And when things go wrong? I was recently given the wrong box for a watch I purchased at closing time. (I got the watch all right, just the wrong box.) It was resolved before opening the next day. Perfect! Everyone in the store is wonderfully helpful. I usually deal with John F and John P while looking at watches, and every time it's like visiting old friends. Why go anywhere else?

That excuse doesn't change the fact that I wasn't even acknowledged when I walked in. Greeting a customer takes seconds, and the indifference I experienced spoke volumes. I make it a point to support small, local businesses when I travel, but this kind of dismissive and selective service is unacceptable.
