Editing my review I hardly ever give 1 star reviews and I'm so disappointed in this location, we have gotten ice cream here many times but tonight was first time we tried their food and it was uneatable. I ordered a cheeseburger deluxe double combo $7.79 My fries were hard cold and looked as if they had been sitting in a pan all day. At first glance of the burger I took off the slimy lettuce and took a bite into a WET bottom bun, disgusting! My husband got the flamethrower double burger $8.89 Had the same slimy lettuce, burnt cold burgers. His additional $1.19 cold onions rings. Sadly we will now be going to the Lewis Center location from now on. I want to support Delaware businesses but it's so hard when Lewis Center seems to care more about their businesses. read more

I come here often because I live up the road. In the summer they are open till 10 but if you go anytime close to 9 and later then they will have the drive through menu light off and will ignore you for 5 minutes to try to get you to go away. The line takes a while, and it's mostly run by teenagers but the majority of them are nice. UPDATED IN APRIL 2020 Pam is by far the sweetest worker I've come into contact with! I got a number five double cheeseburger and I wanted plain just cheese but they put everything on it didn't fix the order and they gave me burnt onion rings they hurt my teeth I tried eating them. The fries were soggy and didn't taste good and the chicken tenders were just not good and the kids meal did not come with our milk they forgot everything and the customer service is shit they were just running around the kitchen cluelessly in there when I looked in the window do not eat here unless you want to get food that you shouldn't have to pay for wrong messed up or left out over and out. read more

I wouldn't recommend going to this DQ. There's a pretty rude lady who works here. Not sure if she's the manager or not. We went for blizzards tonight and not only was she rude to us over the speaker but told the customer behind us that she couldn't understand what they were saying, then proceeded to make a comment about their language to someone next to her. Definitely not the best customer service. FIY if you are wanting a blizzard from them apparently half the ones they have on there are not available and you can not order from the past 8:15 PM otherwise you are a burden. :) I feel bad for the kids who have to work there! read more

I watched a grown man walk in 2 minutes before me with his wife and daughters. Was this the owner? He apparently locked the door a half hour before the posted closing time of the dining room. When a teenage boy came to the door he explained that was a common practice because they were short staffed. which I found weird since I could see at least 6-8 teen boys ang girls playing grab ass.(literally) So I went through the drive thru and got my meal. When I asked for a lid for my sundae the little girl at the window rolled her eyes at me. Just bought an Ice Cream Sunday here. It had bottled hershey's chocolate topping on it. NASTY! As if that weren't bad enough, the chocolate topping was watered down and the ice cream was grainy. After tip, I paid $3.60 for it. Never again. read more

One of my favorite locations because it was so close to my former home. My only complaint is the wait time in the drive thru but my food is always fresh. I would wait forever for fresh food. The chicken tender basket with fries is and will always be my meal of choice. I am also a sucker for a blizzard with cheesecake bites and caramel. read more

Horrible service. Extremely slow whether you go through the drive thru or go inside. I just waited 23 minutes in the drive thru for 1 blizzard. 23 minutes for ice cream? Nothing's more disappointing than having a craving, going through a drive-through, fulfilling that craving, then realizing that your favorite Heath Bar Blizzard has been sabotaged by Reese's Cups! THE NERVE! So, if you're a person who not only wants your craving, but wants it done right, you call back and have it fixed, right? Right! Good ol' Dairy Queen was nice, asked if I wanted to drive back for a new one or be mailed a coupon for a free blizzard, and did their darndest to make me a happy girl. Starting autumn a tad early I fell in love with their pumpkin pie blizzard. While our ice cream was completely melted and could not have passed the upside down test, I actually enjoy it like that at home so four stars fit the bill. read more

This place is so slow. I live and work close, so I've been here several times in the past 2 years and it is always slow. There is no reason. Today I went through the drive thru just after 11AM and ordered a $5 lunch. They gave me my ice cream first, then I waited about 5-7 minutes for my burger and fries. This is the second time I've attempted to order an ice cream cake from this location. The first time was in 2015. I didn't post anything at that time because they fixed the issue. But they spelling the names wrong on the cake. This time, I called on a Thursday night, for a Saturday pick up. I called Friday afternoon to confirm the order and check spellings. I ordered an ice cream cake for my 3year olds birthday party. When I got there to pick it up, they didn't have it - at all and claimed they Didn't even have an order ticket for it. I went to this location wanting some fresh food and some ice cream but when I got to the window, I was served otherwise. Our blizzards were a little watery and the workers seemed to just be playing around not doing their job. I finally got my food after waiting for a while and one of their great workers said she spit in our food and told us to "enjoy it". I saw her name tag said Maddie so I hope she gets fired for spitting in a customers food and being rude like that, we did absolutely nothing to provoke her so we're so confused as to why she did it. read more

I have been to this location a few times and it is always hit or miss. When you drive through the drive-thru the wait time is long. Recently I stopped by and the card reader was down, I rarely ever carry cash . No DQ that day. Today I went to drive-thru around 3:45 and they didn't even acknowledge I was there so I drove off. DQ food is pretty consistent at every store you go to, I have no complaints with the food at this location. The service in the drive-thru is sub par, so that is why I am only giving 3 stars. read more

I stopped in this evening about 8:45 for a burger and fries. I was first concerned when the girl taking my order said wait a minute I'm trying something new when putting in the order. I ordered a burger w cheese, k,m,mayo,lettuce and tomato/fries and drink. I was the only one in the store so it couldn't be that difficult. The workers all seemed to be messing around and talking. I sat down and over the next 20 minitues I waited only 2 people came in for ice cream. After 20 minitues I walked up to the counter. and asked the girl who took my order what was up She wanted to know what I wanted. After I picked my jaw off the floor I said my order. She walked back I saw another girl opening a burger and inspecting it. She the rapped it up and put it in a bag with an order of fries she seem to find. I got to the car and the fries were cold.
