Taylor was friendly and helped me measure a couch (went and got a tape measurer) and then carry it to my small car and helped me try and get it in my car. Came in for a last minute evening run with my 1 year old daughter. My shopping was usual. Lots of sales. Noticed they started offering fruit for kids while parents shopped. While I didnt grab a piece, I'm happy to see it come to Burien. But what really made my trip was my cashier, Donovan! He was super friendly. When I left I felt good, and he genuinely made me laugh. We are very regular customers at this location and find service at the deli section at this Freddie's horrible! Wait time is inexplicably long for the number of employees behind the counter. Beyond lackadaisical attitude by the staff while customers stack up waiting to be assisted is irritating to say the least. Today my wife watched three customers walk away in disgust, tired of waiting. I've experienced the same. Can't imagine the business they are losing overall. read more

They got great selections with food like chips,tomatos can, fruits and veggies and cat food. But the one thing that's very wrong is the cashiers there, not all of them but there's this girl name molly and another girl with long brown hair, and glasses, and kinda short. I don't know what I even did but they were acting like middle school girls being very catty towards me, molly was complaining to another coworker about me having picky cats when I just went up her with all my cat foods. Excuse me for being a paying customer and purchasing a bunch of foods for my cat because I love them!!!! The other girl at another time with the glasses look and act like a middle school gossip bully, when I was just waiting for my stuff to be check out. I couldn't believe it so many times I'm just speechless. While she was gossiping about me instead of doing her work and checking me out, the other girl laughed, who was Asian and also has glasses, then at the pharmacy there's this girl name claribel who didn't treat me fairly either, she tried to say to me have a good day but couldn't even spit that whole sentence out to me. What did I do to deserve this. Nothing. Pure cattiness. I don't know why but I guess that's just the way it is, but as a PAYING CUSTOMER I should be have to put up with it so that's why I'm writing this review. I've never been to a Fred Meyer with unfriendly employees and this store is no exception. I like this store a lot because of its huge selection and the quality of products. You can feel it's not Walmart from the atmosphere. My only criticism is the fried chicken. It is most of the time not crisp, bland in flavor and many times hard. read more

The deli puts the barcode on top so when you scan it, the product (like BBQ sauce) runs out. The pharmacy is incompetent. They loose your prescriptions, forget to order, leave you on hold, etc. read more

When I can't make it to Costco for gas I pick this Fred Meyer as a secondary option. It's outside of the city of Seattle so it tends to be cheaper than anywhere in the city (other than Costco) and they just put in new pumps in the last year. My main complaint with this location is that they direct cars through only one side of the pumps. What this means is that there are always long lines on the right sides of the pumps since most cars have fuel fill access on the driver's side. If you have a passenger side fuel cap you are golden, but if you color outside the lines and flip around the back to access an empty pump but going what they consider the wrong way you get the evil eye from everyone else. The store itself is o.k., parking lot is always full and lots of shoppers tend to use the middle of the aisles instead of picking a side so you tend to have a hard time getting around them. It does have everything that you might need though between the grocery side and the dept. store side though, so pretty convenient one-stop shopping on my way home. read more

I'm talking about the Fred Meyer pharmacy in burien. This is probably the second or third time I went in there and they never ever have my order ready even after I called them ahead of time in the morning. I go in there late in the afternoon, and it's still not ready?! This is so wrong business wise. They are suppose to have it ready especially after you call them. They act like we don't have something else to do besides them wanting me to wait for 45min.?! The girl responded to me by saying do some shopping for 40min. I came here for my medicine, the way they do business is not right. You have to have it READY. Are you kidding. They try to say they are short staff but still the girl on the phone told me she would have my medications refill and ready. Nope. Yet again. Every time they are never ready and prepare for my medication when I walk in. It wasn't just me. I saw other people looking quite unhappy waiting for their medications. They really do need to be on point because I do intend to keep coming back to this pharmacy because I also happen to shop here too for convenience. That's the key word. Convenience. And they weren't giving me that in the pharmacy. read more

I will never again purchase furniture from Fred Meyer. I made a furniture purchase during a big furniture sale they were having. When it came time to have my furniture delivered after spending $160 on a delivery fee, and waiting a week, the couch they tried to bring me was ripped. They offered to give me back 20% what I paid for it to take the ripped couch. Why would I want a ripped couch? After spending 40 minutes on the phone with management. I was told I'd have to receive my money back or wait until they had more couches in stock which would be one week. I said that wasn't going to work for me, I was than told they were going to have a couch FedEx from a Fred Meyer in a different city which was not far away and it would be delivered to me ASAP. It has now been a total of three weeks since I made my purchase and I still do not have any furniture in my living room nor have I received a call back from Fred Meyer's. I have filed a complaint with their corporate office. Every time I call I get a placed on hold for a long time and then get told somebody will get back to me. read more

My review is for this fred meyer jewelers location. And really this 5 star review is for PETE. My husband and I went there a year and a half ago to purchase his wedding band. My husband had bought my engagement ring At another location and they hadn't talked to him about insurance on my ring. When we purchased my husbands band Pete asked if we wanted the Insurance and explained what great benefits it had we decided to purchase it and then we told him we didn't have the insurance on my ring cause my husband wasn't told about it. Pete was awesome and worked hard on trying to get us the insurance for my ring. He was able to return the purchase resale the rings to us and add the insurance. My husband recently had an accident at work and broke his ring almost in half (he works in labor work and luckily the ring saved him from cutting off his finger!) I called and luckily Pete answered and told me to bring the ring over. He remembered my husband and I and asked about our married life :) and by the end of the day the ring was back in our hands and looked brand new!! We are so grateful for Pete's help and will definitely keep purchasing from this fred meyer location as long as he is there! read more

I am really impressed with all of the healthy options this store is now stocking! They have a whole section dedicated to healthy living with non toxic products , many of which aren't tested on animals such as shampoo and conditioners (even a non toxic chemical free dandruff shampoo), deodorants, toothpastes and soaps. They have tons of vegan options like cheeses, milks, yogurts and frozen food options. They also have a prett large organic foods section which I love because I mostly eat whole fruits and veggies. Because of all this I choose to go to fredmyers over any grocery store very near to my house. Please don't get rid of the healthy fromaldehyde free all olives. Besides Fred Myers in burien the closest store with healthy options and products like this is the PCC in west seattle off of California Ave. Keep it up Fred Myers! One item I have really been missing however I still the Victoria's kitchen brand "almondaid." Now that stuff was amazing! read more
