My daughter and I stopped in her looking for maternity clothes and some gently used baby items and clothes. First off, the store is packed, and it is so full it is hard to really look at things. Secondly, the prices are ridiculous. There were used one piece pajamas for 9.99. I can buy them new, on sale for that price. Baby equipment was also overpriced. There was a small selection of maternity clothes but they were so expensive we were turned off looking any further. The store smelled like a goodwill (musty). I will skip this place and go to garage sales or head down to Heaven Sent in Federal Way instead. read more

My mother-in-law passed down the word about Lollipops a while back, and I had to check them out... She always finds the BEST deals for the kids here, and I'm a sucker for consignment shops! Lollipops is located on the outskirts of downtown Burien. Be aware that parking is mostly street parking. I've never had an issue getting a spot, but I don't think they have a dedicated lot. Lollipops has EVERYTHING. Clothes, toys, baby gear, books, shoes, and even clothing for women/maternity! It's almost overwhelming how much time you could spend in here. Tuesdays are by appointment only, so if you're trying to be super careful about COVID, that's the way to go! I've scheduled an appointment just by reaching out on Instagram - it's that easy! Everything here is of great quality and the prices can NOT be beat. Your dollar stretches FAR here! I've snagged all kinds of things for my two year old and three month old - from sleepers, to outfits, to snowsuits and shoes! I was really disappointed in this resale store. My daughter found a coat she liked for $29 and it turned out there was a hole in the pocket and one of the snaps wouldn't work. She really wanted it, and I figured I could sew it, so I asked for a markdown. The employee said that employees aren't allowed to give markdowns for damage, only the owner and she wouldn't be back for a few hours. I was told this was normal for a resale store. I drove here from Renton, and asking a customer to come back is nonsensical. I think this is a ridiculous policy, especially when it is already a very high price for a used coat! At the other kids' resale store we go to, they mark it down if there is an issue. On top of that, I found a nice shirt I liked and was going to buy it until my daughter pointed out there was a giant stain on the back of the shirt. The owner doesn't seem to have very good quality control, or customer service policies. read more

Everyone raves about this place so I figured I'd check it out. I live in Kent and we have an amazing consignment store so I thought the burien one would be great. Nothing seems organized to me and very little to chose from. Maybe I'm wrong or just used to the large amounts and organization at my local consignment store but I was not impressed. Multiple 2 or 3 piece outfits were hanging but charging separately for. I only noticed because I have the same outfit at home (typically Carters) in which i paid 10$ for and they were priced separately at 5.99 and 2.99 basically being full price. A lot of the items were over priced in my opinion. To top it all off the guy at checkout is very unfriendly. No smile and definitely not a place to work if you aren't friendly. Cetera and her family are the best business in Burien. I recommend anyone searching for children clothing and toys to try Lollipops first. They are convenient, fast, great condition (like new & some new), polite and resourceful. I have to add generous as well. Her gentle and informative personality makes shopping there so fun. I enjoy this consignment store. I always find what I didn't know I was looking for. I love coming here to find my 3 year old now a dress for a special occasion. I recently had a baby boy looking forward to finding him unique clothing here. The last time I was here I was looking for new dresses that can fit me. They were extremely accomidating. I was able to put the baby in a napper inside the dressing room while I try on some clothes. They made my morning adventure out with two kids a breeze. They also had a fan in the dressing room so I was able to comfortably breastfeed instead in my car. read more

We LOVE this place!! With twin toddlers it's a constant battle to keep them entertained and we couldn't do it without Lollipops!! We are always trading in toys for different ones (we take In our gently used toys and Susan gives us credit to use in the store, and even a check if we don't spend it all before we are out the door!!). She's selective on what she takes and is fair on pricing and always has great finds!! We found this early Christmas present this weekend and we have already gotten our money's worth!! I have been systematically exploring all the children's consignment shops in the area, and so far lollipops is my favorite. They have a great selection, and I always seem to have what I'm looking for. They also have women's clothes so if my baby is cooperating I can shop for myself. Things I found here include a winter jacket for pregnancy, a baby snowsuit, and lots of baby clothes. It's definitely the first place I'll check when my baby graduates into needing some new items such as an activity station or a high chair. The staff here are friendly. I have not yet tried to consign anything, but would not hesitate to do so based on my experience as a customer. read more

If your stuff is good (not faded, no stains, not too wrinkly) and in the right season she'll usually take it right away unless it's a gigantic BAG that she has to go through. I'm fortunate that this place is so convenient to our family (we live really close by -- and my husband works just across the street!). In the 7 months since our son was born we've gotten some really indispensable items here, at very reasonable prices, for example... - a Graco swing, which was so handy in getting the little guy to fall asleep from months 1-5. - a Baby Einstein activity gym. (I was *this close* to buying brand new at Target for $70, and Lollipops had it for $30 -- phew!) - a Fisher Price Jumperoo which keeps baby occupied and exercised every day these days. He loves it!! - both a Boppy and a My-Breast-Friend nursing pillow (each at about 50% of retail cost) - a baby bath tub in perfect condition - a "Skwish" toy (usually $17, but I got it for $6) - plus a few clothing items Some of the items have been older models, but I agree with other reviewers that you'll only find merchandise here that is in great condition -- and the owner is very diligent about checking for recalls. read more

