These are the frames I flipped

This little gem of a store has many finds from cloths to household ware. This is a must stop when I am on the island. I donate items here and buy items here. I have flipped art frames from this store. The volunteers who work here are helpful. A percentage of sales go back to the community to support individuals of need. Stop in and you will find something for sure.

What a fun little store. I checked out the primary store first, which has a small selection of clothing and jewelry. I found a recent copy of National Geographic I wanted to read for $0.50. They had a genuine fur coat for about $50 (medium length coat) and it was fun to browse around. This store did smell a little odd, but nothing I couldn't generally ignore. Next I went up to the second store, which has a lot of toys, tools, pet stuff, garage stuff, sports things, and furniture. It had a lot of cool, funky stuff and I wished I wasn't going home on an airplane or I would have bought additional items. I found some cool photo props and neat, odd-ball toys. The women who tended my purchases were very friendly and cheerful. Granny's is open Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Last thing - I like how they organize their books by genre - this makes it way easier to find a book you might actually want to buy and take home!

This is one of my favorite thrift stores ever. When I come to the island to hang with my family it's an absolute must. Granny's is like a vortex that sucks in amazing stuff. I love vintage Fire King and Pyrex. I always find great pieces. The prices are very reasonable for most things, well actually dirt cheap. They have the occasional overpriced item but nothing like Goodwill. If you're in town I recommend it for sure. Note: check their hours. They aren't open every day

This is a very popular place to go on Vashon for the locals, kinda like a place to be seen! I found this UW sweatshirt for $4! I had to grab it.. We also loaded up on kids books and some baby clothes. We always go here and Eagles when we visit Vashon, ALWAYS!

You gotta go often to find the awesome deals, but I don't mind because it's an "experience."

The owner is amazing and the staff over the last few years are fantastic! I've made this a monthly stop by to use my credit or come in and find some great new additions to my closet, and to be honest I haven't been let down ever! The selection, options, and array of themed items I've purchased are always a huge hit! And BONUS, I get so many compliments when out and about - that's pure coincidence right there! I would highly recommend coming in, saying hi to Iris and the team - thank you alll for everything you do for the community!

I truly believe that she would've said nothing to us at all if my sister didn't say "thank you" first before we left. For context, I am a Vietnamese, non binary, and bi person that went here with my sister. I say all this to say that I am not homophobic or racist. I am just tired of being treated as if I don't exist because I am not white. That's not to say that ALL white people are racist or are doing this intentionally, but it IS a form of racism. Staff (red bob white woman) didn't greet/ speak to us the entire time we were there, and both her and her tall white gay male customer (who she was very attentive to) didn't say excuse me when they would charge through the small walkways I was in. It just felt like another white people situation where I'm basically invisible to them and had bad vibes from that. Also how u gonna be a consignment store and ur stuff is ugly and damaged?? The selection was overpriced, dirty and nothing special.
