But I will fix it now. We come here mainly for their spices, soaps and candles. On my last trip there I got their soap which was Spruce & Cinnamon. I finally broke it out and love it! The fragrance of the soap matches up with the description quite well and is the soap itself is a good quality. But that shouldn't be a surprise... this botique is good quality all the way around! There is clothing here as well but it's mainly for the ladies so we don't explore much there but we have bought a number of other things on our visits here to Vashon!

As we pulled up in the parking lot, the first thing I saw was the only thing I wanted- a place to sit in the sun and this place has a long patio with two different areas to sit and they are gorgeous. One side had red Adirondack chairs all facing out for a nice view of Little Bird Garden across the way. The other had padded outdoor seating where you could sit and enjoy the sun. So ladies, if your hubbies aren't into shopping, they can hang out on the patio and chill on the patio. Inside there are fun little nooks. This place lives up to the "country store" name because they sell bulbs for flowers, candles, souvenirs and home design items. They also have men and women's clothing and there's a section for old time candy and fun kitchen items. It reminded me of one of those old mercantile shops you see in westerns or movies from the 40s and 50s where they have a little bit of everything and what they didn't have, they could order if you picked out what you want from the Sears Roebuck catalogue. There all kinds of fun stuff here. Lots of candles.... a nice variety actually to get whiff of to determine if they are going to be a good fit in your home. What really won me over was their beverage selection. While the inventory is small what they had was unique. I found several brands of tonic water and other beverages where I did not recognize the brand so I purchased some of those. So far so good there. The tonic water was very good! I also bought some chocolate candies that are relatively local. They are from Battle Ground, WA. I saw three different flavors and got the spicy hot one. It was very good and indeed had a kick to it!
