemade. I've been here 3 times and each time I've gotten the black and blue ice cream cone. It's a twist of black raspberry ice cream and blue raspberry sherbet. It tastes as good as it looks. They also serve all kinds of food too but I've yet to try them. Next time we're going for lunch and dessert both. Their prices are very reasonable and there's lots of parking. If you want to stay and eat they have several picnic tables.

The "papa smurf" is similar but includes the top of the ice cream covered in cherry dip and a whipped cream beard.

Ciao Cafe. You make…read moredelicious cafe lattes and have a wide array of lipsmackingly good pastries! What's not to like? My favourite is the pistachio creme filled croissants, followed closely by the strawberry and cream croissant. They have a wide array of sweet and (I suspect?) savoury bites for your morning breakfast or afternoon pick-me-ups. The decor is nothing to write home about, but it's nice to just sit on the stool, gaze out the window on to the busy streets, and sip your cuppa as you people-watch and munch down on a lovely pastry.

They have house made gelatos, pastries, paninis, many drinks, and more. The girl at the counter was super sweet and answered all my questions and made some recommendations when I asked. We went with an iced sweet mocha, which was pretty good. They also sell pumpkin spice lattes and can basically make anything that's not on the menu either to your liking, which is great. I thought it was great that they offer cappuccinos, etc. Italian style. For food, we tried the cookies and cream gelato (small for $5.50, a bit pricey IMO), veggie panini ($10, totally shareable among two, best served after panini press), strawberry marscapone croissant ($6.50), custard filled donut (bombolino, found it to be extremely dry and custard was dried out too, did not finish), and tiramisu (small for $5, made in house, a staff favorite). I appreciated that they make their gelatos, there were several flavors to choose from and you can try before committing. I wanted a meat panini, but all the meat ones had pork in them, so opted for the veggie one, which was great flavor with the cheeses and pesto. The bombolino donut was a fail and the least liked item, I would not get it again. Perhaps, it was an older batch item? The tiramisu was great! I would head over for a sweet treat when nearby again.

Upon walking towards the window we were greeted by a teenage girl and asked if we could have a few minutes because it was our first time at Steves. My order was the usual a small vanilla cone with cherry dip top, it was a nice size for a small as it took me more than a few minutes to finish it and the dip top was crisp and melted in my mouth. Just like eating a bowl of maraschino cherries Yum. My girlfriend ordered a small twist with sprinkles and a pretzel and thoroughly enjoyed both especially the ice cream. I can see us stopping here a number of times before the summer is up as the park we meetup at isn't to far and I ride my bicycle past here a lot. Pro tip- They have a drive thru.

I ordered the swirl soft-serve ice cream with sprinkles in a cup and a soft pretzel. He ordered a cherry dipped vanilla cone. We were both pleased with our orders. I enjoyed that the sprinkles were fresh and the ice cream was flavorful and smooth. I also tried my boyfriend's cherry dip and it tasted like maraschino cherries. Yum! The soft pretzel was fine. It isn't made in-house and so no surprises on taste. However, I do appreciate that it was taken fresh from freezer. I am glad that we found this place. We will be back in the future. Also, this place is busy and so they are doing something, right!