I've been in twice, years apart. I am beginning to think that those who donate/consign do not clean the items, then the receiver either doesn't care, can't say no, or cannot smell. The smell is similar to unwashed laundry. Poorly organized, cheap chain store items overpriced. Seemed like a huge amount of children's items, fine if you wash them before use. This is one of the gems that got me started on my newest addiction of scoring adorable outfits for my kids at 1/4 the price!! This store is small, yet jam packed with great finds. They has some baby furniture, maternity clothes, baby and children's clothes up to size 14 I think. They also have books, toys, and cloth diapers!! This is my favorite kids consignment store in the Seattle area! Susan and Joel are both awesome and extremely helpful. They will even watch out for items you need and give you a call when they come in (Bogs go fast so Thank You Lollipops!). They also have a nice selection of mom clothes so that everyone can have a little something :) Lollipops is also very community oriented and have participated in my son's school fundraisers multiple times. I've found everything here - great toys, books, gifts, costumes, sporting and specialty items, kids and mom clothes. The items are only lightly used (if at all) and the prices can't be beat. This store is GREAT for the mommy... or daddy that doesn't want to spend a fortune on cute clothes. I am one of those moms myself and refuse to buy expensive baby clothes when my daughter continues to grow like a weed. Lollipops is a RESALE shop for children's, and both womens regular and prego clothes. I found some super cute clothes for my daughter that were all in great shape and they were all name brands like Zutano, GAP, and Old Navy. It's got awesome parking too. I love this place! I hesitate to give them a great review because I don't want everyone to discover this amazing place and steal all the good deals, but it's such an awesome little store. They have a ton of gently used, high end clothing. It's a good mix of "regular" brands like Gap, Gymboree, etc with higher ends brands like Tucker and Tate and Hanna. It's all in great shape. The clothes are all organized neatly by gender and size. Tons of gear and toys too! I wish the shoes were a little better organized - currently they're all dumped in huge bins and i feel kinda gross rummaging through them. Well the truth will speak for itself when people sale or shop there. The amount that is paid for brand news items is about 95% less than what you paid for it and it's sold for a much larger price. Make a trip to the store if you're looking for consigment shopping and you can see for yourself. The clothes there cost barely less than you can buy new. If people think it's fair for the owner to pay $3-5 for something brand new that cost $40 and wasn't even used then sale it for $25 this is the shop for you. read more

I've been back on and off since my last review. I really like this place. The only drawback is there's a guy that occasionally works the counter who doesn't always seem happy to be there. But he won't keep me away, especially after last weeks visit which was the best yet. I went to trade in some toys that my toddler has outgrown. I left with a Little Tikes slide and kitchen/grill for less than half what they would cost brand new, and I saved even more with my trade-ins! The owner even offered to deliver the kitchen since it was too big for our car (it helps that we live less than two miles away). Definitely worth a visit. read more

The BEST resale for kids in the Seattle area!!! The owner is so great at finding the best in Children's resale clothing. Unlike other resale places, you can actually move around and see everything this store has to offer. They really only stock the BEST in lables, name brands, and quality. Lollipops is a fantastic resale shop. It truly could not be any easier to consign things there--I just drop off a box of stuff that is in good shape and Susan goes through it all very quickly and then I receive a store credit or cash. The amount of the credit or cash is always fair. It is just that easy! The merchandise in the store is in excellent condition and I love that they sell a lot of nice brands, unlike some other consignment/resale shops. When I was in the store she was telling me about different community centers that have play dates for children (I'm a new mom) she took $90 worth of my stuff and at the end she asked to see a picture of my daughter(so sweet). It's not often you run into business owners who work at their own store and who are so nice and considerate. This shop is a gem. It is worth the trip from Seattle. It's a little off the beaten path but very near a terrific shopping district in Burien that includes the new Bakery Nouveau. Make an afternoon of it. There is something here for all the women and children I shop for. The selection is excellent, well edited, and fun!!! I like to have fun shopping. I am not a natural shopper so i like surprises like you find here. There's a nook with great quality children's books and an almost life size ride on Hansa CAMEL. ( Get there quick if you need it. I may go back and buy it). Susan is warm, unflusterable, knowledgeable and careful about what she chooses to sell and how she prices her wares. The little baskets of jewelry are delightful. The children's shoes high quality and select. She has a selection of larger women's clothes-thank you- most consignment stores skip that. I am so glad to have found this place. Susan is the best! She always remembers my name and asks how I'm doing. She really does well with what kind of clothing and shoes she carries and Lollipops always has great toys and baby furniture. I've even found some great clothing for myself for really great prices. The store is quiet and friendly and my kids are always happy to go there so they can play in the toy section. I went in here today to sell for the first time. I was pleased with the experience on many levels. The person working was polite, organized, pleasant and was able to review my items immediately. She offered me cash (a check) or store credit within minutes. She only took about half of my items but I feel like she gave me a fair price for the items that she took. She was also at ease with the fact that my two tots were roaming around the store and very welcoming to them. I have consigned at other places and this was the easiest and I like that she gives you the money right away (no need to come back). Also appreciate that she has a section on her website telling what she is currently seeking. I will definitely be back to sell more items. This review is based on the selling experience only because I did not really browse through clothes to make a purchase. I do like the fact that they have lots of baby equipment and dance items. The owner is great. She always remembers me and my mother as well. She has some of the best finds for infants to four year olds. Most of my daughters clothing I've purchased here or traded in. Susan does really well picking through the clothes and she is very fair. This is one of my favorite shops.
